I love the Santas in the pictures, Shellie!

98.7 here in Savannah starts Christmas music on Thanksgiving Day, which is too late, too. Last year they had a poll on their website about when they should start playing Christmas music. Of course, I voted for November 1 (the earlier option), but Thanksgiving still won. :-?I could not get back here quick enough!! I had to go get my rental car which btw is a tiny little car that my knees are up under the dash...I honestly could sit in the backseat and drive it better but anyway I had the radio on because it does not have xm like my accord does and the station I like the most 97.3 in albany ga that usually plays grunge from the 90's and popular songs from that era has gone all Christmas!! I thought maybe it was just one song, but no it's all gone Christmas now. The other major top 40 pop station 95.7 in Valdosta where I live usually goes all Christmas december 1st which I think is too late. I have to admit listening to Carols when it is 77F outside is wierd,I have to accept this year is just going to be warmer for us down south than it has been in a long time. I got back to work and everyone is asking why I am so happy...wierd isn't it.![]()
My house smells CHRISTMASSY!!!! I went and picked up furnace filters and they had these gel insert thingys and i found two pine scented ones. WOW it is smelling up my whole house with piney scent. I also picked up a mistletoe candle at Kmart. I MIGHT be setting our Christmas deco up this week and over the weekend. We spent this past weekend at the beach where hubby had meetings most of Saturday and part of Sunday. He got elected into eldership at the church. I am happy for him but there is alot involved, but he will do it. We are looking into fostering and adoption processes for NC. Should begin that in February at the latest. I am sorry I have not stopped in but things have been super busy around here.
I also have two new critters. Hermit crabs with the names of Mork and Mindy (DH named them LOL) next two we get are gunna be Fred and Ethel.
Mom in law is doing better but gets winded and wore out easily, but she is getting back to more herself each day. I am finally bounced back from my nasty cold which took three weeks to kick completely.
Well Christmas Crazies (myself included LOL) I am off to have a cup of Bavarian Berry Tea and curl up with DH to watch something on tv, not sure what yet but something.:busy:
Good evening ,Christmas family
Not as tired tonight as last night. Getting ready in about 4 minutes to see if Sounds of The Season on Music Choice has switched to Christmas....
I might be adopting another furchild. My sister called tonight and it seems there is a little Chihuahua who needs a home.....someone in her current home is allergic.......so....I am thinking about it. I know..some of you think I am crazy.....Maybe I am. I have just always felt that my "calling" is to care for the furry kids on this earth the best that I can and give them love and all the things they need...
Xmas......We are missing you very much and praying you are safe xo
Sugar - Thinking of you working nights UGH ......and of course thinking of Sweet Ella ((HUGS))
((((HUGS)))) Christmas family xoxo
Today is my favorite sons birthday...hard to believe my "baby" is 24 now!
I also bought all the big christmas gifts already (maybe I'll buy a couple little ones later), which is good because I need to save a lot of money for my summer holidays next year! I will be traveling to the States for the first time!

That stealthcam is the coolest thing EVAH!!
My dad awoke me today at 7 AM. He was all packed and ready to head back home. Although we do not do a whole lot while he is here (shop, sports stores, watch hockey and football), I enjoy having him around. Even as a 26-year-old, I still cherish spending time with him. He should be more than halfway home now, too... The nine hour drive is defintely something that I do not look forward to! Even so, I can't wait to head home for Christmas and see my entire family.
Harlowe has been doing pretty good. Her Dr. called us last Friday & said that the internist thought she may have had some sort of spontaneous gall bladder contraction where her post test results may have been affected. She suggests a few different things- a liver biopsy, Lactulose trial, and another medicine called Actigall . It's just frustrating because we've spent so much money trying to figure things out for the last 5 months, and we're still just guessing. My husband feels we have to draw the line somewhere. Especially since she's doing so much better. As is, she's now on 4 different medicines again & that's getting expensive. Don't get me wrong, we'd do anything for her! I just wish they could pinpoint something definitive. Please say prayers for her & us so we don't lose our
minds
What a day! I just went out to my car and someone broke into it and slide the electric seat all the way up to the underneath the steering wheel and ripped out and controls so I can't even get into it because I am so tall. I don't even think brandi could get into it and she's 4 '11!! because its all the way up to the controls! guess I have to call the cops!
Update on horrific day I am having.....this is almost comical, but I found out my dog snowball has been sick all over the house today!!! now the trick will be cleaning it up without throwing up myself... Now I am worried about him..Just thought I would share this with everyone! I hope everyone out there is having a good hump day!
Are you a recipient or a donor? I hope I don't sound like I'm prying, but transplanting is an interest of mine, too. I gave my brother a kidney in 2005.
I hope you're sitting down when you read this (b/c most people go into shock) but I received a heart/double lung transplant 15 years ago (June 14, 1996) when I was 16 years old. To make a long story short, yes I was born with a bazillion health problems (premee + under developed lungs + inoperable holes in my heart = transplantation as a teen) and I've only experienced one bout of rejection. It was in 2006, chronic, and it was in my lungs. But yours truly fought back and I've been able to keep it at bay for 5.5 years.
Well so much for that 24 hour repair time on my laptop. I just got a email saying they have received it and the estimated repair date is 11/14. That's 12 days later. Someone needs to talk to their customer service reps. That's a big difference and I'm going to go crazy without my laptop for that long.

Good news!
My mom spoke on my behalf and told Dad how much my cousin and I talk on Facebook, blah blah....well guess what? I'm now going to the wedding!
slept in this morning, have to go to Toronto with Lindsay.
Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!!!! It's going to be a rainy day here in central Indy so I plan on staying home all day. My goal for today is to get my kitchen completely scrubbed down and ready for christmas decorations. I may even sneak a few out as I go along. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!
Sounds like a lot of fun!I forgot to put in my post last night: we also got something else done already! We booked our vacation already for this June! A week long trip to Myrtle Beach, SC!
We booked our vacation already for this June! A week long trip to Myrtle Beach, SC! I'm very excited as I've never been there.
Good point. I haven't seen her in while, either. :-oI had been gone awhile and noticed Seawaters has not been on since I have been back. Is she ok?

We're going to MB for a week next June too! We're pulling the camper over. Excited, but nervous about pulling a camper that far. I'll be a long, slow trip...
hi everyone! all fine here. still coughing and on...but it is getting better.
I forgot to add earlier too...I don't know where my mind is at today...EA is sick again. Poor little thing. She has a horrible cough and can hardly even talk. She gets so short of breath when she runs around and when I listen to her lungs with my stehtodscope, I can hear some tightness and wheezing. I am starting to get in now too. I don't want DS to get it too, being the fact he is only 4 months. When it gets too bad, those type of symptoms puts a baby in the hospital!
Since she was short of breath and all of that jazz, my husband took EA to the doctor yesterday and the doctor on call said it just a common cold and there is nothing they can do about it. He said when he listened to her lungs, her lungs sounded "basically clear." What does that mean? I told my husband that he probably hear some wheezing, but it was only occassional. No offense to doctors or if there are any doctors on here, but they can be very frustrating. I think we know more than them sometimes. I think she has more than the cold. I will really be keeping an eye her. She just doesn't sound good at all. Say a prayer for her, please. Thanks all!![]()
Of course sugar. hopefully its only a cold but at the same time better to keep a eye. not sure what a dr wood mean by basically clear. but to me that wood mean he hears some kind of a rattle or something. but again why wood he not have given sonthing for it incase it got worst. i dont know, tent to agree what you about dr,s. as i said hopefully it will past and with gods help the baby will not catch it
It is scary when you hear wheezing. My son and grandson both have asthma. I just wonder if they wheezy sound was in the throat, a little congestion, which is not near as bad as the lungs. If the lungs are clear is a good sign. You have a right to be nervous and NOT want to hear ANY wheezing!I forgot to add earlier too...I don't know where my mind is at today...EA is sick again.
