Hello! Surfin' in from Norway.
Little bit cold here today so the fire is delightful! =)

I have so much to do this days. Shopping Christmas presents almost every day now.
I want to be finished before 1st December.

My boys turn 8 this Friday so I have to plan for their Birthday. And I love it.
They want a Disco Birthday. And a Disco Cake? Haha.. What's a Disco cake?
Well, I have som challanges this week

Hey everyone...I am trying not to be a downer here or anything,but I need prayers!!! I am confused and trying to get info on my parents in Portland because the state troopers just called me and said they were in a car accident and were xported to a hospital but the hospital will not give me answers...anyhow everything is chaotic now..I have to try to find them and get some info,..just kindly remember them in your prayers!!

Good Morning all!!

The start of another week means were are getting closer to the official and unofficial start to the Holiday Season and it's the last 5 day work week for me in Nov!!
Off next friday and took 2 days off to enjoy the US Turkday tv Football and start decorating the house.

Did some more shopping this weekend and even saw the first outdoor Xmas lights in our neighborhood last night on the way home!

It's coming fast, no question!!

really frosty here in the north of england today, it's perfect christmas weather!

has a lovely day yesterday, went to a traditional country pub with my fiance and our daughter, they had put their christmas lights up and they were twinkling away and looked so beautiful. the food was fantastic, we had home made steak and ale pie with mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables and gravy followed by hot chocolate fudge and caramel cake with double pouring cream. we were stuffed! it was proper bristish comfort food, perfect for this type of weather.

Got my 3rd cold since the start of Oct but I've wrapped my self up and I am sitting by the fire to keep nice and cosy, defiantly feels like winter today!
Im also really starting to get in the Christmas mood now, next week its the light switch on in the next town then 2 weeks later they go on where I live followed by a parade the next day

Good morning, everyone!

I hope those that were able to attend had a wonderful time in the Christmas Chat! As I mentioned, I had a scrimmage for our flag football league here. We lost, but it was fun. I actually played quarterback for the second half. I did not do too bad but threw an interception. It's a lot tougher than I remember - I haven't played since gym class in Grade 12!

Anyway, on with the day! The Christmas Season is only six days away! I had a discussion with a friend yesterday evening that the Season doesn't begin until the 13th. She claimed we were already in the Christmas Season due to all the decor and everything in the stores. I insisted that it does not begin until this upcoming Sujnday. It was a fun conversation. I can't wait for these six days to pass. And, the fact that we have some Special Posts beginning tomorrow will only make it progress even faster! With that, good luck to all of those writing their special posts, I am sure that you will all be wonderful!!

Thanks to the return of standard time, we are a little warmer than last week at this time. 8c (46F). We're actually supposed to reach an unheard of high of 14c today. Is it really November?! Oddly enough, these double digit temperatures are going to last until Friday, when we have a chance of snow!! I am very excited for that!

OK, I think I must get some "work" done. Obviously, it is never a great feeling to wake up after a relaxing weekend and return to work.... However, it is definitely more magical when it is the final week before the Christmas Season!! Have a great final Monday before the Christmas Season, everyone! We're almost there!

I got a VERY NICE surprise when I came home from work last night! When we pulled up in the driveway and I saw my big Christmas tree in the window with all the lights on. I looked at my husband and he said, "don't look at me, it was all your sons idea". I said, "Are you serious"????? My 21 year old son set up the Christmas Tree to surprise me and boy was I surprised!!!!!!! It was 100% his idea.

When I came in the house I told my son how much I appreciated it. With his silly sense of humor he said, "I didn't do it! Someone broke in the house and set it up"! :lol:

My son has acted indifferent about Christmas for several years now. Doesn't hate it but just indifferent. So this came as a big shock to me and brought tears to my eyes when he did this nice gesture. The night before he did this he sat down and watched The Grinch Who Stole Christmas with me.

We do have to decorate it which he knew the grandkids always help with that. He got the main part done for me. cheesy

I will never EVER forget this!

Another Monday ... I forgot to bring milk to the office for my tea. Last week I remembered the milk, but someone else used most of it (without permission)! So I bought a single-serving bottle of chocolate milk and filled it with regular milk instead---the camouflage seemed to work. I figured if someone was swiping it for their tea, coffee, or cereal, they wouldn't reach for a bottle of chocolate milk! Later on I may use a single-serving eggnog bottle ... heh heh heh. Yes, there may be folks who put eggnog in their coffee or tea, but I know they don't work here.

I am back and already healthy again!

G'morning. I slept real poorly but not nearly as bad as the weekend though my head is really killing me. Coffee and I are totally going to become BFFs today.

I had a great weekend! I was able get out and catch up on all of my work, and I still had a chance to take my son hunting and spend some time with my family. I love that!

Soooo....guess what?

All that crap that happened to me this weekend (lack of sleep, loud, rapid heartbeat, etc.)? It seems that it's just yours truly stressing herself out.

I have a GI appointment Wednesday morning (due to abdominal pains I was having in mid-September). Anyway, I saw this guy once before (in August of 2009) and he was insistant on doing a colonoscopy....which scared the crap out of me (bad pun ;-) ). My transplant center put their foot down on that idea so I was able to weasel my way out of it.

I've now got myself all worked up worrying that he'll want to do it to me this time. I've been talking about this with my co-workers (and one of my sisters) and everyone seems to think that it's just me stressing myself to the max.

Right now I'm just trying to take deep breaths during the day time, and a Guided Relaxation mp3 at night to help me sleep. (I'd like to listen to it now, but it would do a fabulous job at knocking me out! :-D )

I hope everything is okay with gabulldawg. He hasn't posted since last night. :-(

Hello everyone!!! I am so bummed I missed the chat, had some tech problems at home with the tablet!!! UGH!!!

Anyway, had a lovely weekend, and the G-MAN with a HUGE victory last night OMG I thought I was going to stop breathing for sure.

I am happy to report the Halloween decor is all down, my Thanksgiving decor is up - my little Thanksgiving theme village is all set up. I started the Christmas Lights, WHOOO HOO!!!!

Last week after the storm was crazy here, but good crazy. I never really got all caught up bummer.

Hoping to get caught up from the weekend now. Hope this post finds you all well.

I forgot to tell you, Christmas family, it looks like I will be adopting another furkid !!! Her name is Lola and she is supposed to be brought to me this Saturday !
