She is ... and her memories of working with them are priceless. (For instance, when she was pre-recording songs with Bing Crosby, he used to stick his chewing gum on the microphone before he started singing, to get it out of the way!) Now you know how we can talk with her for hours! But she's so disappointed that her movies are never shown on TV or released on video. TCM has the rights to the Universal vault (she worked for Universal from 1939 through 1944), but they've only shown "Never Give a Sucker an Even Break," where she plays W.C. Fields's niece. Maybe one of these days. She made so many wonderful musical movies.
 
Good morning, Christmas friends. It is going to be close to 100 today and in the 100s for the six days after that! UGH! Yes, we do have leftovers of the hickory-smoked tri-tip! It was so delish! Not much going on today. I do know that I am going back to the doctor. Pain is acting up quite a bit.

MerryCarey, I am glad you had a great visit. Xmas and everyone else on vacation, have a great time, no matter where you are. Happy Canada Day to everyone, even those of us not Canadians!

Today I don't babysit or work and now I am bored out of my mind! That usually don't happen, I usually find something to do or enjoy relaxing. I guess I could get some chores done, oh boy! cheesy

Beautiful day here..looking forward to getting out of work in about an hour. Not sure if I will be back on here until I get back into work on Tuesday. Happy 4th of July , have a safe and happy Holiday friends! We are inching closer to our favorite Season cheesy

Good Afternoon, Christmas family !!

A beautiful sunny day in NE Ohio, not too hot and not cold at all !

Unfortunately husband and I were sitting in the garage last evening for a few moments and someone from next door went by staring us down and looking "daggers" at us the whole time they were passing by.

I sure hope this isn't the beginning of worse things to come. Now I am going to be sort of on edge through the whole weekend. :-?

Anyway, I hope everyone else has a fab Fourth !!!!

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!! It is a hot day here in central Indy and it's going to get even hotter this weekend. It is going to be a busy weekend for me. I am going to help my cousin work on his car tomorrow morning and then he is having a cookout tomorrow afternoon. Sunday I have to babysit all day and I also have to make up my macaroni salad for Monday. Then Monday I have to make up my desserts in the morning and then head to my sisters house for our 4th of July cookout. Hopefully I can squeeze the nascar race in on Saturday night. I don't know how much time I will have to get on here so I hope everyone has a Great 4th of July weekend and Happy Canada Day to our friends north of the border. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

I got quite a bit done today - no lunch with friends. Probably a good thing it didn't work out as now I just might be able to take an entire day off on Monday! Woo Hoo!
