Days to Christmas Day: 69
Under Four weeks away from the Season, now!

Warmer for our walk this morning at 63 degrees.
It should be nice and dry today and tomorrow.
Two good opportunities to see the State Fair.

Hmmm.....
Am I getting the feeling that an Autumn Opera is in the works or is it just lack of sleep?

daughter goes to neurologist today for results on her MRI & blood work. i have faith that there's nothing wrong. i'm praying & hoping it will be migraines she inherited from me, grandma, & great grandma. don't mean i pray something bad is wrong, just do not want it to be worse, i can treat migraines w/ meds & the dr. says she could grow out of them.
please remember my baby girl in your prayers. she's 15 but she's still my baby!

I will keep your daughter in my prayers, merrymistletoe!

Good morning, everyone!

Monday morning. Another work week begins and brings us closer to Christmas. A week from now, there will be less than three weeks until the Christmas Season. Now, we sit at four. Amazing!

In Christmas news, I have been noticing a few facebook statuses mentioning that "It's too early for Christmas decorations in stores!" I like it. I guess that most of the stores in Ottawa have gotten a jump on the Season. If Kim and I have a free evening this week, we will more than likely head to Rideau Centre and discover more displays. Blackberry camera in hand, of course! If not this weekend, I guess there is also the weekend. Hard to believe that it will be October 22nd and 23rd this weekend. The second last weekend of October.

The weather is cold and rainy here in Ottawa. It's getting close to snow temperatures today! This morning, it was 6C (43F). Snow is only a few degrees away! Highs are to be in the lower teens/doube digits or low 50s for the week. Perhaps, next week those temperatures will be single digits!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!!!! It's going to be a beautiful day here in central Indy. I have my normal daily chores to get done and then I need to spend some time cleaning out my bedroom closet. I'm terrible about not hanging up my clothes. I just fold them and stick them on the shelf in my closet but now I need the shelf to stack christmas gifts. I'm also trying to help my sister fix her computer over the phone. She was complaining that her internet wouldn't work so I had her reset her modems. Now she's complaining that her monitor won't even turn on. So I don't know what she did. Well I'm off to get some stuff done. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Sunday night! I am sitting on the couch eating provalone and roast beef sand.kind of dreading the week ahead. Work is going good but I can't wait to retire and not have to dread sunday nights! anyhow..things are getting very exciting around here...I can feel the baby kick now,and he does all the time. We go to the Dr tuesday and I am kind of worrying about what will say because she is having bad time with her feet swelling and her back has really been hurting too,We have 10 weeks left so it is the home strech! I hope everyone has a great night and good monday!!!

I'm sorry she's not feeling 100%, but I remember these exciting times!

Actually the day is not too bad,It's almost lunch time in an hour.,so I guess the day is going by fast. Only 4 more days until the weekend! Ugh that did not make me feel any better...Oh and Brad,I have tried to get hooked on Coffee but I just can't get it! I prefer Pepsi first thing in the morning!!!

I just remembered I have to give my bulldog a bath today when I get home..he weights 125 pounds and HATES baths...we have to do it outside of course..I only give him about 3 to 4 baths a year,but I he never stinks..but he does need one before winter comes since we do it with a water hose..he will hate me today but will get over it!hehe

I hope nothing wrong shows up. Migraines are terrible, but at least they're something that can be dealt with fairly easily.

I just have to stop right here right now & say something to everyone on this site...as I'm sitting here by my computer & reading all your posts, total silence in my home, I'm getting choked up. this is the 1st forum I've ever belonged to & every single one of you are so awesome. ya' know it's hard to become close to people you've never met but ya'll really feel genuine in every post I've read. I don't know maybe I'm a bit emotional this morning but thank you, each & every one of you, for being so thoughtful & kind. ya'll will never know what it means to me. having such a wonderful place to come to where others love Christmas as much as I do & a love for family & friends is obvious @ every turn. thank you from the bottom of my heart!

This place and the people in it ARE so special. I had some weirdness when I first logged on this morning (every time I clicked a link, it wanted me to log in again), and I was beginning to get upset by thinking that I might not be able to "visit" today due to technical difficulties. So you Christmas neighbors are very important to me, too!

I don't even drink any caffeine. The most I ever get is from chocolate (hot or bar). I swear, I can't even eat chocolate at night without being unable to sleep, I'm that sensitive to it.

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

I had another busy weekend working at my father-in-law's store. I generally work every other Saturday so he can have a weekend off. This was my regular weekend to work, but I'm also working next weekend so I can be off the following weekend to go to the mountains. Busy, busy!

My feet were really hurting after standing up all day at the store, so that night I went home and stuck my feet in the pool. Wow, that was some COLD water! But about 15 minutes of that and they didn't hurt anymore...as a matter of fact, I couldn't feel anything below my ankles!

Yesterday afternoon, my son and I went out to our hunting spot that we planted with rye grass last week. After all the rain we got last week, the rye is really growing. And there are lots of deer tracks in the freshly plowed soil. It might be a good season!
