Harlowe has her 2nd part of the liver function test (vet appointment) tomorrow morning. I hope all goes well, and their technicians don't screw up this time =) I just want her well and happy again. She was very excited to see my husband last night, who had been away on business.

I pray all will go well for Harlowe!
Had a
cataract taken off my left eye Tuesday so I missed a couple of days of work. Still waiting for vision to return to normal.

Great weather here. Currently 43 after a low of 38 at our house. A little snow on the mountain tops.

Have a great day everyone.

I hope you have a quick recovery - I will keep you in my prayers!

Good early afternoon all! I just scarfed down my turkey salad sandwhich and am reading my emails before I get back to work. Another busy busy day,but at least it is making the day go by quick. I will try to catch up with the rest of the posts when I get home tonight after 5... Have a great afternoon all! oh and its a beautiful day..temps is mid 50's and windy and not a cloud in the sky!!

That is very beautiful weather you are having - I hope it is like that here tomorrow cheesy

Tomorrow morning I have getting a mammogram to look forward to. As our beloved Britt says "Yipppee"........Nothing like having part of your body crushed until you want to cry early in the morning......!!

I pray all goes well, CM3!

hey my friends. i hope u guys are doing great. I am and going to have some chicken wings now...holla

Hey, track!

Good afternoon!

Break time cheesy

I am so sleepy - rainy days do that to me, though. I still have a few hours to work and then I can relax and read for the rest of the evening - I started a new mystery series by Rita Mae Brown yesterday and it is rather slow going. Hopefully things will pick up.

Have a MERRY evening!!!!!!!!!!!

I must go to Kohl's over my lunch break & use up my Kohl's bucks before they expire! I've got my eyes on another village piece

Nice! Be sure to take some photos! The Christmas Blossoms thread could use them!

Had a cataract taken off my left eye Tuesday so I missed a couple of days of work. Still waiting for vision to return to normal.
Here's hoping it returns to full soon!!

First... Christmas Angel... Well, I knew it was going to SMOOTH!!! One of the Mom's is going to pull her children from the play if she doesn't get to do the roll f the young girl for the entire production. Mind you it is a pretty big part, the whole idea we had was to have as many little ones in it as we can. The family contributes A LOT to the Church, I am not sure what the Pastor will do, it is too awful for words. She had the nerve to show up last night and say we RUINED Christmas for everyone by doing this Knock Off Of a Christmas Carol!!! I was SOOOOOO mad, well words not too polite came to my mind but I held my mouth shut. Our Pastor he is awesome, he said that he was sorry she felt that way, he did not want to see her children (he said their names) punished because of her lack of vision!!!! She got so mad at that she cut him off and said well, see if we contribute this year, and walked out. How ugly. We have a soup kitchen there and I know her family bought the new stove 2 years ago, they donate the Christmas Tree, and a lot of money I am sure, but that doesn't mean you get special treatment - you are suppose to give because it feels good, not because it gets you things or special treatment. I mean I will tell you all this, but when the soup kitchen needed a new floor I got the flooring guy to do it - the church members thought it was a gift from the flooring contractor but it wasn't my husband and I paid for it, the Pastor knew but we told him not to say anything. The contactor was nice no profit just the materials and labor (the guys are regular people too and need their paychecks) and the gift every year my husband and I buy a lot of them the Pastor gives us the list no one knows, I don't say well I want a pew to myself or my dog has to be in this years play (for those who do not know I do not have children). I mean come on, who does she think she is!!! UGHHHHH!!! Sorry everyone I needed to get that off my chest, my husband doesn't get it he just is like don't worry about her, but I am worried and I really do not know why...

Thanks...
I cannot believe egotistical and self-centered people like this... especially if they consider themselves "religious." All I can do is shake my head. I just don't understand how some people comprehend their own thoughts and beliefs while acting so childish. I am sure that the play would be better off, anyway. All the power to your Pastor!

Thanks for the heads up - I didn't know it was starting on a Saturday that is WAY cool news!!!
You're welcome. I didn't either, until I looked today. Now I know that I will have plenty of time putting up the lights that night... If they aren't already up, that is.

Good afternoon,Christmas family !!

It is cool, actually kind of cold today, and it is PERFECT.

Just biding my time until work. I want to clarify something. I did not mean to attack anyone's beliefs or anything with my statements about the animals. I still feel the way I stated but I hope I did not cause hard feelings. I am pretty radical about just a few things in my life, animal rights being one of them. If I offended anyone, please accept my apology ((HUGS)) xo

Anyway, I hope all are doing well. Tomorrow is Friday for most everyone here. Today is my Friday. Tomorrow morning I have getting a mammogram to look forward to. As our beloved Britt says "Yipppee"........Nothing like having part of your body crushed until you want to cry early in the morning......!!

Here is a cute image and of course ....I had to share it with my Christmas family.

funny-dog-pictures-are-you-photoshopped.jpg

^^^I love this pic, CM3!! Cute & hilarious! ^^^
I will be thinking of you tomorrow morning- good luck! xo
I agree with you about the animals in Ohio. Those poor, innocent creatures didn't have a chance. They were probably so frightened, it all just breaks my heart. Heaven just got some more angels.

Now don't you go knocking anyone over this time!!! Tee Hee J/K!!! Have fun I love picking out new village pieces!!!

I tried not to, LB- but they should've just got out of my way!!! Hahaha!!! cheesy

I bought the Donut Shop, and it's super cute! I love it when they have little windows on the buildings, and you can peer inside.

When do you start setting yours up?

Hey ho everybody!!

So today. Climbed up to feed the birds and discovered there was ice on the shed roof. Yep, thought it was cold!!! Got my hair done at lunchtime; 2 hours later discovered that "wild fox" is the new "rich mouse". Don't look any different but my pocket is lighter!!!!!!!! Took the dogs out and Jacob caught a hedgehog.......again........in point of fact, I think it's the same dumb hedgehog he caught last month!! We got Jacob to drop it and we walked off and it walked off - happy ending!!!!

Enjoyed going to bed with my book and hot chocolate so much last night............I'm throwing caution to the wind and am doing it again tonight - somebody stop me; the excitement could be too much...........

OH - talking of excitement, turns out I won a competition!!! I won 2 tickets to a movie premiere, complete with celebrity drinks reception first. Can't go!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's on Tuesday in Manchester and I'm a couple of 100 miles away with no way to get there!!!!!!!! Ah well, will just have to wait until it comes out here......it's The Help, if that means anything to anybody!!!

Okay, I'm off, see you tomorrow!! :))

I am so glad to hear you are enjoying it...

Hmmm, dunno why the other thing you responded to didn't show up here, but yeah, I'm sure that's what it was with Gunner. After realizing he wasn't gonna stop, I went out to the living room and he's been okay since. Still whining, but not nearly as much before. I guess it's just hard for me because I'm MUCH more of a cat person than a dog person, and usually I'm not home this much during the day (we leave him in the finished basement when we're both at work), so I'm not sure how to deal with him. Plus, being sick on top of it is not helping in the least!

Nice! Be sure to take some photos! The Christmas Blossoms thread could use them!

You know, I work at both Kohl's and Hallmark and I forget to take pictures all the time. I should be ashamed of myself! :(

Awww Maureen, that sucks you can't go! I've heard The Help is a great movie!!

OMG!!! Look how behind I am!!! Holy Christmas Bows how am I ever going to keep up... HA, HA, HA... I love it though. Remember about a month ago Made it the 20,000 post mark now look at where we are, I said we would reach 33,333 now I think I should re-think that!!! Christmas Bows & Ribbons, I need to read all the posts...

So sorry you are going through this, LB. I cannot believe the nerve of some people!! What is wrong with them?! I mean, what a role model for her children... So sad that she's behaving like this regarding a Christmas production with children involved. I think you & your Pastor handled the situation beautifully, you both took the high road. Maybe a miracle will happen, she'll come to her senses and apologize for her behavior. Good luck, feel better, and keep us posted. Sending hugs! xo

Thanks...

Oh a good note.... We had a HUGE meeting here today; all went great on my floors!!! Can I here a WHOOOOP WHOOOOP, there it is BABY!!!! My boss said I can put up my Christmas Tree (we even have electric to turn the lights on) he said it was because of my organization we are doing so well, but it is him and my Site Super who are doing a lot too!!! But, it sure feels good to be noticed.

Whoooop, Whoooop!! cheesy

Now let me go catch up...

Good evening everyone! Hope everyone had a great day today! Only one more day till the weekend! :???:

Got a little behind on everything on this thread, since last night my net has been cutting out every few minutes.

My internet issues continue to make getting anything done online extremely frustrating, thankfully Verizon is scheduled to be here tomorrow afternoon and fix whatever line issues is causing it.

Hope everyone has a great evening filled with the joy and spirit of Christmas and I will catch up tomorrow after Verizon fixes my line issues :tree:

ok, i've (not really me, but my daughter, hubby, & sons fiance) tried to post pics & nothing works. why does it seem so easy for ya'll & i can't figure out nothing. i guess i won't be able to add to the cheer w/ pics. oh well.

hope ya'll had a good day today.
my mama broke her foot 2 nights ago. she waited till the next morning to go to doc, then the day after that for a bone doc to put it in a cast. my mama is a tiny little lady & she looks just pitiful with that cast. there's 2 flights of stairs in her home & doc said she can't be on it @ all, so my son is going back & forth in the a.m. & p.m. to take her down & up the stairs. she lives very close so that's no big deal. but i hate it so bad for her, she's def not someone to sit around the house.
only 1 more work day til the weekend, yaay! have alot i need to do so we'll see how much i get done. ha!:tree:

I have been wondering when a post like this would surface! Another sign that the Season is coming shortly!

Well, if you have the opportunity, take some photos! Show of your store's Christmas displays!

I will try, but I know in my Kohl's it is realllllly against the rules to take pictures of items on the sales floor. I certainly don't want to get in trouble as an employee (we've let go quite a few employees for violation of company policy...), but I will definitely try!

Looks like I am the only one around early this morning! Insomnia is a terrible thing! I actually got a few hours of sleep but decided to get up and get caught up on some Christmas planning and paperwork from work. It is a cool 48F outside when I took snowball out to do his business. I can't say enough How much I love this time of year. I want time to stop! This week is flying by..I have a long day at work today, and friday night I am going with Brandi to the school she teaches at,they are having thier homecoming dance, and we are suppose to 'overseeing it' I guess I need to polish up on my macarena dance moves:) I hope everyone has a good thursday morning. I may can get a few more hours of sleep!

When the baby comes, and if you are bottle feeding, the insomnia may be a great thing. With our first born he was bottle fed, and some of my favorite memories were when it was just him and I sitting in the rocker just looking at the most beautiful thing I have ever seen, while holding the bottle for him and listening to classical music.

Sorry for not catching this sooner cm3! BUt I am outraged too and to tell you the truth this is a big part of why I can't sleep,I have already been in contact with the gov office of Ohio to voice my conscern about how this was dealt with...Words can't describe how angry I am about this. All I can do is ask anyone who cares about animals.please please read up on this story and let the officials in Ohio know that an investigation is in order on how this was carried out. The last straw for me was looking at the news and they were even showing pics of the slaughtered animals. I will get off my soapbox now. Oh and this was my 10,000th post I think...wish it was on a better topic!:-?

Congrats on 10,000

I got an interview at a local trucking company for a chance to drive a straight truck. Most of it is just local with some overnight trips.
Next week Wednesday morning I go for an interview and a road test.
:???::???::???:

Good luck!

Good Morning, friends!

It is gorgeous weather here, mid 60's right now, with a high around 80 degrees. Loving it!

Harlowe has her 2nd part of the liver function test (vet appointment) tomorrow morning. I hope all goes well, and their technicians don't screw up this time =) I just want her well and happy again. She was very excited to see my husband last night, who had been away on business.

We had a nice relaxing morning, watched Home Alone on Encore family & ate breakfast on the patio.

I must go to Kohl's over my lunch break & use up my Kohl's bucks before they expire! I've got my eyes on another village piece

Hope Thursday is good to you all! :rudolph:

I hope Harlowe's test went well today.

Good evening,

Just finished watching the Bruins beat the Maple Leafs, and getting caught up with all the posts, wow you were all a bit busy today. Went to the Pack meeting with my sons Cub Scout troop, nothing like 20 something boys yelling and screaming to keep you alert. Got another Christmas gift bought today, this one for the love of my life, so I have to keep it hidden for 2 months.

Have a good night!
