good evening all!

3rd november is fast approaching and it can only mean one thing for those of us in the U.K..... starbucks christmas drinks will be available :lol: personally, i'm counting down the days.

I can't say that I am a big Starbucks/coffee/caffeine drinker, but I do enjoy a cup or two of Candy Cane Hot Chocolate during the Christmas Season!

When I was out grocery shopping this morning at our local strip mall, the outdoor loudspeaker was playing Rudolph, The Red-Nosed Reindeer!
(Couldn't believe it, as there was not a single Christmas decoration in sight.)

What a wonderful sign of the Season!

Good afternoon fellow Christmas lovers. It is boiling here in Australia. Dead set, i am frying like a poached egg. Today was good, but this afternoon wasn't as good. I had to let out a lot of frustration over a few things that have been bugging me for the past month. It's all good though, since i feel a lot better now. The punching bag isn't though. Tomorrow is shaping up to be a good day. Easy subjects and futsal after school. I am so excited for Christmas, i don't know whether it's too early to pop on a Christmas movie. Visiting the Christmas shop yesterday made my day. Catch you later.

Hello Everyone!!

I haven't been around much this year, but I do think of MMC and all my Christmas Pals everyday!! Today I just had to stop in. I ordered my Black Friday Shopping Tshirt this year, and it really hit me how close we are. In about 2 weeks, my Christmas Tree goes up (11/12). I can hardly believe how close it is. I know here at MMC we keep Christmas in our hearts all year long, but it amazes me how quickly the time approaches as the rest of the world catches up with all of us. This year I became part of an online travel agency and it has kept me busy but I am not complaining. The Lord knows how thankful I am for all my blessings he has given me.

So I hope everyone is doing well. I look forward to reading and catching up on the posts. I will get back into stopping by everyday to share in the Christmas Spirit. Take care everyone, have a WONDERFUL day!!!!

Good Monday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

I've had an extra busy morning today, so I'm just now posting.

Jacob and I went hunting at the part of my grandfather's farm that my mom inherited. We didn't see anything while we were there, but there were a lot of deer tracks. Yesterday, we went to Bass Pro Shop in the mall and I bought one of those wildlife digital cameras that you strap to a tree. It takes a picture when something walks nearby. It even takes 90 second videos if it's triggered in the daytime. That ought to be fun, seeing when the deer are actually visiting!

Nice! I would point that out to my Wife and she would roll her eyes. Then Id get my Son to sing along with it hehe.

My wife does the eye roll whenever I start singing Christmas carols during the "off-season."

Glad that there are a few on here who enjoy supporting the Packers as a secondary team! The traditional, small market team certainly does have an appeal.

These tags got messed up somewhere along the line!

When I was a kid I loved the Packers, they were my second favorite team. I don't want to claim that now, I would look like a bandwagon jumper. I only truly follow the Bengals now.

Well good night all...This is turning out to be a very busy fall. Work is crazy lately and Brandi is having a tough time this semester with a few classes she is teaching. They are getting ready for final exams in a few weeks,then the kids will be out for "winter break" I think they now calling it here. I am about to turn in I guess. have a good night all!

It was a long day for me today, I have to work tomorrow on a Tuesday for a change. Brought our cat Alex for his rabies shot tonight, he is getting fixed next Tuesday. I am starting to get really excited for the season, after Halloween it will really kick in, I can't wait.

I love winter, I don't think I ever saw 4 feet of snow in my front yard at one time like last year, which was absolutely amazing. I just love snow for Christmas.

hi V, ya' know others who always have something negative to say are miserable people. always thinking someone else has other motives for being absent from work. maybe it's because that's what they do themselves. just be sweet as pie to him/her w/out acknowledging his gossip, gets'em everytime.

Thanks Merry! It is sad that people have to be that way, and when I saw him today I was just nice and/or aloof toward him as I normally am. But it does just make me sad knowing that someone said things about me and can't say them to my face. Sometimes I get too emotionally involved in things like this and I wish I could step back and just not care. Sigh.

I'm with ya, made. I'm glad there's another Colts fan here who understands my pain! I couldn't even watch after halftime...I mean, mainly I stopped watching because I had to go to bed early for work today, but I just couldn't watch anymore. Then when I woke up this morning and saw the score...I had to shake my head. I really miss Peyton...bad. =\

Hello everyone, I need to get caught up, but what a weekend here in New York!!! It was PERFECT. Spent the day hiking the trails in Montauk, had a beautiful dinner at my favorite restaurant, which was having their Octoberfest!!! Can you say YUMMY!!! Had a bonfire on the beach, Snicker's played with her ball and dug some huge holes!!! We all enjoyed ourselves!!! Came home Sunday, late mass, putter around didn't do much of anything a little football, some snacking, a little laundry and now back to work.

Glad you had such a great time, Laurie!

And we heard back from Harlowe's vet, and her post liver function test results came back really good. She's a little confused, though, because the pre-test was higher than normal. She's consulting an internist to ask what would cause that.. Anyways, I'm happy with these results!! Thanks again to all who have been thinking of her.

Hello all. =)

Hope you all had a great Monday! I had a very productive first day back at work. The co-worker that had apparently been talking crap...well I just dealt with him like I normally do, didn't confront him or act differently, but it still hurts that things were said and he can't be man enough to say it to my face. I've gotta take my emotions out of it though or it'll drive me insane.

But that aside, I was able to get a lot done and it felt good to be back. It feels weird though when you're gone for a while to get back into the swing of things and be back on the same page as other people. I'm sure that'll be better as the week goes on.

Was able to catch up on some tv shows DF and I had DVR'd...like the finale of So You Think You Can Dance (almost 3 months old, oops!), the last few eps of Dancing with the Stars, as well as eps of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and The League. Now I'm working on sending out some postcards to people (anyone else collect postcards? I love it!) and generally cleaning around the house. Once everything is clean, I will feel much better!

I'm checking in with my Christmas friends late tonight! Hope you all had a great weekend & a great Monday!

I had a pretty fun day...I took the plunge & sent out the email inviting my family over for Thanksgiving! 41 people! YIKES. I love, love, love hosting Thanksgiving but the only downfall is not being able to put up my tree the Friday before Thanksgiving - which means I will put it up the Friday after Thanksgiving & that cuts into my black Friday shopping time. Ah well...it is what it is! :> Let the fun begin! The emails are flying in. My sil offered to bring pumpkin pie. My oldest sister ALWAYS makes the completely from scratch pumpkin pie. :lol: So my oldest sis said she would make mashed potatoes...my next oldest sister ALWAYS makes the mashed potatoes. Oh, it's all messed up this year! Ha ha ha! (kidding - it will be fine! Just kinda funny...) Mac & Cheese & chip dip coming from my oldest niece, buffallo chicken dip from another niece...ooh, I'm hungry for the Thanksgiving food already!

I'm in the middle of ordering some photo Christmas gifts AND our Christmas cards! :dance: My order has been "processing" for quite awhile. Hmmmmm.... I haven't received confirmation so I'm affraid to hit cancel. They have a 50% coupon that expires tonight so the server might be super busy!
