It's october and I have my air conditioner on. Something is wrong with that.

I have not posted much in this thread, but going to try to keep up with it, it moves so fast!
Good to see you here and hope you post often!
I actually hung out with my parents a lot when I was a teenager and when I would come home from college for breaks. They would always get together with their crazy friends and have the best parties...I had a blast (and still do!) with them! =)
I always enjoyed hanging out with my parents too!

My daughter is grown with her own family and we still enjoy hanging out as often as we can.
Yesterday a dear lady at our church lost her battle with cancer. I know she is now with the Lord, safe and happy, but I will sure miss Marilyn's smile on Sunday mornings!

An hour ago I received news that a sweet young man who rode my bus died this morning. He was only 14 years old. He had MD and was in the hospital with pneumonia. James was such a sweetheart.

Please pray for both these families as they grieve the loss of a family member.
I am so very sorry for your loss. I will say a prayer.

Okay I'm watching Bethlehem lights on QVC and I'm wondering if Michelle ever gets tired of setting up this christmas tree. I mean it might be fun the first couple hunderd times but after that I have a feeling that it would get kind of old.

Well my Niece went to school and made it all day but when she got home my sister noticed that she has started to break out in the rash again.:-(

That is really sad Christmasstar, sorry to hear that Prayers go out to those families.

Thanks Christmas-A-Holic, going to try to keep up with this thread, a little lost on some of it but will catch up eventually lol

Just turned the TV to QVC, just caught the end of the Bethlehem lights stuff, very cool looking stuff, will have to look for it next time they have it on, but now Tony Robbins is on there promoting his new books bleh :(

I spoke to Harlowe's vet yesterday, and her basic cbc labs look good- a real improvement. Unfortunately, her pre liver function test shows an increase in the enzyme count. Of course, we still need to re-do the post part of the test to get accurate results. But, she feels we need to put her back on the liver function meds. Bummer, but we will do whatever we have to do to get her well again.

I will continue to pray for you and Harlowe!

That was real nice of your husband he sounds like a very caring person.

I did not know that about Goldens, I will have to check on my girl, Snickers is a golden. I am very glad it is benign, that must have been a weight off your mind. I will still keep her in my thoughts.

He is, thanks! As for Goldens, I had heard that before, then like I said, the vet had told me that the other day. I just hope she continues to do okay.

I don't think I mentioned but Wayne ended up having to go to the doctor yesterday. Just when he thought he was doing better he got sick again! They ran blood work and the good news is it's just viral and the doctor said it will run it's course and he should be just fine. He has not eaten well for almost a week and finally getting a little appetite back.

Was glad to see later down on in the thread that SIT is feeling better! Wish my good thoughts to him!

My niece has an allergic reaction to just about everything they have put her on. Most of them have been steroids so that's what they thought it was last time. Since they didn't give her steroids yesterday though we know it's the remicade this time.

My nephew got refereed onto a surgeon. He has been in physical therapy for the last 2 years and his eyes have improved but they still wander some times. The eye doctor doesn't know if the surgeon will want to operate for sure but thinks they probably will.

Will continue to keep your entire family in my prayers. I was sad to see that she was starting to react again once she got home from school today. May she soon find something to keep her at peace.

LOL! Well, nothing at the moment...we are going to drop off the contract and the deposit at the Yorktowne tomorrow, so it will be officially official!! We are so excited!! Other than that, I'm going to make some dress appointments for next Friday so one of my matrons of honor can go with me, and then there's a bridal expo on the 26th so I'm excited about that! Thanks for asking! =)

Sounds so exciting! Keep us updated!

So a three day weekend not sure what I am going to do, was thinking of heading to PA, the Bangor area... Well, see what hubby is up too if he can get off Monday too...

Have a nice weekend! If you do decide to go away, have a safe trip!

Check out the email that my friends Mom sent to her this morning & my friend in turn fwd it to me:

Thought I'd let you know what I read in the Lima paper this morning........ it's supposed to be an awful winter - a couple blizzards and very cold, especially Dec. and Jan. It all has something to do with the warmth of Lake Erie and the equator, too. The Midwest is really supposed to get hit!!!

Sounds like it could be an interesting winter!

I love the snow, but not crazy about all the blizzards - I am in Pa, so I could be getting so of it too - we usually have some bad winters. Since I am a RN, we will work in whatever, so I will always have to drive in that stuff. UGH!

TGIF, Christmas friends!!

It is a beautiful, sunny fall day- high of 68 degrees here. I'm looking forward to some rest & relaxation this weekend after a busy & stressful work week! My company had to lay off a friend of mine, I feel so bad for her. You see things like that every once in awhile, but it never gets any easier. Hopefully things will turn around soon.

On a happier note, I am getting excited about the Christmas Card exchange!! I wonder how many people are signed up so far?!
Can't believe we are down to just 78 DAYS!!! YAY!

Well, break time is almost over...
I hope everyone has a beautiful weekend!!

:}

Can't believe we're only 78 days away either! Love your new sig pic!

Hockey season is underway, watched an awesome game last night, Penguins won in a shootout (I'm a fanatic Pittsburgh Penguins fan lol) I'm a Steelers fan too, but they are not doing good this year, lots of great games on this weekend too, really looking forward to watching sports and relaxing and getting some work done on my website and hanging out on here this weekend!

So glad to find another Pens/Steelers fan on here. I am a diehard fan!

I will keep these families in my prayers!

Hi Christmas family! Just dropping by real quick! I have to work at 11 tonight - it's my weekend to work. I think I am going to make a buffalo chicken dip and take in to snack on. Tomorrow right after I get home from work, we are going to the last fall festival in my area. There's not a whole lot new here. I've just been busy at work and home here with the kids. I will try to check back in tonight. If not, talk to you all tomorrow and have a great evening!

Next to Christmas, Pens hockey is my biggest obsession lol :cheesy: Awesome to know another Pens fan is here too!

You sound exactly like me! It is sometimes hard for me to catch the game because of working nights and depending on what time the game is and how tired I am, I sometimes need to get nap in before I go to work, but I try to watch them. I grew up in a house where my dad NEVER missed a game and still doesn't.

The Pens are my #2 team (actually 1b), I have followed them since the 80's. I am a huge Mario Lemieux fan, I still have his jersey in my closet. We named one of our cats Sidney after Sidney Crosby. My B's will always be my favorite but the Pen's are right up there.

It would be my dream job, getting paid to put up a Christmas tree, that sounds perfect to me. cheesy

I rooted for the Bruins after the Pens were eliminated by Tampa Bay in the playoffs last season, was awesome to see Mark Recchi who won a Stanley Cup with the Pens back in 91 win another one to top off his career!

Good evening,

I fell asleep while I was tucking LC into bed, now I feel totally exhausted. Just watching Transformers 2 since there is nothing on right now. Tomorrow is supposed to be in the 80's, I am so sick of warm temps. I am ready for the fall crisp air to be here. Back to work in the morning.

Have a great night.

And with this post, CAH is poster #21,300. For her efforts, she wins a brand-new fax (just got it this morning) advertising vacation packages with airfare included!!! How lucky can you get???

Good to see you here and hope you post often!
