Afternoon ( i think) cm3 thanks for asking about dogs they are 100 % its scoobys birthday today hes 10 and he got little treats all day

I've missed you guys. Hope you all are having a nice Sunday!
It has been a nice, relaxing weekend.
Harlowe & I have just been hanging out, watching movies, and going on evening walks with our friends next door. We are very luck to have great neighbors on one side of us that we can call friends. They have 4 dogs, and Harlowe is especially close to one named Petunia "Toony". She is a Chorkie (chihuahua-yorkie mix) & they have play dates at least a couple times a week. It's too cute!
It is still quite hot here, highs of 94 today. I hear that Wednesday is supposed to bring in some cooler temperatures. Heck, I'll take 80's at this point
My fingers are crossed!
I was just on It's A Wonderful Movie Blogspot, and an updated Christmas TV Schedule is listed. I's so excited!!! Didn't know if I could post a link or not, but just wanted to share that with you all in case you didn't know. Check it out :smile:

Good evening/morning...checking in late - or early...depending how you look at it. Lol!
It has been a bad day here. 1st I got word that our friends Dad passed away. My hubby was at their house helping put on roof. He has been sick & this was not a surprise, but still sad. Less than an hour later I got a call saying that our friends 3 year old daughter was killed in a car accident. The parents (our friends) were out of town with her family celebrating her parents 50th wedding anniversary & the kids were with their cousin. Well of all people - an illegal immigrant whose drivers license has been revoked - pulled out infront of them, sending their 2 boys to Childrens hospital (but they are going to be ok) & killing their little sister. My heart is heavy tonight!We really do need to count our blessing every day & ENJOY every minute with our loved ones!
Speaking of - tomorrow my hubby's family is coming over to celebrate my inlaws 40th wedding anniversary. I'm really looking forward to it!

More color in the leaves and more chill in the air today. Had a frustrating morning with the computer, working with the clips we want to put in this year's Christmas DVD. Everything I put into iMovie comes out with digital blotches (color banding), especially the B&W clips, and Googling the problem tells me "that's just the way it is." Maybe after the first of the year I can look for a different video editing software. But we went out and had a nice lunch, and I'm looking forward to some relaxation this evening. Back to work tomorrow---makes me a little jittery going back to work after four sick days, 'cause I have to hit the ground running AND get up to speed with what's going on at the same time, and fill in my last two weeks' timesheets. But I'll be back in the groove pretty quickly and looking forward to next Friday!

It has been a long weekend, but I got a lot done so I should be all set for work this coming week. I have a lead on a full-time job with benefits to check into, other than that, it will be the same old same old.

Good Sunday evening Christmas family!!had a nice relaxing day after the housework was done. everbody pitched in so it went like a breeze. i'm still learning all the different things on this site & i don't know how to friend anyone. if i did i would end up friending all of you. some have sent requests to me but i don't know how to do it myself. anyone got any pointers?
Another reason to be thankful. Rest in peace to Dan Wheldon, two-time Indy 500 winner. He past away this afternoon due to unsurvivable injuries in a crash at Las Vegas Speedway. I met Dan on one occasion and he was nothing but a tremendous and loving person. As a fan of open-wheel racing, the sport and world has lost a truly great human being today.
Rest in peace, Dan. You will be missed by your family, friends, fans, and the entire world. Thank you for the memories.

Good Sunday night! I am sitting on the couch eating provalone and roast beef sand.kind of dreading the week ahead. Work is going good but I can't wait to retire and not have to dread sunday nights! anyhow..things are getting very exciting around here...I can feel the baby kick now,and he does all the time. We go to the Dr tuesday and I am kind of worrying about what will say because she is having bad time with her feet swelling and her back has really been hurting too,We have 10 weeks left so it is the home strech! I hope everyone has a great night and good monday!!!
It being hot chocolate weather again, I just made up a batch of marshmallows. The homemade ones taste so good in hot chocolate!

A coming baby is so exciting! My last weeks with my son saw me sleeping in the recliner for the same reason, sore back and swollen feet. It helped.

Speaking of sandwiches- made hubby a huge egg and cheese sandwich for lunch and he is taking a tuna salad on toast for his dinner tonight at work. Church was wonderful today, the music was beautiful and in like 5 weeks they will be doing hanging of the greens over there. But as soon as we get back from the beach on the 30th of this month, we are pulling all our Christmas goodies out and I am going to get started putting those up over the weeks following halloween. It is AWESOME to think our house is going to start having those smells and the lights flashing and twinkling. AHHH the season is upon us. I sincerly hope that everyone is doing good right now. My heart and prayers goes out to all those who have lost loved ones. I was reading about the little girl who got killed by an illegal immegrant- sad and makes me angry alot that some children barely have a chance to live then their little lives are snuffed out. But know that she and all those who have passed on are in the loving embrace of our lord and savior. Her family will see her again, but hopefully not too soon.
I am off to work in the morning, thank goodness. I have been getting cabin fever just sitting around the house. I made a mistake on my sub profile and was not getting any calls, but it is fixed now. I will however have to ravel longer distances but will not do the longer distances unless I am guaranteed a whole day of 6 to 7 hours. Tomorrow it is a 10 minute drive and only 4 to 4 1/2 hours. So not complaining. Ok off to torture the cat. LOL!!! Kidding.......

I have a wonderful weekend, thanks! The Halloween party was okay. It got kind of lame as the night went on. There weren't a whole lot of people there that we knew, so that made it kind of boring, but it was still nice to get out! Hope you're getting a wonderful weekend!

Go to User CP (one of the top tabs), then click on the side: contact and friends, then it will bring up your friends. If you want to add someone: down toward the bottom of the page, it says: Add member to your list - type the username of the person you want to be your friend. Then click the tab add friend. Make sure you also click the tab save changes.
I saw that wreck. It was very scary. Prayers go out to the family!
