Christmasstar- It looks like Vermont is having some really bad flooding. I hope everything is okay where your at.
 
Hi everyone!

Good evening. And, it's almost time to say good night. What a busy weekend! Yesterday was spent volunteering at playoffs for the Wednesday night league. Today was spent playing in the Monday night league playoffs - well, for three hours, at least. It was windy, but we won for the third year in a row. Yay!

I hope everyone had a memorable weekend. It's nearly the last weekend of summer. One more long weekend and we can all get entirely into fall mode! I'm exhausted already. Good night, everyone.
 
I am glad to see you checked in Binger! Sorry about Starbucks. =(

Lauriebear is in New York and hasn't been on since Friday. I hope she is ok!

Who else is missing since the storm has passed? I haven't had a chance to read all the post and got to get to bed soon.

Seawaters, I apologize but I guess I have missed the post regarding your son. Was he in the path of the storm? I am glad you heard from him!
 
I am glad that most of you are safe. I just hope the rest will be able to check in soon and let us know they are safe!
 
According to Christmasstar profile, she was on at 5:02 pm today. Hopefully all is fine but she didn't get a chance to post.

And that onside kick was quite the shocker. The Colts deserved to win that game. The Packers played terribly. Good thing it is only preseason.

It didn't surprise me. The colts never seem to recover an onside kick. If I was one of the other teams playing them I would kick them more often.

The colts have lost every preseason game for year's now so It might have jinxed us if we actually won one.
 
Glad to hear most of you easterners are happy & Alive!! Certainly puts some rest on my heart and mind.. as for Christmasstar, Lauriebear & Jayish.. Hoping we hear from them in the next couple days.. praying they are A-ok.
 
A couple days ago I posted saying I had a surprise from my Local Newspaper.. well here it is!!!!

Basically every year, hundreds of people with motorcycles gather donated toys ( or toys their donating themselves).. and do a parade down the main road in my town, with the toys strapped to their bikes. I believe the toys are gathered for less fortunate children for Christmas time.. I'm assuming they do it in September because it has the most favorable weather for riding a motorcycle?
