I'm starting a class...free enrollment....called how to spend a Saturday.

Know what we are going to do?

Nothing. We will have about 15 recliners....some big screen televisions, laptops (we gotta be able to get on MMC) and an endless supply of popcorn.

There isn't even a textbook.

Who's in?

That sounds SO good ... can I bring some classic-era movies?

Evening. I've got a very laid-back week ahead of me. Work experience. I am working with my father. I won't be working with him, since my father works as a maintenance man and I will be working in the kitchen. Thursday is the day for me and my family to put up the Christmas tree and decorate the house with decorations and everything. I can't wait. Catch you later.

:tree:Good early Morning, Christmas family!!!!

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving/weekend!!

It has been a great weekend so far~ I have not been around for a couple of days, and just caught up on all of your posts. They made me smile! :)

Thanksgiving was wonderful! Great food & company...and the Packers won!

Hubby & I have been busy bees putting up the remaining Christmas decorations (especially the tree, outdoor roof lights & village) and entertaining unexpected company whose flights were delayed. It has been crazy here, lol. This is my first chance to catch up.

Hope you all are doing well! Thinking of you all. Sending thoughts and prayers for those who need them! xo

Merry Christmas !!!!!!!!!

******** CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY 15 *******

Good Morning, Friends of the Christmas Season!

Well, this wonderful 2011 four-day Thanksgiving Weekend is about to draw to a close.
I hope it was a good one for each and every one of you.

But the count goes on.....
Days to Christmas Day: 28 (Would you believe -- FOUR WEEKS from today!)

Much warmer here this morning where we stand at 57 already, headed for a predicted high of 70 by this afternoon. REAL nice for late November in these parts.
(Three cheers for global warming!)

My family and I are about to head out and enjoy a breakfast buffet, then go by the NC Museum of Art to see their newly-opened Rembrant exhibit.
Should be a nice outing for the whole family. I'm looking forward to it.

Well, you have a Super Sunday, Everyone.
Enjoy the remainder of your Wonderous Weekend!

spent part of my day in London visiting with my daughter. Dropped off her advent calendar since she will not be home until the 15th.

Also got to watch Arthur Christmas! Loved it and high recommend it.
I believe that is the same advent calendar I have. It's a green cloth type with a mouse that you move? I think you have a picture posted here of it. It is so cute!

I want to see that Arthur movie. I am glad to hear it's good!
Well I didn't get anything done today. I started cleaning my apartment and then my mom wanted me to go with her to get a new tire put on her car. So we went and got that done and then went to arbys for lunch. When we came out of the restaurant there was a huge puddle of anti freeze under my mom's car. So we went to my aunt's house since it was only a mile away and that's where the majority of my tools are. It turned out to be her lower radiator hose. Once I had it changed my aunt wanted me to help her put up her Christmas tree. So I got it all put up and then headed to my sisters house to pickup a few things she had bought for me. She had just put her tree up and discovered that only half the lights were working. She wanted me to figure out why but I told her it wasn't worth it. Just go buy more lights and put them on it. So then I had to go with her to buy lights since my brother in law was going to a concert with his brother. When we got back from walmart I had to help her string the lights and then my mom helped her and the kids decorate it. So I left home at 11am and didn't get back home until after 7pm. Now I am exhausted.
Super Made at it again! When you get rested you can come help us at our house next! =)
Well!!!! I finally started my christmas shopping
Takes a little stress off me, thank the heavens!

Also, A radio station in vancouver has switched to 24-7 Christmas Music!! YAY! Now on my way to and from work I can listen to some Christmas Tunescheesy
I love the avatar of you and your man! You look so excited! When I read what you have typed it puts more emphasis on what you are saying seeing your excited picture. =)
I'll just say that I'm beginning to understand why people shoot their TV's.
Elvis started that trend. Ha ha!
..It is amazing how a few drinks and a festive atmosphere can make the difference,I even got out on the dance floor and was "churning the butter" ahh the memories...I think I could be up all night getting use to time difference but that is okay I guess!
We can't wait to see the video! =)
Well I've also ventured away from the christmas movies and now I'm watching Punkin Chunkin on discovery channel. This is my second year watching it and it looks like a lot of fun. I wonder what my apartment complex would say if I started building an air cannon behind my apartment.
I wanted to see that but ended up watching a Christmas movie instead.

I own the dvd, Rick Steves European Christmas, and have seen the festivities of children visiting the Grotto. It is so neat to see how you celebrate there! I watch that dvd all the time.

That sounds like a lot of fun! Enjoy your day!

That's my kind of school! I'm in!!!

Sounds even easier than when I went to the 10 minute university (graduated with honours!) Of course you have to buy a book for that course.

Good morning, MMC!

I hope this finds everyone well!

Dreary day out - I plan on finishing the projects I didn't finish yesterday. I also need to keep track of Palmer - she has become fascinated with my dish towels (grrrrrrr) and likes to untie all my shoes, especially when I am wearing them

Have a most MERRY day, my friends!!!!!!!!!!

Dreary day out -!
You will laugh at me but "dreary days" are beautiful days to me! I just love it when it's cloudy, hazy and cold out!!! Yesterday the temps were dropping throughout the day and got real cloudy and windy and it made me so happy. I kept telling Wayne that it's such a beautiful day out! We just get WAY too much sun here and WAY too much heat. The clouds are welcomed! :!!

Some people probably find this one annoying but I crack up every time I see it. This lady shopping is a trip!

Good morning, Christmas family! Dawg, I couldn't agree more about that Target woman. Somewhere, there are some pretty angry executives, I bet. That is AWFUL!

Since I'm opening a "How to Spend Your Saturday School", I feel as if I need to practice today so that I'm on my game for the first day of class next week. I'm kinda taking one for the team. So today I'm just going to sit and watch tv and not do much.

Made, Kurt Busch is stupid. Have you seen his temper tantrum? Idiot. I always tell my teachers, students, coaches, etc....in today's time, with cell phones having cameras...that we should just assume that when we act stupid, it's going to be filmed and put on Facebook or YouTube. Just amazing to me how adults can act.

Same here! I love cloudy days...I think it stems from all the years spend over in the UK. and the fact that here in the southeast you can go weeks if not months without cloudy weather! it is suppose to rain all day tomorrow and be cloudy today and it makes it feel more Christmassy to me!

Hi All!

I got back to Tallahassee yesterday via a free ride from my folks and.....I came home to 8 Christmas cards! To those of you who already sent me one (you know who you are ;-)).....thank you!!

Last night I went to Office Depot to buy mailing address labels.

Today will be a day to catch up, do grocery shopping and try to get back into my regular schedule.

Thanksgiving was good. I actually went for seconds and that's never happened!! Later today I'll get started on my Christmas cards!! :yahoo:

Wayne told me about that. He is not a smart guy. He seems to always have a temper. =(

Good to have you back!

I am trying to decide what to do today.. I am playing hooky from church and yes I feel guilty about that but what else is new..catholic guilt is a part of my life and always will be! I may just lay around all day...I can't believe november is rapidly coming to an end..and this coming friday is the day I offically enter my "late 30's" I may just be MIA a few days later in the week, not looking forward to that at all...BUT I am glad at least it's the Christmas season, and it's just a month away from the baby coming that is very very exciting! have a good day everyone!
