Good morning, everyone!

Holy crap!!! FIVE gold stars? Five?

I would like to begin by thanking God. None of this would be possible without him. Second, I like to thank my parents for the sacrifices they made for me along the way. I also wanna thank my wife for her patience and willingness to share me with the boards. I wanna thank my dogs for their unconditional love. Made and Binger...how could I forget the two members of the terrible three....the two guys (well, guy and gender neutral) who are there with me late into the night on Dec. 23rd for the most special time. Now that we have won five stars, I'm thinking about retiring and spending more time at home. Thank you all for your support.

Wow what a night at the pines!!!!! The Tabasco laced coffee was crazy good but my mouth is still on fire. I want to apoligize to Bradmac again for hitting him in the back of the head with that horseshoe. Binger had me laughing so hard that I let it go a little bit to early. Hopefully the bump will go down before morning. With that out of the way I am going to go drink a gallon of milk before I start breathing flames.

The Crowns are off to the mountains tomorrow afternoon, returning Sunday.

We'll be there, too. Stop by for a glass of cold sweet tea!

It will be only 80 degrees here today, the coolest ever for my birthday girl daughter, who turns 11 today and traditionally has amongst the hottest days of the year as part of her big day. Don't know why but I've always used her birthday as a kind of half way point to get busy getting ready for the season ahead.

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is a sunny day here in northern California and will be hot today. The past two days were awesome cool. We even used a blanket last night! Not much planned for today except more teacher reading. Hubby has a tri-tip marinating in Jack Daniels sauce and will BBQ it tonight. I hope everyone has a great, productive day!

Happy B-Day to Jeff's daughter. Also, it was great to hear from Brent. Christmasstar, when do you deliver your cake?

today another sunny day in the Netherlands. The past couple of days I have been panicking about wether or not i will get my university diploma, for no reason at all, because I graduated all my courses, so they will probably give me my diploma. I don't know why I get this stressed so easily. Has any of you got any advice on dealing with stress/panick/anxiety I would greatly appreciate it

I finally heard back from HSN after 6 days and they confirmed my suspicions. Their Christmas in July event is going to be held on July 20th. So the schedule now looks like this-

ShopNbc- July 19th
HSN- July 20th
QVC- July 23rd and 24th


Now we just need someone to run christmas movies on the 25th.

This is why we practically make our parents beg us to keep DD! We didn't have her for them to raise & our siblings seem to think that they can live like single people and use grandparents for a free babysitting service anytime; you know that grandparents have no social life...cheesy

Exactly how I feel and my daughter and son-in-law never dump the kids on me just so she can go run around. I had agreed to keeping them when my daugther went to college and graduated. Now she is working full time as a college teacher and my son-in-law is working as well. They pay me a little to help out with groceries. I don't expect to make as much as daycares charge and I am glad I can help out. It's rewarding to watch them grow and learn but I do get really tired! =)

I have known people raising their grankids because the parents choose to do their own thing and party, it's sad. =(

Good Thursday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

I have a busy afternoon lined up. I have to go the chiroprator (I think she's helping!), then go home to make sure Jacob is cutting the grass correctly. I demand my grass to be cut in straight lines, 45 degrees to the road. It's a guy thing. :lol: While he's doing that, I'm going to try to get some more work done on the deck. Hopefully, Nancy will be packing for the trip.

Xmas365 and Bradmac hope you guys enjoy your vacation. I am jealous. I have to work next Wednesday (my normal day off) because someone else is on vacation all week..but I still get off Monday for the Holiday and get paid an extra day for working Wednesday so maybe I shouldnt complain cheesy

Yesterday was a very nice day off of work.. took the Boys to the Zoo..they got to ride a Camel! I got to ride too not really my choice..had to ride with my youngest because he was too young to ride by himself..not a very smooth ride LOL. Took my oldest Son to the Oriole's game last night. Ate some yummy food! It was a busy day but very fun. Today has been a good day at work and I picked up my youngest Son's Birthday present (Its not until August but I like to plan ahead) on my lunch break. Getting out of work early tomorrow and off Monday so life is good.
