No cooler weather in sight--only temps in the 100s. But, when it is truly fall here, it is heaven!!

Good afternoon, everyone. Just home from school and ready to relax until tomorrow when hubby and I have lots of work to do in the garage to get ready for our kitchen/family room remodel. Yeah! I love being uprooted!! We are trying to rearrange the garage to get ready to put our family room furniture in!

I am extremely tired tonight, very rough day at work, had to play catch up all day. I did make the homemade cranberry sauce for the Thanksgiving type dinner tomorrow, I will get home from work and the turkey will waiting, mmmm. I did buy my first bag of Halloween M&M's of the year, it's getting closer. :-D

I did make the homemade cranberry sauce for the Thanksgiving type dinner tomorrow, I will get home from work and the turkey will waiting, mmmm. We just finished dinner/supper: homemade hamburgers on ciabatta rolls, cheddar cheese, fresh tomatoes and lettuce, fresh cucumber, and fresh corn on the cob. This was the first time I have tried fresh cucumber on a burger. It was wonderful! Try it sometime. It's time to veg out and watch some TV. Talk to y'all tomorrow. Have a great evening, everyone!

You still trying to use Mr Miyagi's chopsticks to get it.

I switched from the chopsticks to Brad's shotgun about 2 hours into the battle. It took about 50 rounds but one of those bird shot pellets finally got the little fella.cheesy Now I just have to do something about all of these holes in the wall. :-?

Aloha!! Glad to see everyones day was swell! Happy Friday to all tonight I am going to watch fireworks down at the waterfront for the annual "salmon festival". Not sure when or why it started... All I know is, it's the weekend where a ton of people come and fish.. And whoever nabs the biggest fish also wins $10,000! then next weekend the "fall fair" is in town.... Which to me, means delicious candied apples, cotton candy, mini donuts, and snow cones!!! Hahahah

Yes, thank you, I had not heard the story of the pear tree, made me cry. One day I hope to be able to travel to New York and visit the site.

I know when I 1st saw the tree I couldn't,t believe it was alive, but it has. I hope you do get to NYC it is a beautiful city & we would love to have you.

Good Saturday morning, my Christmas friends!

I am once again posting live from Bernie's General Store in beautiful downtown Bellville, GA! I've cooked sausage, eggs & bacon this morning, and I've got the coffee going, so y'all come on down!

I'll be here till around noon, then bird hunting season starts! Yiippee!! Luckily, one of my sisters-in-law is willing to fill in for me this afternoon. They all know how important hunting is to the guys!

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It is going to be another hot one today. We are shooting for a record high of 99 degrees. Then monday they are projecting a high of 72. I don't have a lot going on today. I'm thinking about heading down to Bernie's for breakfast. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
