Long day at work today, day off tomorrow, I will be spending time getting the water out of the basement. JP starts 1st grade tomorrow, my boy is growing so quickly, it feels like just yesterday I held him for the first time. A friend of the family passed away yesterday, he was in his 80's, his wife and him never had any children of their own and always treated me very well. He will be very missed by anyone he ever met, he was one of the nicest, honest people I ever met.

2 more days until the "Bers!"

UGH! Trans-Siberian Orchestra tickets don't go on sale for Philips Arena in Atlanta until September 23rd, I think that was the date... anyway, maybe that's a good thing, I can save money for tickets between now and then. I just got to remember to be online the minute they go on sale so I don't miss out.

Thanks SO much for that post. I probably would not have known without it. :)

Just dropping by to say hello. I've been staying home today nursing my cold with plenty of fluids and movies (a nice double feature of "The Shop Around the Corner" and "You've Got Mail"---I may go for a triple with "In the Good Old Summertime," because all three are based on the same story). Slept fine last night, and I think the cold is breaking up. I'm going to stay home one more day tomorrow to hopefully get it well and truly broken up. I'm hoping it doesn't hang on like my colds have a habit of doing. My voice usually stays in the bass range for days when I get a cold. Thank heaven I completed my podcast work early.

I'm thinking about everybody and wishing you all well. Even when I'm feeling lousy, I can always get a smile by dropping in here for a visit.
 
will be doing some christmas shopping next week, time is ticking by and i have lots of presents that need purchasing...

1 more day left of august cheesy good riddance, i'm more than ready for the beginning of autumn!

This cannot be true! Wowzers. Three more days of work and then I am officially unemployed. Does anybody have something to offer me? I sent out about eight resumes today. Here's hoping that something comes very soon. Anything more than a week without work could cripple my budget!

Well, we're out of milk... So, it looks like I have to head downstairs to pick some up. That's probably the best part about living here - groceries are an extremely short walk.

I made the nicest Strawberry & Cheese Danish they came out so light and yet the filling was nice and dense. This was the first time I ever made these, I like testing them at home on the family, Snickers (my dog) gave me her lip smacking approval!!!

Spent the morning getting the boys ready for school and preschool, then I got to play in the water in the basement, I removed more than 100 gallons of water from the basement using the ShopVac. Then I went to my in-laws to borrow the high speed fan to finish drying everything up. Stopped at Dunkin Donuts for a cherry-lemonade coolatta, they are good but give you really bad brain freeze. Just relaxing now in the peace and quiet, probably watch something Christmassy. Funny, as I am typing this a commercial for a pawn shop came on TV and they were playing Jingle Bells and talking about "extra money for the holidays" I guess they are getting the jump early.

i dont kill them they be with me for about 12 hours but i let on they are here for he 30 over the week
might need more stuff this week i never get a day of.
