Good Morning everyone ... its a chilly but beautiful brisk morning here.... as the days get closer and closer my anticipation for the holidays is ever so increasing by leaps and bounds. My schedule has been hectic these past couple months (temporary change in hubbys work schedule, football and cheerleading practices) but things are calming down and are heading back to normal just in time for the holidays.... :-D

Hello all! Long time, no post! I have been very busy the last week...also I have had the flu since the weekend and on doctors orders, I am off work the entire week. I guess I would be enjoying it if I could stop coughing, having headaches, and awful stomach pains. In fact, this is the best I've felt since Sunday and I still feel like h-e-double hockey sticks!! Ugh. I have missed you all though, very much so.

I hope you are better soon!!! Beautiful dresses, btw, I can see how each of them would have something you really love/like about them!

I hope this finds everyone well and happy!!

My goodness, I am so unmotivated this morning! All I want to do is go back to bed, but I have to change out part of my wardrobe and find my winter coat. That means I have a lot of moving of boxes to do, so I had best get going as I still have to work today. Ugh - I need more hours in the day :lol:

I am going to listen to some new Christmas music I found at one of the thrift stores I frequent - that will surely motivate me!

I got an interview at a local trucking company for a chance to drive a straight truck. Most of it is just local with some overnight trips.
Next week Wednesday morning I go for an interview and a road test.

Nothing special today, it's just Thursday. Christmas is coming so fast, I feel like I'm behind in organizing my card list and the small bit of shopping I have yet to do. I'm going to take a day off the week before Thanksgiving, so maybe I can devote that to Christmas planning and tasks, and loading up an MP3 player with Christmas music for the season.

I did get some exciting news when I got home, we may be going to New York City in December to see the Christmassy sights, and shopping. I have always wanted to go to NYC to see the decorations, and the city itself. :???:

Just a quick note till morningas one of my daughters is still sick. and I just wanna get a few hours rest. on a happy note, another one of my Daughters is going to be in a christmas play here at our local theater titled "A Carol's Christmas" it's a modern day A Christmas carol we are very proud of her!!!

I don't have much planned for this afternoon...I think. I better check with my wife to see what I have planned before I say that! She went to Hobby Lobby with her sister, her mom and our daughter yesterday and brought me back some extra-crispy KFC!! Yippee! I finally got my KFC chicken! (Did I mention I like that stuff?)

It’s Thursday! The work week is almost complete! I woke up this morning with “It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas” in my head. What a start to the day. Unfortunately, it looks nothing like Christmas outside. It’s about 10C, raining and winds are a steady 50 km/h with gusts reaching 70+ km/h! That’s about 35-48 mph!

Thanks to Crown for adding a Halloween component to the countdown! It definitely makes those 24 days seem a lot closer. Still, 24 days is not very far away. Glad to see the Christmas Season begins on a Saturday this year, too! I could not think of a better day of the week to usher in our favourite time of the year!

Not much is happening with me. A little busy at work, but it should pickup next week when I begin doing my real job. Right now, I am just answering inquiries… and I am afraid that I have answered all of the ones I can for now!

Well, there just over an hour until lunch. My favourite time of the workday! Have a great Thursday, everyone!

I did get some exciting news when I got home, we may be going to New York City in December to see the Christmassy sights, and shopping. I have always wanted to go to NYC to see the decorations, and the city itself.

That is so exciting! There is nothing, absolutely NOTHING like NYC at Christmas!! Hoping DF and I can go there this year, but with our money situation, that might not be possible.

All I can do is ask anyone who cares about animals.please please read up on this story and let the officials in Ohio know that an investigation is in order on how this was carried out. The last straw for me was looking at the news and they were even showing pics of the slaughtered animals. I will get off my soapbox now. Oh and this was my 10,000th post I think...wish it was on a better topic!:-?

I agree with you and CM3, I was so angry when I read about this yesterday! I thought they may have tried a stun gun or something first before outright KILLING them! Like someone else here said (sorry, I can't remember who!) - it's not the animals fault that they got out...they were probably just scared and not knowing where to go. I think I might actually go and say something as well, dawg...that was just downright unfair.

Good Morning, friends!

It is gorgeous weather here, mid 60's right now, with a high around 80 degrees. Loving it!

Harlowe has her 2nd part of the liver function test (vet appointment) tomorrow morning. I hope all goes well, and their technicians don't screw up this time =) I just want her well and happy again. She was very excited to see my husband last night, who had been away on business.

We had a nice relaxing morning, watched Home Alone on Encore family & ate breakfast on the patio.

I must go to Kohl's over my lunch break & use up my Kohl's bucks before they expire! I've got my eyes on another village piece :grin:

and the topic came up about snow tyres. i have heard they are good but dont no anyone that actually had them last year
Any one know any thing about then and are they worth the money and bother of changing tyres.
Got my two pallets in and sorted and priced
And have decided over the weekend.saturday night and sunday an gonna put the christmas stuff out. So it will be out for monday morning. still have 5 pallets yet not counting tree,s so guess i wood need to do something.
Gonna take it easy the rest of the night so will be checking in and out

Had a cataract taken off my left eye Tuesday so I missed a couple of days of work. Still waiting for vision to return to normal.

Great weather here. Currently 43 after a low of 38 at our house. A little snow on the mountain tops.
