My brother will be so happy, he called me from Abbotsford the other day complaining about being chilly and wet. Told him we should switch weather for awhile!

Good evening, everyone. My last physical therapy was today, so I am sort of happy. With all the moving I must do with my classroom, it really cut into my day, especially when I was on a roll! Hope everyone has a great evening and a great early morning! Off to watch TV.

100 days til the season!! Yippee!!! I really need to get on with my Christmas shopping! It's going to be a bit harder this year... Because... I moved out of my parents house and in with my boyfriend!! But I am oh so very excited to decorate my own home

Wishbone is now on an additional medication because now the doc is not so sure it is a brain tumor. He is wondering now if it is a heart problem. So Wish is on a very slight dose of a drug called benazepril. He seems to be tolerating it well, still my Wish.

He has an infection which he is on antibiotics for and the swelling is not going down as fast as the doctor would like but I know if he were not okay my sister would not be coming here tomorrow.

I pray Wes gets well soon. I also pray for Wish to get better too!

I LOVE IT! Time for a Christmas movie today to celebrate!

It was cool enough yesterday evening to turn off the AC and put on the whole-house fan.

I don't know what it's like to turn the ac off! =)

Hey Gang! Getting closer and closer to our favorite time of the year :grin:. Trying to get used to my new busy work schdule. This week has been a rough one.... just because I had a lot of stuff to do after work with the Boys and it has been busy at work since the one girl in my office was let go. We are suppose to hire someone new next week but then we will have to train them.

I hope everyone has a great weekend! I bought a few gifts for my youngest Son for Christmas on my lunch break today. He loves bath toys.. so I got him a few of them and some neat Melissa & Doug play food. He is the tricky one to buy for since he is only nearly 2 years old. My oldest Son wants EVERYTHING and so far he has been the one I have bought most gifts for!

Cracker Barrel has good chicken and dumplings too. Hmmm...hubby and I need to go out to eat soon!

I always get breakfast when we go to Cracker Barrel. Yum!

Evening folks! It's wine o'clock in the depths of Scotland and I'm putting a Care package together for Bruce (because obviously a Walmart the size of 12 football fields isn't enough!) I've got to get it mailed tomorrow because there's only 2 weeks left of camp - can't believe how quickly it's gone. Once camp is over, he and a friend........let's call her Ashley (!) are heading to DC then Toronto then New York then back to Philly to fly home. The arrival back to the land of plaid is Sept 8th which, in my book, is well and truly fall, so YAY!!!!!!!!!!

On a sadder note, the girl I married last week died yesterday; just a baby at 19. Still, they had a week together which he'll have in his memory forever.

Very overcast and oppressive outside here at this hour where we did not drop below the 80's all night.
Should be cooler however during the day today with the clouds keeping the direct sun away.
We could still use more rain too despite a couple of recent deluges.

And I am seeing the Christmas cookbook....AWESOME!! I will be having to find my fave recipes to submit. Hope everyone is having a beautiful and blessed day and Happy 100 days to the Christmas Season. It was a bitter sweet ceremony. I know that will be in your memory forever being a part of it. So sad she had to go.

I worked all day today and am worn out!!! Thank goodness for my friend who has been helping, doing all the heavy lifting while she was there. I am with Maureen--it is time for some wine!!

I'm home from babysitting and boy am I wore out. Both of my nieces were in a mood today. They layed on the floor and cried about everything. I was extremely happy to see their dad get home. I stopped by walmart on my way home and found a couple of cute outfits on clearance for my nieces. So that is 2 more Christmas gifts out of the way.
