Wow....I remember us talking about her filming that. Has it been that long? Seems like it was late September or early October...unbelievable.

I know. It seems like it was just a couple of days ago but I doubled checked. It was filmed on May 16th and 17th. Then she posted the pictures to facebook on the 18th.

Can the afternoon be any slower?!?

Ok, I have a confession to make: I don't have a tree up yet. Yeah...me! The call me Clark Griswold around here, and I'm the one who's late with the tree!

We're going tonight to the nearby tree lot to pick one up. We're decorating tomorrow, and I can't wait to have it all up.

I hope y'all have a great evening! cheesy

Well our trip to the Christmas parade and tree lighting went horrible. My sister and aunt were sick and didn't go. My brother in law also didn't go because he was at work. So that left just me and mom to watch my niece's and it might as well have just been me because mom was to busy shopping at the craft booths. The choir singing was the first thing going on. They little part I heard sounded good. I was kind of busy dealing with one niece who was complaining her stomach hurt and another one crying because she squeezed her hot chocolate cup to hard and spilled it all over herself. Then they moved onto the live nativity. There was to many people and my niece's couldn't see. So that led to another breakdown and trip to the car to let everyone warm up and calm down. We missed the tree lighting while we were at the car but they didn't even stop traffic in the streets this year so you really couldn't get a good view of the tree anyways. Then it was time for the parade. My youngest niece had a melt down because the sirens were to loud on the police car and my older niece was mad because the 10 cars that made up the parade weren't throwing candy. After the parade we left and headed out to scout for Christmas lights. There were a few good displays but nothing to spectacular. So the night didn't go completely as planned but I got to see Santa and some Christmas lights so I guess it wasn't completely horrible.
sounds like a perfectly normal day out with kids to me!
Glad you go to see Santa!

Call me crazy, but I hope to get scouted one day. I don't care if it's for a top club in Australia or England or if it's for reserve grade. Playing in front of a crowds is always good. I don't mean to be modest, but here is a little bit of information about me. I'm a striker, the leading goal scorer for my team, the leading goal scorer for my school team, the leading goal scorer for my futsal team, I've got one of the most deadliest strikes in my age group and I have been told that I have a bright future in football, whether it's for local league or playing at a high level. Catch you later everybody. Dinner awaits.

we will send some scouts over right away..

oops, wrong scouts! LOL

Hope it all goes well for you and your dreamss come true!

Good afternoon, everyone!

I have just enough time for a quick visit. Kim and I had fun at her work Christmas party last night. We were to search for a Christmas sweater today, however, the party may have been changed to just a regular party. A little unfortunate, but we'll still have a good time!

The Kings game is on in a couple hours. Until then, I think we may head out and do something for a little bit. It seems like such a waste staying home for the entire weekend (there is football to watch tomorrow). Hopefully Kim and I can find some motivation to head out for a couple hours!

Hope you all are enjoying the weekend. 21 days into the Christmas Season! Strange that we've made it this far already. And, we are exactly three weeks from Christmas Eve! The most magical night of the year. Can't wait to (hopefully) countdown with to Christmas with you all in three weeks.

Have a great Saturday, everyone!!

I like the idea of a Christmas sweater party! I think I am going to suggest is to my family for next years party.

did you make it to Parliament Hill for the turning on of the Christmas lights?

Hi all. Hope you're all having a great day! Off to go to church and out to eat with my family afterwards.

Nothing new here to report. I am trying to convince my husband to let me order tickets for the Kenny Chesney/Tim McGraw concert in Pittsburgh in June. They are both amazing in concert, as we have seen Kenny once and then Tim once twice, once with his with Faith Hill. I think because of Christmas being in a few weeks, that is why he is giving me a hard time. If we would buy the most expensive tickets, we're looking at spending over $500 just in tickets alone! If we would get the cheapest, it would only be around $100. I think I had him convinced then. I hope!

Well, I should get going. I promise to try to start getting caught up on the posts tomorrow. It is just so hard on my weekends to work because I am so busy too. I hope you all have a great evening! Stay Christmasy! :busy:
