Good Morning Christmas Friends!
Hope your day is off to a good start. Mine is considering I have the next four days off! Where I work we have a few inches of snow! In town we had a "skiff" but it has since blown away. I plan to do some Christmas shopping in the next couple of days. I have started but still have alot to do. Can't wait to start decorating my home and do some Christmas baking. I plan to join my brothers family for Thanksgiving this year. I am looking forward to wonderful food and good company. Have a great day friends!
sounds like a fabulous thanksgiving you have planned. enjoy yourself!
Morning y'all!!!

thought I would write something here and to anyone I missed forgive me!! Just trying to make at least one person laugh today! So here it goes........

twas almost a month before Christmas and all Thu the forums,
everyone was excited, as Crown 84 counts em down for us!
Jeff was busy with a new pod cast,
and was havin fun wholeheartedly,
RJD, Jayish and CJ498 was spinning tunes,
for our World's Largest Christmas Party.
MerryChristmasTV and DvdGuy made sure we watched what we wanted,
as George Broderick, Jr. drawed us.

MerryCarey,Christmas-A-Holic, merrymistletoe, and Christmasstar
strung tinsel and holly all around the room,
when from outside we all heard a big BOOM!!

We all ran to the windows and threw up the sash
and we saw the front of the Pines had became hash!
thanks to made582, Undrtakr and gabulldawg who,
tried to make a fire, and used gasoline too!

Rodmonster was laughing, Maureen was shaking her head
as AuntieMistletoeDear Yelled "We'll make the smores over
the fire place instead!

Chef Matt and Seawaters was baking away as
Spyells, shellie12 and kerstig wrapped more presents without delay.
Caninemom3 and snow in texas was stringing popcorn for
the tree. Michelleloveschristmas, judesmama and Mumof2
was caroling away in sweet harmony!

JanaBanana and One Spoiled Brat put the tree up,
Bradmac said "I have eggnog, anyone want a cup?"
Elf Ernest grabbed some, Santa did too and when
kekemapa35 got hers she smiled and said "thank you!"

As for me lilnoelelf, I looked around in awe,
looking from the tall to the small.
as Santa turned and bent down to whisper in my ear
"this is what it's about, being with "your Christmas family"
spreading cheer 24/7 365 days out of the year!

Hope y'all have a blessed day see ya this evening!:yahoo:
oh my goodness lilnoelelf, that is abso wonderful. how in the world did you do all that? bless your heart!!
Good Morning, Christmas friends~

I can't believe Thanksgiving is @ a week away! Time sure flies when you're having fun! I wish it would slow down a bit, though. This truly is the most wonderful time of the year.

I've been fighting a cold/flu for over a week, and it finally won yesterday. I ended up thinking it was just allergies, but sadly no. I wish I was home & in bed under the covers. I feel like a zombie.

Hope you all are doing well~

Thinking of you, Lauriebear. Sending hugs your way. And keeping this young man in my prayers, hope he finds his way.

I'm very excited about the Christmas card exchange, am making some good leeway. I bought all of the stamps, and am @ 2/3 of the way done with the cards. They're so much fun!

Hope everyone has a great day!!

sweety i hope you get better very quickly. don't want you to miss a thing around the holidays. i'm praying for you.

It's snowing... A lot!!!!!
omg, i'm so jealous, you don't even know!!
And I got another full time job :)
woohoo that's great.(i guess, are you happy about it? if so i am for you!)
Talk about wierd weather! our leaves are at the peak color and it's 85F and humid it's just wierd to see the leaves fall and it feels like summer. It's cloudy so that makes the leaves look even prettier I think. In 2 weeks they will all be gone. I found out a good friend of mine's mom has died and his family asked me to be a pallbearer friday night. It's sad when our parents are aging and dying! ugh...and i feel awful that is happening this close to the holidays too. I have about 30 minutes left at work then Im going to go home shower and head over to the funeral home or his house to see the family....have a good afternoon all!
praying for your friend.

it's been a really hard day. work was rough.
nobody here @ home seems to be in a good mood @ all! think i'm skipping the pines tonight, someone can have my indian corn. ya'll take care!

It is finally cooling down here! I did some baking today for Thanksgiving and put it in the freezer. I have a lot of busy days ahead in case I am not on here much. Looks like I will be that pig Shellie posted! I will be moving fast!

Carl has a really nice hairdo!

Good evening!

I hope this finds everyone well! I only managed to read up to post 25230 - am way too tired to stay on the computer any longer - I'll catch up tomorrow.

Have a MERRY evening!!!!!!!

My Santa's are up and I'm my way to the Pines!!!!!!!!!

Seawaters and Holiday, I want a Keurig! I have tried samples from Keurig a couple of times, tried it from Macy's this past Saturday. The coffee is so fresh and yummy!

Keurig's are the best! If you get one, you will love having it!

Boy am I behind this year but I have a great excuse. We are filling out paperwork for adoption. That in and of itself is harder than I thought BUT it is going to be worth it once the first of the year gets here and we have a youngster in the house (well not young young, more like a TEENAGER!!!) But we got it all handled I think.

Good luck with the process. Please keep us updated!

Be sure to complain to the store, or to someone higher up the chain. That is not right, you should be compensated for less than adequate food.

Thanks again, Xmas.

Hi Christmas family! Sorry I've kind of been MIA the past day or so, but I've been so busy and I've hardly had any sleep. I've only been getting 4 hours or so, then getting a hour before going to work, so needless to say, I haven't had much time for on here.

I'm off tomorrow (thank goodness!) I plan on getting caught up on here. The kids are also going to daycare, so I will be able to get some much needed stuff done around the house.

Not much to report here. We had DS at the Peds doctor on Monday. He weighed 16 lbs 7 oz. He just turned 4 months on the 8th. He is a big boy! He is healthy though, so that's all that matters to me.

Well, I am going to keep reading some more of the posts, then go lay down for an hour and half or so before I have to get up and head to work. Talk to you all tomorrow. Hope you're all having a great evening!

Awww that was awesome lilnoelf!! Thanks for sharing!!

I came across this on Youtube the other day: It is a video/slideshow of my town before and after the tornado. It brings a tear to my eye to see it on how we were before June 1. As you watch my house (you don't see our house in the video) is less than a quarter mile from the First Church and Library, and it shows the High St railroad tracks, my street is just off of High St. It really just missed us, if you were looking out of our front window, you would have seen the tornado going across the top of the mountain.

It has been nearly 6 months, and I am still having dreams about it.

Wow, can't even imagine what that would be like to live through, thanks for sharing the video of the neighborhood, makes one appreciate the blessings we all have.

And I got another full time job :)

Congrats on the new job!

And a merry day to all! I was just telling someone that I may not be here all the time...but I always come back! Oh...I still have the Christmas Spirit in my heart ALWAYS - "life" just tends to happen as you all can relate too.

We are getting sooooooo close to Christmas!!! Oh yes...we put our Christmas tree up on Oct 30th! I just love sitting in the living room with all the lights off except for the glow of the Christmas Tree!

I'm curious about who else has their Christmas Tree up?

I've got lots of catching up to do on MMC!

I hope you all have a super day!

Great to hear from you, ChristmasHeart!

For those of you with young kitties know this problem all too well!

I cried yesterday as I walked through downtown Goderich. It was once such a beautiful place, we loved to go there for day trips because it is right on the lake. The damage from the F3 tornado is so much worse than the news portrayed.
I now understand a little better what you went through. Talking to folks they say the same thing, every time a storm comes they are watching the sky's.
