24 glorious days left:) happy December 1st my merry friends!!!

Merry Christmas to all & to all a good night!

*yawns* good morning!

It's Thursday but feels like a Wednesday. And it's COLD!! I just want to stay in my pajamas!! :hi:

Wednesday ... Pinesday! One day closer to the end of my four-day workweek! The cover for my Kindle Fire finally arrived, so now I can carry it with me safely. Friday will be my day for setting up my Christmas trees. If I'm too pooped to decorate them, I can do that over the weekend. I just realized this morning that while I'm setting up the new one in the TV room, I can listen to LPs---there's a turntable in there that gets used too seldom.
that's awesome, nothing sounds like an LP on the turntable. have fun w/ your decorating!!

In addition to the other suggestion above---After you type your post in the box but before you submit it, scroll down to the box that says "Attach Files" and click the button that says "Manage Attachments." A window will open that will enable you to upload a photo from your computer. It should appear in a little window in the post. Viewers can click on the picture to see it larger.

If your photo is in an MMC or online album, just click the picture button in the toolbar above and paste in the URL of the photo. It'll appear embedded in the text of your post.

Hope this helps!

Lunch time has arrived! I will just have a glass of juice though I am too nervous to eat,I have a test for work this afternoon and I need to study some more during lunch hour. The weather is so good finally! It's brisk and cool 49F with the wind blowing. I spoke with my brother (mike) who is just now leaving L.A and he told me he could miss his flight in Salt Lake City because of 30 min connection time,at any rate he should be here at least my 9 pm tonight. Brandi is at home until the baby comes and she is getting use to not working and trying to tie up all loose ends before the baby(jordan) arrives. She has never even met my brother so I am looking forward to them meeting. I also found out my in laws from Boston are indeed coming down south to visit us at Christmas,or when the baby comes which ever comes first. So I am looking forward to spending time with them this Christmas. Well I better get back to this test prep...have a great afternoon everyone!
dawg you & brandi have a busy holiday don't you? glad your test is over. i hope ya'll have a great visit w/ your bro. take care!
Just as my daughter and her husband are finally feeling better now my oldest grandson is sick.

Eight people have been sick in the family off and on since the end of October. When does it end!? My son and I are the only ones who have not been sick.
cah, sorry to hear about your families sickness. bless ya'lls hearts. i hope ya'll all get better quick, fast, & in a hurry!
uggg :( my little brother (13 years old) is hospitalized tonight... they are busy with him right now.... i wish i could help in some way....
kerstig i will be praying for your brother, you take care too!
Hey guys and gals. Posting from iPhone in hospitAl bed. Appendix ruptured, so I'm gonna be down a couple of days. But rest assured I will
Be back inaction in no time.
sorry to hear about that coach, i've heard that is very painful. i am praying for you!!
Hi Everyone! I wanted to log in last week to say I just love my MMC Cookbook. And was really happy to see some of my recipes in it. I have been busy with work and also working on getting my tree(s) up. I plan to do a second tree this year and decorate it with vintage ornaments and such. I would like your input on which Angel tree topper I should use this year. Hope everyone is doing good. I still have lots of shopping to do and baking. I just love this time of the year. I am posting a picture on the Angel toppers. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

i like both but the one on the left does look a bit more retro/vintage. i know it
will look great.
Good evening, Christmas family and happy first of December !!

UGH ! work was so tiring tonight. Thank goodness Thursday is my Friday. I DVR'd The Rockefeller Center special and I think my favorite performance on it was Michael Buble. I don't have anything against Justin Bieber - he just isn't my style. Actually, if more kids felt like he does, it could really make a difference !! I was reading his bio and he is one 17-year-old who actually professes his faith. Anyway, people of our age said the same sorts of things about The Beatles when they came out. I didn't realize how much older some of the singers are getting. Neil Diamond, Carole King, goodness !! Tony Benett, bless him. I really like that man. There is just something about his personality that seems nice.

Wish is lying here beside me peacefully sleeping. I have a fire burning and I have Music Choice on (Christmas music, of course !)

Thursday is my dear sister's birthday. She is going to be 68. I can't wait to give her the presents I got her. She mentioned once that she might like to have some watercolor paints to fool around with. I can remember her always painting and drawing - She taught me how to draw - so I got her a deluxe watercolor kit and an easel and paper !! I hope she is going to like them.

I have to tell you. Do you all remember the fiasco I went through trying to adopt that puppy ?? Well, that lady who has Lola called here this morning ! I didn't answer and let the machine get it. I don't want to go through that whole thing again and get hurt again when she decides she wants to keep her. I just don't think it is right or considerate to back peddle like that....

Kerstig ((hugs)) to you xo Praying for your brother xo

((Seawaters)) I am starting to get worried about you xo I hope you feel better soon !!

Christmasstar - Your cake was Brilliant !!! So wonderful !! xo Good luck !! You have already won top prize if it were up to me ! xo

CAH - I hope everyone starts to feel better in your family soon xo

Dawg - Praying for your dad xo And also for your test results - You deserve the VERY best in everything.

Big ((hugs)) as usual to all the MMC Furkids Including Ella, Snickers, Harlowe, Snowball, Scooby, Sasha, CAHs furkids, Xmas' kitties, and all furkids everywhere xo

Goodnight Christmas family ((HUGS)) to you

PS: Coach - Praying you feel better soon !! A ruptured appendix is nothing to play around with - I am so glad they caught and that you must have had an angel watching over you because once they rupture things can get very serious xo

cm3 happy birthday to your sis, your gift for her sounds wonderful. i don't blame you for not answering that ladies call, i mean come on you can't play w/ someones heartstrings like that going back & forth. have a great day cm3.

godd morning Christmas family! i am praying for ya'll.
well it's the 1st of december....wow! getting closer & closer. after saturdays open house @ work i'll be able to focus in on the shopping & baking more. can't wait!
star your gingerbread house is soooo awesome, i love it.
the shopping i've got to do seems unending but i think it's always like that for me before i start.

seawaters i'm praying for your recovery from this, bless your heart!

to everyone a merry december 1st!!:tree:

******** CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY 19 ********

Good New Month Morning, and a HAPPY DECEMBER to One and All!

Hard to believe, isn't it? December already.
(Wasn't it just January a short time ago when the 2011 count started?)

What else is hard to believe?
This:
Days to Christmas Day: 24
(Hey! We're now under 3 1/2 weeks off!)

Even colder here this morning where we have started out at 34, but under clear skies with no predicted chance of rain. Startlingly Seasonal!

Allrighty! You have a Thrilling Thursday. Folks.
Weekend Eve tomorrow, you know.
First weekend of December! Live it up!

(And while your're living it up, grab a photo or two for the Blossoms thread. Not much more time left to post your Christmas photos!)

Good evening,

It was the longest night ever at work tonight, I get to go back in bright and early tomorrow. My head is still hurting, but not as much as this morning. I got some Christmas shopping done today, just a bit more to shop for my loving wifeypooh. She also took a personal day for Tuesday so we can go out Christmas shopping for our boys and go out for lunch and probably get some wrapping done also. We are 54 minutes away from December, the greatest month of the year.

Have a GREAT night!
You sound like Wayne. He will get a headache that just does not want to go away. I hope yours goes away soon!

You two have fun shopping!
My daughter, who just turned 2 in September sang the ABC's tonight to me. Now granted she didn't do it perfect, but she got the whole way through. She's also been counting to 20 this past week to. When she did the the ABC thing tonight, I started balling like a baby. I was skeptical at first about daycare, but it has been a blessing from God for my kids.
I love hearing my 2 year old granddaughter sing! How sweet of yours to sing you the ABC's!

I did miss some of the Rockefeller special. :-? I did see the last part and loved when Michael Buble sang Silver Bells at the end.
That's awesome to read about your daughter. My daughter turned 2 in late July and it seems as if the milestones are acheived at a rapid pace. It's certainly great to see them progressing along, but each milestone that passes is a step farther away from when they were babies. My son just turned 6 this past Saturday and it just amazes me how bright he is in complex thought, yet gone are the baby traits for the most part...rather, they are just figments to reminisce over in memory.
Kids are amazing!

Good to see you on here, usafvet!
And it's COLD!! I just want to stay in my pajamas!! :hi:
I do too! =)

Ok Christmas Kookies. All my cards and packages went out yesterday. Hope all like the cards and those that get packages like what they got. Loves and hugs and frozen Lightening bugs.

We got an early Christmas present. The judge said in court that he wants DSS and the clerk of court to finish the adoption process in February instead of dragging it into the spring. Baby Elizabeth (who is now 2 1/2 actually) should be ours for good in a few months.

There will be no downtime at the office for a few weeks due to a big ongoing job, so you'll hear less of me. Didn't get on last night---a tree was down on our street and took some electric wires with it, so the electricity was off from 8 p.m. until past 3 a.m. Cars couldn't pass in or out, and the police wouldn't let anyone walk through, so Mr. had to park at a car dealership on the highway and follow a neighbor down a back way through thorns and branches to get home. His legs were all covered with scratches and scrapes, and his pant legs were torn. We couldn't get out, so with the electricity out, we had to have cold cereal for dinner.

Take care, everyone---I don't have time to respond to individuals, but I'm wishing you all well and happy.

I agree completely. Buble was the best of the group!

Bieber and the back-up group made a mockery of The Christmas Song. All that florid quavering.
(Rather like putting a grossly overdone frame around what could otherwise have been a nice painting.)

The old guys (Bennett and Diamond) were great to see as you say, but to be honest, they really can't sing effectively any more.

Was quite pleased so many of the songs were traditional Christmas selections.

That's great news, Murph! Merry Christmas to you, huh?
:???:

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

We had a little excitement in Bellville last night. I heard some sirens and went outside to find fire trucks and firemen in the street in front of our house. They had an automated smoke call from a neighbor's house, but they didn't find anything, thank goodness.

I finally got the pool cover, so I'm going to close our pool this weekend. I've been pouring the chlorine to it before I cover it, and I stepped up on the deck to put another bag in this morning. My feet almost came out from under me because of the ice on the deck! Nice!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

That is so exciting, congratulations!

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!!!! It's going to be a sunny day here in central Indy with a high of 45 degrees. I don't know what I'm going to do today. I need to do some cleaning and then I should finish wrapping the rest of my niece's gifts but I'm just not motivated. So maybe I'll just watch Christmas shows all day. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it really December 1st? Wow. This year has flown by.

Good Morning all and Happy December! I looked outside this morning and to my delight everything was white with frost! My wife and I are going to a Christmas play and dinner this evening and I'm looking forward to that. I hope you all have a great day! :tree:
