I leave for vacation tomorrow, I cannot wait, so I may not be on a lot next week or at all really.

I called and made a Dr. appt. this morning, and went to it. Guess what? I have the flu. I will be out of work until Monday, lots of rest and OTC drugs are my prescription.

I could not sleep at all last night. I was in the latrine all night with neasea and all that good stuff,but this feels different than the flu or virus,my stomach is on fire and I feel full even though I have not eaten in like 12 hours..in other words it feels like someone has a vice grip on my tummy!!pure agony! has anyone had these symptoms before and can help me? I am going to try to get going and maybe I will feel better later on! have a good day everyone! and we are below 100 days now!!!whoooo hooo!

Hope you're already feeling better! Like others have said, better to be on the safe side & get yourself checked out by a doctor. Take good care.

This is a little embarrassing but I thought was funny. We are potty training our 2 year old granddaughter or I should say, she is really potty training herself! We just don't think of it too much, she is the one that keeps running to the potty on her own and doing VERY WELL. Shocking, I never seen it this easy. My own kids were not that easy!

Anyway, the embarrassing story. I went to the restroom and my granddaughter heard me flush the toilet, she started clapping and saying, "Yay! Good grandma, you go potty"! :lol:

I love it! Kids are so honest...they can always bring a smile to your face, can't they?!

Well it is a beautiful Friday here. Woke up it was 48 degrees, burrrr right now it is warming nicely we are at 63, YAY!!! I leave for vacation tomorrow, I cannot wait, so I may not be on a lot next week or at all really. My husband, my baby (the dog Snickers), and I are going to Maine!!! I just cannot wait!!!

I order these NY Giant snow-globe tree ornaments, they look really cute and they are small too, there are 3 of them, it takes 4 to 6 weeks to arrive so I will let you know when they come in how they really look.

We had a videographer for our wedding also, if your lucky you will catch your future husband say something out of nervousness, like what happened to me, and and it will be forever preserved on DVD for generations of ridicule. To this day, almost 10 years, my wife will not let me forget what I said. Which I didn't think was to bad. Hey, I was nervous. cheesy

All I said was "Let's get this over with and get to Disney World" while I was being interviewed by the videographer in my last few moments as a bachelor.

What's wrong with that?

:lol: this reminds me of when I 1st met my husband... To quote him "like don't think this means we will hang out every weekend and all, I like you but I have a lot of things I like to do" - I am still waiting for that weekend we don't hang out!!!! The silly things men say!!!! :lol: So, of course being the loving wife I am I remind him of this every so often and we get a good laugh!!!

Now the dilemma: Do I show up for a hunk of pot roast and risk exposing myself to the flu? Maybe not, I haven't got my shot yet ... Maybe you could make another pot roast in a week or two ...

Well my friends today I'm in for the long haul... Coworker called in sick so I will be working 13 hours today! I plan on Christmas shopping with my next pay cheque hahahahha I will check in later!

Haha - that is sooo funny. That cracks me up. Not so much did I catch my husband doing too much, but there is a lot on there that we had no idea people in our wedding party did or said and it is just too funny. I crack up everytime I watch it. :grin:

Sounds like a great day, we have just finished potty training our 3 year old LC, he is now wearing underwear while he sleeps through the night, and no accidents for almost 2 weeks, just clear the way for as he makes a bee-line for the potty in the morning. I hope the transition is as easy for you as it was for us.

Congrats to LC! That is awesome! They say it so much harder to potty train boys, so I am looking foward to that with Dylan when it comes time. Elexis just kind does her own thing with it right now. I am not pushing her. Since she just turned 2 yesterday, the doctor tells us it's not a big deal yet, so I think whenever she is ready, she will be.

First off - Happy 100 days! I'm glad you went to the Doctor's to find out what you have, but sorry to hear you have the flu. Just keep resting and take your meds. I am jealous of the pot roast. I LOVE pot roast. I was going to make my broccoli and cauliflower soup for tonight in the crockpot, but my hubby told me since we have so much to do today/tonight for the party tomorrow, we can grab something while we are out. This is a good thing I guess, but I was looking to the soup too! Feel better soon, Xmas!

I've been trying to get online all day to say a big Happy 100 days to Christmas!!!! So glad I made it in the nick of time.

Lots of shops in the UK are gearing up for the season now - it's getting very exciting. I bought all my Christmas cards last week and lots of gifts - just need to started on the chutneys and chilli jam I am making this year.

Happy 100 days til Christmas, friends! It is a bit chilly here...I actually had to turn the heat on in my car on the way home from work last night! Travis and I are going with his best friend and wife to a fair and concert tonight, and I will probably wear a hoodie. Crazy!!!

Im going to Kohls tomorrow night. Hoping our Kohls also has started with their Christmas items

What Kohl's do you frequent? If it's any in Maryland, I'm sure they're bigger than the one I work at, so you should definitely have a good selection!!

I am the only one in my house that will eat Pot Roast so everyone come on over!

I WILL BE THERE AND I WILL EAT IT ALL, lol. No seriously, I friggin' LOVE some pot roast!!

I went to Kohl's on my lunch break & got super excited too!! I collect their St. Nicholas Square Village. I practically ran over other customers on the way to the back of the store trying to scope out the new 2011 pieces! They're still setting everything up, so I'll have to go back tomorrow to see what else is out

Ha, I've seen some customers do that lately! Have you been in my store? lol Yes, we are still setting up as well...the official Christmas set was on Tuesday and overnight Wednesday, so hopefully by next week, the sets will totally be done. And yeah, it is a struggle to not spend money...I have been doing very well though since being engaged...I only spent $25 last month and that was to get a friend a gift card for her birthday!

I was in a Kohl's in Vermont at the end of August and they were already putting it up there too!

We did spend a lot on our wedding and to this day, I still don't regret it. It was one of the best days of my life. I know we spent a lot too on our pictures and like I said then we also had a videographer, but I will NEVER regret that decision. The pictures are gorgeous and anytime I want to relive a moment of that day, I can watch it all over again!

I've been told that if you're gonna go all out, do it on the pictures. Because in 20 years, no one will remember what color the chairs/tablecloths/napkins were, and no one will remember what the food tasted like...but you WILL have the pictures!!!

I have had pain like that, but luckily it went away overnight and I never had it diagnosed. PLEASE go to a doctor and have it checked out if it doesn't go away (or hasn't by now...I think you posted this last night!). Get well soon, Neal!

I just got done working for the day & I'm getting ready to ice the cut out sugar cookies I made last night, I turned on Christmas music, & lit a candle! It's chilly outside, just turned on the furnace! Oh what a day! The cookies are not Chrsitmas (they are OSU Buckeye cookies) but I can pretend!! :lol:

Noooooo! Now I'll have to make Penn State cookies to cancel out your OSU ones. (Just kidding!)
