Please pray for both these families as they grieve the loss of a family member.
My prayers are on the way.

Good to see you here and hope you post often!I have not posted much in this thread, but going to try to keep up with it, it moves so fast!
I always enjoyed hanging out with my parents too!I actually hung out with my parents a lot when I was a teenager and when I would come home from college for breaks. They would always get together with their crazy friends and have the best parties...I had a blast (and still do!) with them! =)
I am so very sorry for your loss. I will say a prayer.Yesterday a dear lady at our church lost her battle with cancer. I know she is now with the Lord, safe and happy, but I will sure miss Marilyn's smile on Sunday mornings!
An hour ago I received news that a sweet young man who rode my bus died this morning. He was only 14 years old. He had MD and was in the hospital with pneumonia. James was such a sweetheart.

Mine is on too but that is common here to run it until early November. =(It's october and I have my air conditioner on. Something is wrong with that.

Okay I'm watching Bethlehem lights on QVC and I'm wondering if Michelle ever gets tired of setting up this christmas tree. I mean it might be fun the first couple hunderd times but after that I have a feeling that it would get kind of old.
I spoke to Harlowe's vet yesterday, and her basic cbc labs look good- a real improvement. Unfortunately, her pre liver function test shows an increase in the enzyme count. Of course, we still need to re-do the post part of the test to get accurate results. But, she feels we need to put her back on the liver function meds. Bummer, but we will do whatever we have to do to get her well again.
That was real nice of your husband he sounds like a very caring person.
I did not know that about Goldens, I will have to check on my girl, Snickers is a golden. I am very glad it is benign, that must have been a weight off your mind. I will still keep her in my thoughts.
I don't think I mentioned but Wayne ended up having to go to the doctor yesterday. Just when he thought he was doing better he got sick again! They ran blood work and the good news is it's just viral and the doctor said it will run it's course and he should be just fine. He has not eaten well for almost a week and finally getting a little appetite back.
My niece has an allergic reaction to just about everything they have put her on. Most of them have been steroids so that's what they thought it was last time. Since they didn't give her steroids yesterday though we know it's the remicade this time.
My nephew got refereed onto a surgeon. He has been in physical therapy for the last 2 years and his eyes have improved but they still wander some times. The eye doctor doesn't know if the surgeon will want to operate for sure but thinks they probably will.
LOL! Well, nothing at the moment...we are going to drop off the contract and the deposit at the Yorktowne tomorrow, so it will be officially official!! We are so excited!! Other than that, I'm going to make some dress appointments for next Friday so one of my matrons of honor can go with me, and then there's a bridal expo on the 26th so I'm excited about that! Thanks for asking! =)
So a three day weekend not sure what I am going to do, was thinking of heading to PA, the Bangor area... Well, see what hubby is up too if he can get off Monday too...
Check out the email that my friends Mom sent to her this morning & my friend in turn fwd it to me:
Thought I'd let you know what I read in the Lima paper this morning........ it's supposed to be an awful winter - a couple blizzards and very cold, especially Dec. and Jan. It all has something to do with the warmth of Lake Erie and the equator, too. The Midwest is really supposed to get hit!!!
Sounds like it could be an interesting winter!
TGIF, Christmas friends!!
It is a beautiful, sunny fall day- high of 68 degrees here. I'm looking forward to some rest & relaxation this weekend after a busy & stressful work week! My company had to lay off a friend of mine, I feel so bad for her. You see things like that every once in awhile, but it never gets any easier. Hopefully things will turn around soon.
On a happier note, I am getting excited about the Christmas Card exchange!! I wonder how many people are signed up so far?!
Can't believe we are down to just 78 DAYS!!! YAY!
Well, break time is almost over...
I hope everyone has a beautiful weekend!!
:}

The Pens are my #2 team (actually 1b), I have followed them since the 80's. I am a huge Mario Lemieux fan, I still have his jersey in my closet. We named one of our cats Sidney after Sidney Crosby. My B's will always be my favorite but the Pen's are right up there.
Good to see you here and hope you post often!
I always enjoyed hanging out with my parents too!
My daughter is grown with her own family and we still enjoy hanging out as often as we can.
I am so very sorry for your loss. I will say a prayer.
