I can't sleep so I decided to get on up.. I might try to doze off again before I go to work. I have a busy day ahead and when I have days like that I usually can't sleep well. I just took the dog outside and it was cold! well 48F to me that is cold,I know alot of you must laugh everytime I say how cold it is,because you are use to wayyy colder temps. have a good morning everyone! talk to y'all later!

Good evening, Christmas family !!

Ai-Chi-Hua-Hua !! Am I stressed tonight after work !! It was going okay until I got this goober who had an accent AND slurred his words AND didn't speak up ! I wound up leaving LOTS of blanks which the company does not like......so I am sitting here obssessing over it. Why can't they just learn to speak intelligibly...??!! Sure hope I don't get in trouble with this one ! As one old country saying goes.......I am as nervous as a cat in room full of rocking chairs !!

Aw CM3 don't worry so much!(don't you hate it when ppl say that?)as a fellow worrier I know it's hard not too!!! you reminded me of my grandmother with that saying, except she always said " I am as nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof!" good morning my friends. today is the Germany Unity National Holiday...it is really foggy and the first day that actually looks like fall...and I love this so so much....the temperature is the same as in the last few days I guess....havent been outside yet...anyhow....gon have me sum coffee now to really wake up

Guess what I had for the first time today? Bulmer's hard cider. My SIL brought some from Ireland two weeks ago!

Oh! Forgot to mention an interesting sighting! A friend of mine informed me last night that spotted some Egg Nog in a grocery store. Egg nog, already!

Hi all!!! Sorry been MIA for a few days but have been busy busy busy.
We went to the Scotland County Highland Games yesterday and I got wore out major. Came home and fell asleep on the love seat, all 5 ft 8 1/2 inches of me curled up in some seriously contorted postions. Woke up with a nasty crick in my neck and my back screaming for tylenol.

Tomorrow (oct 3) is gunna be a sort of rough day for Joe, his mom is going in again for more cancer mass removal from her lungs. The docs are not sure if they are gunna have to remove part of a lobe or a whole lobe as if yet. Please send prayers and warm thoughts her way.

I am staving off this cold as well as I can but it is beating me. I have done the soups and the cold meds and NOTHING is touching it. I guess my immune system is still reeling from my surgery and subsequent hospital stays since last month. I can not afford to be sick but if it comes it will come.

Hope joe.s mum will be ok. its a hard one. will keep her in y prayers and you take care as well .

PSSSST Wal-Mart here has already put out their eggnog AND holiday coffee creamers. I am sitting here right now having a cuppa with Peppermint Mocha in it. I also saw a local bakery shop selling their snowman eggnog cookies too.

Enjoy you lucky girl have to find this egg nog

Hey everyone & good morning! Last Thurs. after school @ my daughters school some of the JV football player & varsity were waiting on JV game to start & went across the road to a convenience store. This is typical as they are @ a smaller school & this store is almost like an extension of the school. Everyone knows everyone.This 14 year old boy on JV team was crossing back to the school & was hit by a car. Unfortunately there were some other team members just behind him & witnessed the whole thing. Some say they saw him get hit & etc.This poor little boy was airlifted I think, & passed away shortly after. This child was only 14!!!! This is a horrible tragedy & I can't imagine how his family & friends are coping with this. His funeral is this afternoon & I know lots of students will be attending. My daughter didn't know him personally but alot of her friends did. Nonetheless all the kids are mourning the loss of this little boy. The school had a game FRi. night & did a beautiful tribute to this young man. My daughter said it was very somber @ school on Fri. I would like to ask everyone to lift this young mans family, friends, & school up in your prayers today. Grab your child today & hug them just a little tighter.....that's exactly what I did.

Also, we found out our very close friends B&P are expecting! We are over the moon, as we have been pegged as aunt and uncle to the new baby/babies. Also because they have been trying for over 6 years, gone through every test and taken every medication possible and to have them tell us they were finally pregnant...well it was probably the best news we could've ever gotten! But they do think they could have twins or even triplets because they had put P on fertility meds to increase the chance of her getting pregnant. They are ecstatic though and so are we!

Yay! I have to buy the non dairy egg nog due to dairy allergies. It's not bad tasting but nothing like the real deal. I miss drinking REAL egg nog! Alcohol free, just like it by itself!

Sounds like me growing up and I still have a big time love for animals. When I was little my favorites toys to play with was stuffed animals and also loved looking at pictures of animals in books. I still have a book from when I was little that has pictures of baby animals. It was my favorite book.

That is terrible. So sorry to hear of this tragedy. A good friend of mine lost her son that way. He was hit by a police car. It still tears me up when I think about it. I feel so bad for her.

The weather has been great. The highs have only reached in the 80's which is very cool compared to the 100+ we had forever.

I have my Halloween decorations up and my front porch decorated as well.

Good morning everyone!
We had a good weekend. William had several time outs for hitting and having fits (terrible twos!). But the weekend was good. I swear I saw snow flurries yesterday. My house is decorated for Halloween and the decorations for Christmas are ready to go on November 1st. Cant wait to see all the kids in their costumes this year. We will have to go to the pumpkin patch and get a pumpkin this weekend. That's always fun. Just finished my coffee and that warmed me up! I have been playing my Christmas cd in the car when I come to work on these early mornings. PS anyone know where or how to turn off the oil light dinging in a 2000 dodge caravan? Its just the sensor messing up. Driving me NUTS! lol Have a good day everyone! Stay warm!

I guess I live in a good area as Peppermint Mocha creamer is available year-round cheesy

Fortunately, I am incapable of cheering for the Lions! So, I am hoping that these winning ways end soon. I guess that I'll have to wait and see how well the Packers do against them in November and December.

I am sitting in the living room with my Halloween decorations up, my Christmas garland lit and Christmas Wreath tart in the warmer and my furchildren Wish and Clancy sitting by me. There is a gentle fire in the fireplace. Smokey and Lily, the two felines are in the kitchen chowing down. All is quiet.....except inside my mind which is still wound very tight......Good Grief.......Heart is pounding like I just ran a race just from stress.....

I finally finished HP and The Deathly Hallows...I need a hero like Harry.
