Good afternoon everyone! I'm not feeling well at all so I stayed home sick today. I hope you all are doing much better than I am! haha

Good Evening all! I have been sick the last week and finally found out the cause and am doing so much better now...Turns out I had Pancreatitis last week. Dr's put me on a clear liquid diet and antibiotics and so I finally feel human again. I am on leave at work until next monday which is also the day before I leave to come home to the states so I guess I will just "hang out" until then. I have alot to catch up on here,if I miss one day let alone a week around here it takes me a long time,I just wanted to pop in and say a quick hello and hope everyone is doing great!

Oh my......I was afraid it might be pancreatitis.....I type about the stuff all evening but maybe this was just one attack and if you are feeling better that is the main thing - Hurry home to us Dawg !!! xo

I need some of that Goober Juice, too. Is there enough for me? I just put coffee creamer in my glass of milk

Thanks!! I just got off the phone with my sister and my niece isn't having a very good day. The steroids kept her up all night and then her knees where really swollen this morning. My sister kept her home from school and now she is having an allergic reaction to one of the medicines. Her face is all red and her eyes keep watering. My sister is waiting on the childrens hospital to call her back but the family doctor said it's probably from the steroids since she has reacted to every other one they have given her.

I feel so bad for this poor little baby and your sister has to be having a conniption fit !! Still praying, Made xo

OK I am so confused (blame it on my blonde roots or lack of sleep from being up til 4AM fixing this computer, or blame it on both) but what in the world are The Pines?

Guess what!!! I got a call from walmart.. I go in for my final interview at 2:45 on Friday!!! And my wonderful boyfriend brought me flowers to work today today is magnifico!!!!

I had to leave work early today because I wasn't feeling well. Unfortunately every time I tried to sleep, the dog would bark at who knows what, so I'm still feeling a little under the weather.

In good news, Travis and I have decided to definitely go with the Yorktowne Hotel for our wedding ceremony and reception! We got all the paperwork today and have five days to fill it out. It's very exciting but also a little scary too! Our wedding day will actually be a year from today - September 21, 2012!

Hope everyone is doing well - I will take some antibiotics and head to the Pines to meet everyone! Don't worry, I will stay in the corner so I don't infect anyone, lol!

I forgot to add that I went to the doctor today about my Workman's Comp appointment. He said I need surgery on my shoulder from when I fell in my classroom in March. Oh, the joys of getting older!!! As soon as WC approves it, I will be going under the knife again!!!

My mom has had both of her shoulders operated on to repair torn rotator cuffs. The recovery for it was a breeze compared to her foot. I hope yours will go smoothly.

She was livid with the children's hospital today. It took them 6 hours to call her back and then they told her that she needed to take her in to her family doctor. She told them that would have been nice to know before 5pm and that her family doctor said she needed to call them because he has never received any of the info he has requested from them. She called her family doctor back though and made an appointment for tomorrow morning. She really wants to change rheumatologist but the next closest one that treats children is all the way down in Portland.

have not been on much these last few days
Hell i was busy. had 6 pallets on tuesday and they were hard work as there was a lot to sort out
The shop is busy .again more asking about when the christmas stuff is going out
One of the girls that works in the shop was saying yesterday " dont you dare put any stuff out to the 1st week in november. feel like telling her to go and find another job( she not a mmc fan. one of then she cant wait till its over and get the decor down)
So for the last 2 days i have done nothing only eat sleep and work
Weather is so so enough over there rain wind and then sunny spells a wee bit of everything.. and it reports its gonna get worst in oct with snow.

Hi! I missed out on here yesterday so no Pines for me. I never got a chance to log in at all, very busy day.

My grandson got student of the month which will be presented to him at the PTA meeting tonight. I am excited for him. He is only in kindergarten but it is very exciting to see that he is starting off in school and being one of the first students in his class to get this reward.

We will have much cooler weather today with the high of only 80. Time to open the windows and air out the house!

I will try to catch up on all the post soon!

Good Morning, friends!
Not much new to report here. It's still hotter than hades, but a cool down is on it's way. Sooo looking forward to that!
Work has been a bit overwhelming lately, so I'm hoping to catch a break soon. My sister comes out to visit me in a week- I can't wait!! We have lots of fun things planned
Harlowe seems to be holding her own. Thank you for all of the thoughts & prayers. Please keep them coming, her meds are officially done, but need to wait a few weeks before going back to the vet. I'll let you know what happens after her follow-up appt.!
Hope everyone that has been sick is feeling much better!!
What Christmassy things have you guys been up to?
I switched out some cd's in my truck, and have been listening to a few of my favorite Christmas soundtracks. Yesterday was Miracle On 34th St. You shoud've seen the crazy looks I was getting at stoplights! Ha! Made me chuckle to myself cheesy

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!! It is going to be a cool day here with a high of 67 degrees. We also have a slight chance of rain. I am exhausted today. I once again couldn't sleep last night. I went to bed a little after 3am and was back at 7:30. I'm getting to old to do this. It's a good thing a brought a thermos of Carl's high energy blend home with me last night. I don't have much on the agenda today. I need to run to the grocery store and then it will be home to do some work. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess I shouldn't have popped in to the Pines last night - I keep making mistakes this morning. I thought I added CAH's post about her grandson to my multi-post quote and then I thought I quoted Gabulldawg. What exactly was in the drink Carl gave me? cheesy

Another busy day ahead of me. Yesterday I managed to do up a batch of stewed tomatoes - they smelled so good! Cold-canning hot peppers is next, but I'm not sure if I have any canning jars. I need to go down to the basement and search. Every time I go down there that line from Ghostbusters where Igon says something along the lines of "Do you experience feelings of dread in your basement" pops into my head - and then the feelings of dread go away :grin:

Tomorrow is the first day of FALL :dance:

I could call her more than that, wood they might not be to nice..but its her lost not mine... bad enough having her working for me . she just lives across the road so she is a neibhour as well.( the cross,s i have to bear lol )
