Good Morning Everyone!!!!! It is going to be a cloudy cool day here in central Indy. I have some cleaning to do today and then I'm thinking about making some pumpkin muffins. I'm also thinking about running to the store to try and finish buying for my mom. The only problem is I don't know what to get her. So maybe I'll wait and try to get some more ideas from her. Well I'm off to do something. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

The unseasonably warm weather continues as we enjoy yet another nice morning where we stand at 61 degrees under skies that foretell rain.
Hit a high of 71 yesterday and could exceed that figure today.

Just got done watching the Bruins vs Penguins game, the Bruins won (sorry CJ & Sugar) great game between my 2 favorite hockey teams.

Tim Thomas was very solid in the net last night, made some great saves! Tough loss for the Pens but still very awesome game to watch still.

Thank you so much! This is a hard Christmas for my family anyway, and with the added stress from my uncle, who was just taken back to the hospital by my father is going to make it even more difficult

No never have been there, I live less than 200 miles away from NYC, so it would be an easy daytrip.

I've only ever been there at Christmas time before and it was sooo wonderful. You would love it. I hope you get to go next year or soon.

Please pray for my grandma and uncle as we are having a tough year. My uncle is mourning the loss of his father (passed in September) by heavily drinking, which ironically is the cause of him being unable to mourn in September with the rest of the family (he was drinking alot and fell down the stairs and was in ICU until right before Thanksgiving).

You and your family will be in my prayers. This is a hard thing to deal with, even harder at the holidays. May God be with you at such a difficult time.

we watched Charlie Brown too. me, daughter, & hubby. hubby couldn't wait for it to be over...he's such a party pooper!

You know, DH can be like that too, but yet he calls me from work last night and wants to know what channel Charlie Brown as over and say to him, "I told you it was on at 8." Mind you it was 8:29. The guys and him wanted to watch it at work. They are all still kids at heart and I don't want to hear it from him!

Good morning, Christmas family! Hope you're all having a great day as far. I ended up falling asleep on the couch last night and the dog woke me up to go outside, thank goodness or I would have been pretty stiff this am.

Got the kids to daycare around 8:30 and went to see DH real quick so he could have DS carseat (we just have one carrier since babies grow out of those so quickly!) and I was only there probably 2 minutes and he got a fire call. Figures... :lol: Anyway, so I am back here, watching lots of Christmas tv and I at some point I need to get motivated to get stuff done around the house.

No real plans this evening. I need to figure out what to make for dinner. I do work tonight at 11, so I have to sneak in a nap at some point before DH and the kids come home since I will probably only get an hour of sleep tonight before heading to work.

I will have my Christmas shopping finished hopefully by Thursday night. Was hoping to finish it all today, but with an emergency stop at the dentist for a toothache that didnt happen.

Have to go back next week for two fillings and the nerve endings to be pulled from where a crown came loose and I swallowed it .

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Wifey-poo finally came home from her overnight trip to Atlanta with her sister. Of course, the kids had to study for 5 tests scheduled for today, so she came in and went to work with them. Welcome home, honey!

I finally got the cover put on the pool yesterday afternoon. I am tickled to death! I was told that if I didn't want to drain the pool below the skimmer and drain the pump completely, I'd have to get a timer so that it runs at night, to keep it from freezing. I can't decide whether or not to drain it. Since it's supposed to be 80° today, I might take the cover off & go swimming!

I went to my last city council meeting as a councilman last night. The next time I walk into that building, I'll be the mayor! We always meet on the first Monday in the month, but the first Monday in January is January 2. That means I'd have to be sworn in on New Years Day...unlikely. So, I asked the council to reschedule the first meeting to the next Monday. That will give us time to do the swearing-in and plan a reception for the outgoing mayor (and his wife, who is currently our clerk). Busy, busy!

Lastly, Best Buy has another tablet on sale! It's a 10" Android by Asus. I think this is the one! Linky!

It was very cold all day yesterday and made for a perfect day to bake. I baked all day long!

I had Christmas music playing real loud and singing my lungs out. I am glad there was not a hidden camera, that would have been an embarrassing site for me! :lol: My doggies were looking at me funny and I told them to sing and dance along with me! When I said that to them they wagged their tail. =)

Work in about 2 hours. I am going to DVR the Michael Buble Christmas special that is on tonight !! I watched the new Prep and Landing special and I am a little disappointed in it but I am going to watch it again to see if I like it any better.

Hugs to you guys as well and hope your DH feels better soon. My DH has a cold too - I am trying not to get one either. That is all I need to Christmas. One of our first Christmas's together I was sooo sick with all of that junk - I don't need that this year!
