Well, today I called the doctor's office and the surgeon's nurse checked my chart and said I would be off work for eight weeks!!!!! I almost fainted. Here I was expecting to go back to work right away. That would mean that I might not return to work until January 2012!!! .

Seawaters......praying you will make it through surgery on a breeze !! xoxo

Well, today was a day where anything that could go wrong went wrong. I now have to work tomorrow, some bigwigs are touring and I am not ready for the tour, I am so far behind. I will be leaving the house at 5:30am. I must head to bed.

Good evening, Christmas family !!

Not wound so tightly tonight. I was allowed to type a new radiology account this evening and guess what - Everyone speaks English, NO GOOBERS !! well........there is one doc who is on the verge of goobercytosis but I don't have him too much yet...... !!

Anyway it went a lot better !! I did 100 reports !!

A few seconds ago I decided to go ahead and pay a couple bills which are not yet due since I am up late......I went to pay my credit card and there was a message at the site which said I was not allowed to make a payment at this time !! What the Heck ??

So I promptly marched to the phone and discovered I already MADE the payment on Friday......Geesh !!! I didn't even remember. If I am like this now I might turn into a Goober myself one day...only I won't know it !!cheesy

Nani and I are going to the Hallmark ornament premiere Saturday .......I hope the weather is nice.

Everyone else here in the house is asleep (of course) Wish is on the ottoman at my feet in front of the fire, Clancy is "in my skin" sleeping as I type and the kitties.......Well they have their own agenda.

I had to share this....!!! I am sure you all have seen this.....this polar bear and a few of her companions came upon these Huskies and DID NOT HURT THEM......they cuddled them and played.......I just thought it was cute......xo

MORNING EVERYONE
weather is the usual here dull and looks like rain
was only on once yesterday as i had 2 pallets of toys and nursury
And all the toys had to be checked and the doll prams and bikes built
And one worker had to take his car for mot and the other helper has a chest infection and i told him to go home as my uncle who is 71 lives with me and i do not want him catching that, as he has a bad chest anyway
So got enough done to do hoepfully will get all sorted today
Was asked again for christmas stuff. am finding it hard this year as i dont no what to do, think i wll start and put the toys put next weekend and then get the christmas stuff in and sorted though the next week there is alful lot of it. and then get them out the followering weekend

Good Morning to all! I'm about to head off to work now, I would like for each of you to know I have seen the requests for prayers & wellness for family members/friends & I am praying for each of you. i've been eating healthier and snacking less over the last couple of months, it's going quite well, but i can't stop thinking of christmas food. roll on december!!! i plan on stuffing myself with christmas cakes and cookies, turkey dinners, chocolates, baileys, full english breakfasts, and starbucks christmas coffees. december is the month that the diet goes out of the window and i can't wait! cheesy

I wish I liked egg nog. :-( I tried it again last year, and still don't like it.

I wish I didn't like it since I can't drink it. =)

My SIL introduced me to Lactaid last night so I could have some spumoni. I couldn't believe the difference!! Now on to some Chunky Monkey which I haven't had since 1995!!!!!!

Lactaid will not work for me. I can't have dairy due to being allergic to it. :-? Lactaid is for lactose intolerant. Thanks for the info though! =)

got my turkey for Thanksgiving...Laura is making the potatoes, Lindsay the buns, Lisa the vegies, Ray is just inviting his friends so they can see who can eat the most!
Having this dinner on Saturday and the family dinner on Monday.
Going to be a great holiday weekend!

I have had surgery before that required me to be out 6 weeks but it ended up being a few months. Blah! I just could not seem to recover quickly. Good luck to you on your surgery! I will say a prayer.

My girlfriend prefers Fall/Spring due to to the mid-range temperatures. Personally, I prefer the extremes. I love Summer and Winter!

If you want extreme Summer, come to Texas! You will never want it again. :wink:

Thanks for posting Halloween schedule as well. I did see that there was some on but I don't remember all the times. I better look it up.

When it comes to Christmas goodies, QVC has the best and HSN has the best Halloween goodies. (my opinion anyway) =)

I should be staying at home today and working on organization and stock, but I have a monster of a headache again and so I am going to go to town and take a walk on the rail trail - the fresh air will do me good and I will get to some local color. Maybe the local thrift store will have put out some of the Christmas loot they have been teasing about for the past month. Love this time of year!

I don't like Egg Nog either. I try it every year and I never grow to like it. But, it's great to hear/see that the stores are already stocked!

I'll bet if you tried my homemade eggnog you would change your mind! Most of the stuff sold in cartons in the store really is not very good.

Good morning everyone! Pinesday tomorrow! I will be there in my Halloween costume. LOL.

Just sitting here at work. Dead this morning. Drinking...yes..Coffee! 2nd cup so far. They were talking on the radio saying its too early to see Halloween stuff. Wait. Are they nuts? I think so. Ill have to take a trip to walmart and see if they have any Christmas stuff out (more pictures for the Christmas Blossoms thread!). Still waiting on a call to see if I have the job. Seems like I have difficulty finding time on the least busiest days. I haven't done a whole lot today - just hang around the house. But, I was always doing something, so I guess I was somewhat busy.
