I could not get back here quick enough!! I had to go get my rental car which btw is a tiny little car that my knees are up under the dash...I honestly could sit in the backseat and drive it better but anyway I had the radio on because it does not have xm like my accord does and the station I like the most 97.3 in albany ga that usually plays grunge from the 90's and popular songs from that era has gone all Christmas!! I thought maybe it was just one song, but no it's all gone Christmas now. The other major top 40 pop station 95.7 in Valdosta where I live usually goes all Christmas december 1st which I think is too late. I have to admit listening to Carols when it is 77F outside is wierd,I have to accept this year is just going to be warmer for us down south than it has been in a long time. I got back to work and everyone is asking why I am so happy...wierd isn't it.:)
98.7 here in Savannah starts Christmas music on Thanksgiving Day, which is too late, too. Last year they had a poll on their website about when they should start playing Christmas music. Of course, I voted for November 1 (the earlier option), but Thanksgiving still won. :-?

My house smells CHRISTMASSY!!!! I went and picked up furnace filters and they had these gel insert thingys and i found two pine scented ones. WOW it is smelling up my whole house with piney scent. I also picked up a mistletoe candle at Kmart. I MIGHT be setting our Christmas deco up this week and over the weekend. We spent this past weekend at the beach where hubby had meetings most of Saturday and part of Sunday. He got elected into eldership at the church. I am happy for him but there is alot involved, but he will do it. We are looking into fostering and adoption processes for NC. Should begin that in February at the latest. I am sorry I have not stopped in but things have been super busy around here.
I also have two new critters. Hermit crabs with the names of Mork and Mindy (DH named them LOL) next two we get are gunna be Fred and Ethel.
Mom in law is doing better but gets winded and wore out easily, but she is getting back to more herself each day. I am finally bounced back from my nasty cold which took three weeks to kick completely.
Well Christmas Crazies (myself included LOL) I am off to have a cup of Bavarian Berry Tea and curl up with DH to watch something on tv, not sure what yet but something.:busy:

Good luck with the adopotion process! I think this is great that you and your DH are doing this!

Good evening ,Christmas family

Not as tired tonight as last night. Getting ready in about 4 minutes to see if Sounds of The Season on Music Choice has switched to Christmas....

I might be adopting another furchild. My sister called tonight and it seems there is a little Chihuahua who needs a home.....someone in her current home is allergic.......so....I am thinking about it. I know..some of you think I am crazy.....Maybe I am. I have just always felt that my "calling" is to care for the furry kids on this earth the best that I can and give them love and all the things they need...

Xmas......We are missing you very much and praying you are safe xo

Sugar - Thinking of you working nights UGH ......and of course thinking of Sweet Ella ((HUGS))

((((HUGS)))) Christmas family xoxo

Aww CM3! You have such a wonderful heart! I would have more furbabies too if my hubby would let me, but he says ones enough, especially with a 4 month old and a 2 year old! I'm always thinking about all your furbabies and you too! Thanks for thinking about me and my lovely night shifts. I actually do like working them - they offered me daylight, but I can actually see my family more - I may sometimes be sleep deprived, but that's okay!

Today is my favorite sons birthday...hard to believe my "baby" is 24 now!

Happy Belated Birthday to your son!

I also bought all the big christmas gifts already (maybe I'll buy a couple little ones later), which is good because I need to save a lot of money for my summer holidays next year! I will be traveling to the States for the first time!

This is so exciting! I bet you can't wait! I remember my first time riding in a plane - it was traveling to Italy and Greece in high school. It was a blast!

That stealthcam is the coolest thing EVAH!!

What a beautiful pic! That stealthcam is awesome!

My dad awoke me today at 7 AM. He was all packed and ready to head back home. Although we do not do a whole lot while he is here (shop, sports stores, watch hockey and football), I enjoy having him around. Even as a 26-year-old, I still cherish spending time with him. He should be more than halfway home now, too... The nine hour drive is defintely something that I do not look forward to! Even so, I can't wait to head home for Christmas and see my entire family.

Hope your dad had safe travels back home!

Harlowe has been doing pretty good. Her Dr. called us last Friday & said that the internist thought she may have had some sort of spontaneous gall bladder contraction where her post test results may have been affected. She suggests a few different things- a liver biopsy, Lactulose trial, and another medicine called Actigall . It's just frustrating because we've spent so much money trying to figure things out for the last 5 months, and we're still just guessing. My husband feels we have to draw the line somewhere. Especially since she's doing so much better. As is, she's now on 4 different medicines again & that's getting expensive. Don't get me wrong, we'd do anything for her! I just wish they could pinpoint something definitive. Please say prayers for her & us so we don't lose our
minds

Prayers being said for you, Harlowe, and your DH! Hope you can soon find an answer as to what to do with Harlowe. I think you will!

What a day! I just went out to my car and someone broke into it and slide the electric seat all the way up to the underneath the steering wheel and ripped out and controls so I can't even get into it because I am so tall. I don't even think brandi could get into it and she's 4 '11!! because its all the way up to the controls! guess I have to call the cops!

Update on horrific day I am having.....this is almost comical, but I found out my dog snowball has been sick all over the house today!!! now the trick will be cleaning it up without throwing up myself... Now I am worried about him..Just thought I would share this with everyone! I hope everyone out there is having a good hump day!

Oh Neal! So sorry you had a day from heck yesterday! Hope today is going much better! Just think - it's almost the weekend!

Are you a recipient or a donor? I hope I don't sound like I'm prying, but transplanting is an interest of mine, too. I gave my brother a kidney in 2005.

What an awesome thing to do! I was so glad to read that your brother is doing well! You gave your brother such an awesome gift!

I hope you're sitting down when you read this (b/c most people go into shock) but I received a heart/double lung transplant 15 years ago (June 14, 1996) when I was 16 years old. To make a long story short, yes I was born with a bazillion health problems (premee + under developed lungs + inoperable holes in my heart = transplantation as a teen) and I've only experienced one bout of rejection. It was in 2006, chronic, and it was in my lungs. But yours truly fought back and I've been able to keep it at bay for 5.5 years.

God Bless you! I'm glad to read that you're doing well too! I pray that you continue to do just as well with your transplants!

Well so much for that 24 hour repair time on my laptop. I just got a email saying they have received it and the estimated repair date is 11/14. That's 12 days later. Someone needs to talk to their customer service reps. That's a big difference and I'm going to go crazy without my laptop for that long.

Oh Made, that stinks!

Good news!

My mom spoke on my behalf and told Dad how much my cousin and I talk on Facebook, blah blah....well guess what? I'm now going to the wedding!

That's great news! Good for you!

slept in this morning, have to go to Toronto with Lindsay.

Hope you have safe travels today!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!!!! It's going to be a rainy day here in central Indy so I plan on staying home all day. My goal for today is to get my kitchen completely scrubbed down and ready for christmas decorations. I may even sneak a few out as I go along. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Please come and clean my house while your at it!

Hello Christmas family! Hope this finds all of you well! I'm just sitting her listening to MCR 2. I'm just thinking about what to make for dinner - I'm thinking spagetti. It's easy and I'm hungry for it!

I forgot to put in my post last night: we also got something else done already! We booked our vacation already for this June! A week long trip to Myrtle Beach, SC! I'm very excited as I've never been there. I always go to Ocean City, MD so I can't wait. We're staying at a hotel, kinda a resort type that has so much that the kids can do, so it will be really nice.

There isn't a whole lot going on here right now. I'm finally caught up on the countdown. That took me a while! I hope everyone is having a great day!

Xmas: Hope everything is okay. Praying for you and your family. We miss you around here.

We're going to MB for a week next June too! We're pulling the camper over. Excited, but nervous about pulling a camper that far. I'll be a long, slow trip...

One of the guys in our office just asked if it was too early to decorate for Christmas? My workmate & I told him "No! It's never to early for Christmas!" He showed us pictures of his front porch/yard. He has put the lights on the bushes. He's trying to figure out what else he wants to do on the porch & roof.

That just gets me excited! I'd say my workmate & I will be listening to Christmas music after Veteran's Day.

hi everyone! all fine here. still coughing and on...but it is getting better. i was watching tv this evening and suddenly I heard bells jingleing......I saw the first Christmas Commercial of this year........which caught me totally off guard....I did not expect any X-Mas commercials until november 15th......it was for Obi....one of Germany s biggest diy markets.....it was actually a really cool commercial....luved it!!!

Sounds like a lot of fun!

I had been gone awhile and noticed Seawaters has not been on since I have been back. Is she ok?

We're very excited! Seawaters had surgery...I think it was on her shoulder. She did check in. I remember reading her post. I was busy at that time too, but did read the post!

Have a great time! You'll have a blast camping at the beach! I went with my in-laws camping at the beach (Ocean City, MD) a few years back. We want to get a camper of our own in a few years. I plan on doing the beach thing myself then as well!

I forgot to add earlier too...I don't know where my mind is at today...EA is sick again. Poor little thing. She has a horrible cough and can hardly even talk. She gets so short of breath when she runs around and when I listen to her lungs with my stethoscope, I can hear some tightness and wheezing. I am starting to get in now too. I don't want DS to get it too, being the fact he is only 4 months. When it gets too bad, those type of symptoms puts a baby in the hospital!

Since she was short of breath and all of that jazz, my husband took EA to the doctor yesterday and the doctor on call said it just a common cold and there is nothing they can do about it. He said when he listened to her lungs, her lungs sounded "basically clear." What does that mean? I told my husband that he probably hear some wheezing, but it was only occassional. No offense to doctors or if there are any doctors on here, but they can be very frustrating. I think we know more than them sometimes. I think she has more than the cold. I will really be keeping an eye her. She just doesn't sound good at all. Say a prayer for her, please. Thanks all! :)

HALLELUJAH!! IT'S ALMOST FRIDAY!!!

My blood sugar levels are fine but the weather is going to be COLD and can cause those numbers to drop so.....hello pasta for dinner! Not that I'm complaining. ;-)

P.S. I'll be decorating my apatrment next weekend because A.) It's a long holiday and B.) one of my sisters will be visiting and she's offered to help me decorate. :-)

Thanks Shellie! DS has been coughing some too, but not nearly as bad. I've been doing everything to prevent both of them to get worse. I appreciate your prayers!

It is scary when you hear wheezing. My son and grandson both have asthma. I just wonder if they wheezy sound was in the throat, a little congestion, which is not near as bad as the lungs. If the lungs are clear is a good sign. You have a right to be nervous and NOT want to hear ANY wheezing!

I hope she gets well soon!

Thanks CAH. No, I know I heard it in her lungs. I had hear cough typically if it's just congestion, it should clear with a cough. It didn't too much. I had asthma as a child, so I do get cautious with this myself too. I told my husband the doctor may not have heard to much because when I listened to her, it was first thing in the morning too and that is always when she will sound worse, so who knows!

It looks like 53% of his area is still without power. Hopefully they get it fixed soon.
