Oh man! don't remind me...I always without fail go to the Ga/Ga tech game the day after thanksgiving. but this year since Dad had the stroke I will be in Portland...if anyone wants the tickets let me know!!! I never asked you Brad if your a dawg fan!!! WHen I went to GSU we always played the Dawgs first game of the season..of course they won..but I always was a Georgia Dawg fan...and them beating those pesky Gators was just the icing on the cake for me this year!!

I'm not really a ball fan, but I do like to hear the final scores. The Bulldogs womped Auburn!

I have something else to be very excited for today...MY MMC COOKBOOK SHIPPED! :dance:

feel kinda crap today
Was gonna do my outdoor lights this year for charity but have thought long and hard about it and have decided not to
i an so scared of people thinking that i wood use or take any of it. this town of mine is small and i have heard what they have said about other people.
And as well i wood be scared of someone stealing the money box as it wood have been put on the fench and i could not watch it all the time
And the party i was at on sat night was saying to my mate about it ,he had done a big breakfast 2 months ago for a cancer charity. and he was telling me , that people that actually come into his cafe everyday and still do. asked well steven how much did you make? and he said £1050 one then said back to him now steven how much did you really make?
Think when i heard that. it was enough for me.
I had to phone the person over the lapland trust and tell her.she said if i change my mind just let her know but since i have done it. i feel like i have let then down and feel real rotton about it
My partner says i done the right thing as he knows that it wood get to me real bady if i heard anything and i no i wood and he says that the lights will still give lots of people pleasure and anything thay can say is an mad or how does she pay the electric bill ""
My uncle says . let the people say what they want as they have nothing better to do. and it be a jealious thing as they have nothing to do all day only talk about people.

Glad last night was a superduper success - next one.........DARLENE LOVE!!!

I'm an incubus of viral plague right now. I'm now on vacation for a week and have landed with b*tch cold from he ll I've got the works and then some and am feeling particularly sorry for myself.

Just wanted to say hi, yay for the season, and will now go fester under a quilt. I even turned off my Christmas movies; that is the extent of my yuck-ness!!!

@cm3-I know we are alot alike!! what is strange is I worry alot but no one knows because I come off as being a calm person. Especially at work everyone tells me how I don't get stressed out..and I am like what? I am the most stressed out person in the room...I just have the gift of faking it I guess. Once I get something on my mind though um it just stays until I find something else to obsess over.! Luckily I have things to distract me! My brother from San Diego is still coming for my 37th birthday in 2 and a half weeks. Even though I saw him last week at my folks home in oregon I still am lookin forward to visiting with him at my own home. I still don't know what to do about thanksgiving...it looks like me and brandi will spend the first thanksigiving with our own families...but there is no way I will feel right if my dad is in the hospital and I am across the country. My dad has never spend the night in the hospital a day in his life until now,and he's 63! Maybe my dad will already be on the rehab floor but it's still the hospital,it appears he will have his left side be affected moreso than his right side,but at least his mind seems to have not been affected or his speech...but he has hardly talked at all,but alot of that is because he still has a respirator in!
Anyhow how did monday get here so fast! hopefully today will be fast..and besides it's the last week before thaksigving holidays..I can get through anything having that to look forward to!

Continued prayers for your Dad's recovery Dawg and prayers for strength for you and your family through this difficult time.

Feeling nauseous + scratchy throat + tightness in chest = I am soo staying home today.


As soon as I finish my coffee and yogurt (that's the only thing that appealed to me) I am going back to bed!

Wow, I missed about 500 posts over the weekend! I've been reading for the last 2 hours! I'm sorry I missed the festivities Saturday night. I worked all day at the store, then we had my neice's two little boys all night. They are 3 years old and 9 months. Dude, I had forgotten how much work that is! We didn't sleep all night!

The Christmas Season has begun! I LOVE IT!!!

Good afternoon everyone .... Sometimes I wish I could rewind time and slow it down so I can enjoy everything a little more. The past couple months have been so hetic and busy that I am still WAY behind on my Christmas prep/enjoyment. Kids have been busy involved in football/ playoffs/ cheerleading competetions that our weekends have been involved in going from one event/field to another. Plus we are in the middle of updating our kitchen. I feel like everything is passing me by without me being able to fully enjoy everything. Think we have to revamp our holiday plans to include some much needed down time at home so the family can relax and enjoy some of the holidays moives together.

Slowly have been getting the gift shopping done.I have my christmas cards out but have yet to start on them. Hoping to get them started this week so I can have done and in the mail by the end of the first week in Dec.

I only need to get through this work week and then I am off all next week.... Still amazed that Thanksgiving is next week already!!!

Hi every one hope you all are well! Every one who is starting to feel a bit of color, take some rest and fruit! you can't afford to get ill during christmas season!

That sounds amazing just saw that the starbucks at my trainstation was all decorated for christmas and had their christmas blends and cups out! I was trilled!

I can understand you feel awful due to all of this! i think you should not think about what others think, but about what you want to do. However, if you feel it would make you uncomfortable, you can always decide not to do it, and maybe find an other way to make money for the good cause, since that is what counts! Don't get yourself to the point you feel awful, because what you want to do comes from you good heart, so don't feel bad about wanting to help someone else, it's people like you that improve the world!

Hope you are all doing well... I haven't posted really too much today... DON'T laugh I have a HORRIBLE case of poison ivy... Can you believe it - I tell you it is a pain!!! I made a DR appt so hopefully it get better soon. But, it is kind of a funny story, I saw it and touched it but didn't know it was poison ivy until I started getting these red bumps.

So, I am laughing at myself and my pink lotion all over my arms and legs:lol: I look like quite a sight!!!!

A friend of mine sent me a text this morning saying "at least I can work from home next week" - my question to her was going to be "so what will your schedule be for Thanksgiving week" when I realized....next week IS Thanksgiving week! How did that happen!!!

.....This morning, this discussion reminded me of the Little Nero's pizza delivery boy in "Home Alone"---I think he was the first to knock over the "jockey" in front of the house, wasn't he? Come to think of it, no---the airport van was the first. After that, every vehicle in the first two movies knocks over the "jockey" when it pulls up to the front of the house. (Except I think in the second movie the first airport van misses it, then the second one creams it!)

I had SO much fun Saturday night!!! What a blast!!! It moved so fast, it was so cool that so many made it on... I did some Christmas shopping on Saturday, for me that is early, I love to wait and do it in the month of December (I don't have many to buy for - so it is easy for me). I looked at some wrapping paper, but I want to check out what Wal-Mart has

We also bought our tickets for the Radio City Christmas Show!!! I haven't seen it in a couple of years and I cannot wait!!! We bought the 2 PM show on Christmas Eve, how romantic, I just love it... We were trying for Giant - Jet game tickets but they cost SO much money we decided not to do that... I cannot believe how much the tickets were now. It is so crazy the prices.

That stuff is seriously aggravating if you get it on you. My mom is really allergic to it. We have to take her to the hospital if she gets into it.
