I just heard from my daughter! I hate to worry so much but her and her hubby went to stay in a cabin on a lake. The last I heard they were taking a boat out. Well, since I haven't heard from them in 2 days, naturally I thought the worse! She just called me from another phone and said the signal is no good on their phone. I told her how worried I was and that I am sorry for being so overprotective. She said she loves me for being that way because she knows I love her. Awww.... She also said they never took the boat out and don't plan on it. I told her, "good"! She laughed.

Thanks Meceka for phone information! Just you telling me that did give me some relief. You had it right but it was affecting her end.

Now I can relax and enjoy the 4th! =)

Well, little rain shower here right now. Probably going to cool things off some. Later, there will be fireworks all around. I will be able to take it all in from my deck. Yipee!

Actually, I have to be honest. I got devastating news last evening that my brother-in-law who is the closest I have to a brother was discovered to have a HUGE abdominal aortic aneurysm. He is going to undergo surgery Thursday. It is not leaking and it is not ruptured (Thank God) but I am frightened. I type these things all the time and I know the stuff than can go wrong.

Anyone who prays, please pray for my dear brother-in-law Wes. Of course, the cardiologist is apparently being nonchalant about the whole thing. Has to order a patch or something and then the operation will be Thursday. I can't seem to stop crying :-?

I have had a rough few days while most people have been planning their fourth of July parties and cookouts my family has been preparing for a wake and funeral. My brother in law who was only 55 passed away in his sleep on Friday morning very unexpectedly.we never saw this coming in a million years, He was also my best man at my Christmas Eve wedding . so if you could keep my family in your prayers this week it would be great.

people say it better for a person to go quick but its really hard on the people left behind. you feel you never got the chance to say good bye and its the shock to

Good evening,

We had a great little cookout with the inlaws today, I made Baby back ribs, chicken and New York Strip steak, it was very good, the ribs were the first time I ever made them and they were fall off the bone good. I am tired, we did a lot of yard work today and I finally got the Christmas lights off the house, only 4 more months until they go back up. cheesy
