Well my friends... Today has been a long day... I got to work at 3.. And fell violently I'll. Puking, vertigo the whole nines.. I was sent home and couldn't keep anything down, including water and gravol. Aaron decided to take me too the hospital around six as I was becoming weak and unable to comprehend things..
Since then I have had xrays on my abdomin, two bouts of bloodwork and 2 bags if Iv laced with gravol and some other stuff I can't pronounce.. Through my bloodwork they found that my white cells are very high so they have admitted me for overnight. I have also been isolated to my room :( they are checking too see if I have an infection in my blood... Here's to hoping I don't!!!
Goodnight all my friends

Oh my goodness !!! You poor little thing !! xo Hope you feel better ((((HUGS))))

I plan to continue watching. I think once they get past these embarrassing auditions and onto some talent it will get better.

I agree. Idol never holds my attention during the auditions either.

Good Morning, my Famous Fantastic Friends!

Wake up and smell the Weekend rising!

Onward and downward:
Days to the Season: 51
Days to Christmas Day: 93
The 3/4 Christmas Day Milestone arrives the day after tomorrow!
Wowzerzingo!
(Hmmm..... Carl's starting to stretch it a bit with that one.)

We had no rain yesterday but it looked like it might most of the day.
Looks like more of the same this morning, with heavily laden skies and a dark somberness prevailing.
Currently, we stand at 73 degrees.

OK!
It's Weekend Eve!
Are yeady for the weekend?
No?
Well it's coming, regardless.
Have a Wonderous One.
.....And a Fabulous Friday to boot, Folks!

Welcome Back Fall!!!!!! I've missed you.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!! We are going to ring in fall with a cool cloudy day. I have some stuff to do this morning and then I may make a trip to the orchard this afternoon. They posted on facebook that they have fresh cider again and I really want some. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Finally here! The weather will be cool today but will reach to the mid 90's for the next 5-6 days. :-? It's ok, at least we know that Autumn is here and it will get cooler! Are you all enjoying your weather?

Very much so. Getting some rain we needed, highs in upper 60's/low 70's, and lows in upper 40's.
The only issues we are having is with bears. It was a bad year for acorns so they are coming down looking for food. A friend of ours was late for church because a sow and 2 cubs were laying in their driveway. Local wildlife officials are telling folks to not grill outside because it attracts the bears. It is always neat to see one our yard but a little spooky when going out at night.

Happy Friday to all---looking forward to the weekend, of course.

No sign of the wild turkey this morning, although Mr. thought he heard him gobbling around outside this morning.

Hmmmm....

You wonder why they get nasty? cheesy

 Point taken ... I had macaroni instead!

Oh, how terrible ... it's so awful when you have to wait for them to find out what's wrong so they know how to treat it. I hope you have some answers and some relief soon. Please keep us posted.

Dylan my friends little boy started his Chemo on Tuesday so we passed on boiled sweeties for him to take away the nasty taste and he's being so super brave.

Chemo is so awful---it must be especially hard on a child. Brave little fellow!

Wow! I know that is something we never worry about here. That is scary. I guess people around here should stop complaining about squirrels and stray cats, they could be dealing with bears! I love the squirrels and stray cats but some people hate them. =(

We got all the stray cats around here fixed so they won't reproduce. We don't need a population explosion! =)

We hope to see a picture if you get one!

I know a lot of people who will only watch during the auditions but I get more excited when they are over with.

I like to become a fan of a singer and start cheering them on. I can't wait until they get into the competition!

Wow ... there was a big old wild turkey in the front yard across the street .... I hear they're seriously nasty if you tangle with them.
Are we talking about the bird or the liquor? :snowball:

Soon enough I will be going to work when it's dark, and leaving work when it is nearly dark.
That's the only downside of winter for me.
Actually, ever since Scrubs finished, I do not have a favourite TV show - or one that I even follow, at least.
1. Start a Netflix account
2. Search for Star Trek
3. Hit PLAY
4. Get popcorn ready!

Haven't posted since Monday...Monday night we had a meeting, Tuesday night we had another meeting and I had to pack, Wednesday we were going out of town, tonight I had ballgame duty, and tomorrow night I will have ballgame duty
Glad to have you back! Being busy every evening is no fun, is it?

Goodness! I hope you feel better sooN!
Bradmac, I am glad to hear the good news and I am sure your wife has missed you as much as you missed her!
I think she actually did!

In all my years of visiting your wonderful area, I've only seen one adult bear and couple cubs. Keep a sharp eye out for them!

When I was younger we rarely saw bears except on the parkway or hunting but as folks build homes in remote areas, we are moving into their territory. 70% of the land in our county and 85% of the land in the neighboring county are federally owned so we have a lot of wildlife. I heard just this morning there is a sow and her cub in a tree in downtown Robbinsville. Haven't heard of any bear issues in Maggie Valley but I know neighborhoods around Asheville are seeing lots of bears. Tell your mom to keep her eye out...

Good afternoon,

We hit our goal! Wooohooo! And the day before Autumn to boot. Just a regular day at work, nothing exciting, nothing bad. I heard a person already complaining "...it's too early for Christmas stuff..." comment last night about a store already having their Christmas decor out. I just said to her it wouldn't be out if it didn't sell. What a Scrooge.

I have a friend that thinks that way, but not because she doesn't like to see Christmas stuff out, it is because when she does see the stuff out so early it makes her feel that she is even further behind on her to-do list and she feels that she will never catch up.

Wow ... there was a big old wild turkey in the front yard across the street when I reached out the door for the mail. I wasn't close enough to get a good picture of him, but a got a little long-distance video. That's the closest I've been to one of those, and I don't think I'd want to get much closer. I hear they're seriously nasty if you tangle with them.

There is a HUGE rafter of turkeys that live near us - they are big and noisy! For some reason, they like to walk down the road around 3 in the morning - gobbling along the way - makes me want a veggie burger cheesy

I love it! I never liked seeing the sun out at almost 9:00 pm.

I like having light out late - it gets very dark around here and can be somewhat spooky :ghost:

Oh, no, Britt! Praying they find what is wrong and you are all better soon! ((((HUGS))))

Morning all.

What a brave boy - I will keep praying for him!

Good morning, Christmas family!

Happy first day of Autumn!!!!!!!!!

I hope each and everyone of you have a fabulously Merry Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think a lot of people prefer it to stay light out longer but I never liked it. I usually like to be asleep by 9:30-10:00 pm. It makes it difficult for me to wind down when the sun is so bright 30 minutes before bed time. I love it getting dark by 6:00 pm, helps me wind down easier. =)

I don't think I would like it if it felt spooky around here.

Unfortunately, I have never been a fan of Star Trek - or any other Sci Fi show for that matter. In fact, the only Sci Fi should I can ever remember enjoying was Sliders.

I'll just pretend I didn't read that.
