Christmas Countdown - 2011

house cleaning today and doin the laundry......all while watching Christmas movie.....we just finished The Santa Clause I....the second is just starting now....then we have National Lampoon s Christmas, It is a wonderfull life and Home Alone II......plus all the cartoons!!!

It's been a busy day here. I worked on my sign business first thing this morning, then worked on the deck all afternoon. Then we had to go to a family reunion. Our reunion is three days long at a church-run facility that used to be a school. Now it has a big kitchen and dining area, dorms and a swimming pools. Lots of out of town family stay in the dorms. Every year I'm "elected" to cook Sunday morning breakfast for 30 folks. I don't mind, though. I kinda like cooking breakfast for a crowd.

The kids were up late last night, so Nancy and I expect to be able to settle down on the couch for a movie tonight. I just put on a pot of decaf, and I have this BIRTHDAY cake for a snack.

Sorry, I couldn't help my self.

This all started around 6 pm yesterday when I was outside for a short time in the heat. I was standing in the shade and not doing anything physical but felt overheated and sick by the time I came in and running fever ever since. Not sure what's going on.

Wayne has been taking excellent care of me and I keep apologizing to him because he is waiting on me. He told me to stop doing that and he wants to take care of me but I am not one to tell people what to do. I am glad I have him because I am having a hard time getting around, very dizzy when I stand up.

I am going back to bed now and hopefully will be back on tomorrow.

Feel better!!!

Not exactly summer weather, however it is nice to just be inside relaxing and watching my christmas movies So far I've got Santa clause is coming to town, & the office, episodes classy christmas part 1 & 2, along with a benihana christmas under my belt.

Thinking my next christmassy entertainment of choice will be A charlie Brown Christmas!:-D

Fun!!! We have been watching a bunch of Christmas movies and specials.. even my husband is getting excited after goign to the Hallmark ornament premiere yesterday!

The company that was supposed to provide all of the rides closed a month before the fair started, so they had to bring in 2 separate companies just to get some rides there. Well I guess both of those companies couldn't get along and the one with all of the bigger rides packed up and left. That led to most of the food providers leaving because no one was sticking around when they realized there was no rides. The have a local company lined up for next year but they may have to do some damage control to get people to come back. On the other hand the Hallmark ornament premiere was wonderful. I managed not to buy any but it was great to hear the Christmas music playing and to see the store all decorated for Christmas.

The Christmas store kind of makes up for it though!!

I love to cook for a crowd but not the cleaning up that comes with it. :lol: Enjoy your time with the family!!!!!!

We were in the amusement Park Tripsdrill yesterday....and we loved it....they had two rollercoasters suitable for children....one starting at 3 the other terone 4 years....Kandice did both and luved it. They had a children wild water ride....and she loved it......they had another wild water ride...but she would have had to be 6 to do it....and I follow dem rules....there was yet another wild water ride...u sit in round boats and go through wild waters.....Kandice was laughing so hard....it was beautiful.....and besides that a lot of other cute and fun things to do....very folklore and laid back.......and then.....my first wooden roller coaster of my life.......when I was young....there were none....anywhere....same when I was a teenager....it seems to be the new thing to build them now.....get that oldskool feeling.....and I loved it, too.........we rounded the day up with a delicious meal from good ole McD s

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!! It is going to be hot one here in central Indy and it's just going to get worse as the week goes on. Thankfully there will be plenty of Christmas in July programing to help us feel a little cooler. I am getting ready to head out for breakfast and then it will be on to church. This afternoon I have some reading to do while I am watching the nascar race. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am sure u guys will have a blast....I love those type of parks....there are quite many now over here
but my favorite is Europa Park...it is huuuuuuuuuuge and just simply the best one in all of Europe when talking about a park that is great for everyone....even if u dont like roller coasters...it pays off to go there....the theming is awesome, the rides are great, it is very, very clean........The one we were in yesterday is great too...just much smaller and just a little different.....cute, clean, original and nice

It is overcast here in Raleigh at this hour but no rain is predicted.

I do feel a little bit better today and debating if I should go to work or not. I am still weak and feel sluggish but not near as bad as yesterday. I already called my boss yesterday for a back up just in case I can't come in. I know them all too well up there and even if I say I am feeling better they will insist I stay home and rest until I am 100% better. We will see.
