Have you noticed that all the men on this forum are extremely respectful of the opposite sex. So our statistics are better than average!!

Very nice and its nice to hear a man say something good or nice about the wife.. your one in a million . and you tell her i said that

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is rainy and chilly here in northern California. We have a leak in the roof over the storeroom/pantry. Hubby has tried to fix it several times but can't seem to find it. I plan to work on some of my pile of papers that have resided on the kitchen table for a week or so. Dinner tonight will be garlic roasted shoulder pulled pork, beginning in the oven and ending up in our stomachs. We have just about finished up the last of Xmas' famous Italian Casserole. On this second time fixing it, I changed it up a little--provolone cheese, penne pasta, fresh basil, and even corn (yes, corn!!!). I was out of tomato sauce, so I used roasted garlic tomato paste and some chicken bouillon. Hubby and I talked about changing it up again with a Mexican flair. Thanks for the recipe, Xmas. It is really good. Have a great day, everyone!

I skipped church this morning,I was watching the Gift of the Magi and I lost track of time. I knew Brandi was not going anyway and we have guests coming for lunch. I am about to head to the dining room to set the table etc etc... Have a good afternoon everyone!!

Well I just have to give a resounding "I SECOND THAT" I'm not married, nor will I ever, but I sure can appreciate to hear a man, (who is my Christmas Ornament exchanger!) give such a heartfelt, loved filled gratification of his excellent date with an (obviously) exceptional wifey! I can just feel the LOVE! You GO DUDE!!!!!!!

i watched the santa suit last night. its the one about santa taking a heart attack and the daughter has to take over and she trys to bring it up with modern day..

Hi Shellie !! Actually The Santa Suit I was talking about stars Kevin Sorbo and it is about a corporate executive who only thinks of Christmas as a way to make money......He doesn't get it at all.....Until Santa Claus casts a spell on him and everyone who sees the executive sees Santa Claus and not the executive......Eventually the executive gets it because of a little girl.........It is really a touching movie !! xo

TOUCHDOWN AT TARGET!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's what I got:

2 boxes of those variety cards (1 Traditional and 1 Whimsical) that have 32 cards in each (8 designs so 4 of each). How much did just one box of 32 cards cost me? $3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A CD & DVD Label Maker Essentials Kit. Yup, I'm going to use this for the CDs I'll be burning for my family for their gifts!! I'm SO GLAD I thought to add this to my list at the last minute last night!!! (only $15)

Some really pretty Christmas letterhead to go with the letters I'm writing each member of my family. (also dirt cheap)

A WOW Christmas CD I've been wanting for months. It has 2 CDs (16 songs on each) of Christmas songs sung by today's popular Christian artists. That cost me about $15.

Michael Buble's Christmas CD but it's not for me. It's for my soon-to-be 28 year old sister (her b-day is 11/21). See, since 1997 we've had this tradition where every year on her b-day, I get her a CD she wants. There has only been one year I didn't get her a CD but that's only b/c she specifically said she didn't want one. She knows she's getting this b/c she asked for it. (She also admitted to being a closeted Justin Bieber fan but no way was I going to buy her his CD!) This was actually my most expensive item at $17....yeah, I got her the one with the bonus 3 songs.

Aaaand last? I got some food (Pasta Roni, Campbell's Select microwaveable soup) because it's cheaper at Target than at the supermarket.

Anyway, like I said.....a HUGE success and I hope to install the CD label maker sometime today. :hello:

New avatar picture!!! That is me when I was like a year old.

Aww thats a super cute picture!!

All is good here, I woke up pretty late today considering the past few days I had UNI and work very early!! So I felt very nice and energized for a new day!
Finally have vacation (fall) and tomorrow my boyfriend is finally coming over from London after not having seen hm for a month and a half! He'll be staying for a week, so I think I am going to also make use of this week to do some Christmas shoppings which he can help me carry with hahaha ;)

The weather is FINALLY more Chrismassy as the temperature colder today, so I'm totally in the Christmas mood! I put up some Christmas music and cinnamon essence sticks!
Im really hoping that the temperature is going to decrease faster than expected and that we can expect snow very soon!! :)

Hope everyone is doing well!!

That just toooooooooo warm for me......ugh!!!!!!!!

With all this Christmas spirit around everywhere I have decided to put up my tree and decor this tuesday the 8th! this will be the earliest ever for me but that is a day I work half a shift and will be home by lunch. I even checked the weather forecast for that day is will be 78 warm degrees but I don't care. I guess I will put up decorations in shorts and t shirt! actually speaking of the weather we are suppose to be in the 80's the week of the 15th sure that can change due to it being 10 plus days out but it is not looking good for us in the deep south as far as cold weather goes...but I try to not let that take away any Christmas spirit.!

Well I live in Montreal, and there is ice upon the pond, going to be in the low 50's for a few days, but I'm lookn forward to the subzero weather! YES!!!!!!!!!!! With 5 feet of snow.........YES!!!!!!!! I lived in Florida, (gulf coast) for a few years, and you can keep all that HEAT........ugh.........I survive better in cold weather......I'm hot blooded, so I heat up rather quickly, so the cooler to colder the better!!!!!!!! LET it SNOW, LET it SNOW, LET it SNOW!!!!!!!! I had moved here from TO back in the 80's why? Because Montreal gets a lot more snow!!!!!!! Let's face it the cold preserves us better than heat! LOL.
I'm just a 'four season kind of guy'!
Later.........!:cold::playing::roll:

Well, I guess I should have given an update on what the beautiful wifey and I did last night....

WE HAD A DATE!

We went to eat, went to hobby lobby and bought some stuff, and (my first time in a year) went to the mall to look at Christmas stuff. We had so much fun. We talked about all our plans for Christmas, Thanksgiving, and spent quite some time discussing Black Friday (I prefer Cyber Monday). It was a great time. it was so much fun we are doing it again next weekend.

Glad to hear you had a great time.

Glad to hear you really enjoy it, I have a few more recipes based on restaurants dishes, but I made them my own, maybe I will share them if you're good. cheesy

I know is that not the sickest, and saddist day?

Today keeps getting better and better! I just happened to be flipping through the dishnetwork tv guide..I downgraded last month to save money and had to give up xm radio that came with the package I had but I did it anyway...well on channel 82 they changed the kidz(not typo believe it or not)network to holiday pop! So now I can listening to christmas music at home and in my car..the radio stations around here stop playing Xmas music at midnight on the 26th which is like sending someone into shock..that is what I love about hallmark movies and xm..they still playthe music and movies until at least the 1st of jan..I have to gradually wean off after the 25th...by the 2nd of jan I have come to terms with everything and ready to let go for another year! but I don't wanna think about that now!!

I know of which you speaketh.........is that not the pits, and I mean that with all the emotion tide with it.......THE PITS!!!!! I mean what happened to the twelve days of Christmas already! I'm mean can we talk here.....my whole body goes into shock!!!!!! As a child........you heard music at least up until the 31st of Dec.! Oy.......how we suffer..........in silence that is........Later......!:snowball:
