GOod morning everyone! I got up to let my dog out to relieve himself and I thought it was much much later that it really is. ONly 130!!! it has taken him long enough for me to log in here and catch up on the countdown! I will try to be around here tomorrow for the party! I also logged onto the weather channel website and got our 12 day forecast. lows in the 40's highs in the 60's but then on day 9 and 10 which is the 19th of december highs in the upper 70's towards 80!! that is simply unreal for this time of year. I dont ever remember it being this warm I still have not worn my winter clothes. I guess I will start looking forward to next year when we won't(hopefully)be in a La Nina winter! have a good morning everyone!

So sad to hear that but working with anaimals and hand rearing baby parrots i now how hard it is to save something. i have the same brooders that is shown in the pictiue they are brillant
In any animals life the must important thing is the 1st feed frim the mum but thanks god we have stuff made by the bird care company which is a probabic and can help the stomach. and i have given it to many a animal

Hello Christmas Family

it's been over a week since I posted in here. just alot of things going on in my everyday life that has me not in the so Christmasy mood. just wanna ask for prayers cause I truly believe right now my faith is being tested,HARD!!!

Long story short, my sister isn't going to be able to be here for christmas, we havent seen one another in 20 years. and my brothers wife left him after 4 and a half years of marrage and a almost 3 year old son. he is heart broken as all of us.I'm just numb. he couldn't figure out what he did wrong. and it's just so many things with this story................

on a happy note Hope the kitten is doing well and her leg is healing fine.


just keep me and my famly in your prayers please!

How sad for your brother he must be gutted. but he will have to try and get on with it for the sake if the kid.
He will get over it might not think that now but he will.
And an sure you were looking forward to seeing your sister but lifes a pain sometimes.

Good Morning, Folks.

And so we begin week five of Christmas Season 2011.
(Hard to believe, isn't it?)

This is also hard to believe:
Days to Christmas Day: 14
TWO WEEKS FROM TODAY!!
(Now just think about that as you round out your next-to-the-last weekend before Christmas Eve!)

Cold once again here where we started out at 33 and have only improved to 36 .
No rain in the foreseeable future, however.

Well, the Raleigh Ringers handbell choir was inpressive yesterday and as an added bonus, a symphony orchestra played with them on some selections.
Not all the songs were Christmas ones but enough were to make you feel "holiday-ish"!
Unfortunately my nieces were bored. But give them a few years -- they'll come around!! (I hope.)

Well, Folks, enjoy the rest of your weekend.....and have a Super Sunday while you're at it!

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a little bit warmer today with a high of 38 degrees. Were not going to warm up as much as Dawg but it looks like we will be looking at mid 50's by the middle of the week. I have a few quick things to do this morning and then I'll be around for the rest of the party. I hope you all join me for the Christmas Collectibles chat at 3pm. even though this has been a VERY challenging year, my christmas spirit is stronger than ever. i'm enjoying every second of the build up and look forward to 2012, it's going to be my year, i know it! at the very least it can't be any worse than 2011.... can it????

Can you believe in two weeks is Christmas. It's always exciting but then it gets a little sad because the two days(24th & 25th) go by so fast and we are then left with the countdown again. So enjoy the next two weeks and really take it in.

I was thinking the same. I haven't done enough Christmasy things yet!

my brother went down to the States to take in some of your great sites...he was really surprised when coming up to Mt Rushmore from Canada, especially since this view of the mountain is not generally shown on pictures of the area.

I didn't even get through our first movie last night, Muppet Christmas Carol. One hour into it I was asleep at 7:45 pm!!! Then didn't get out of bed until almost 8 am!

I feel kind of bummed out that now the big party is here that I am going to miss most of it. Still feeling kind of yucky from being sick but will go on into work today and might try to get to church this morning, if I can get myself together. Depending on how I feel at the end of the day I will do my best to get on here and join the rest of the party!!!

Good Morning Everyone! Two weeks until Christmas, wow! Yesterday was a very productive day--my husband and I got the apartment thoroughly clean in preparation for Christmas decorating. We brought up what was in our apartment storage unit and I've gotten some of it up. Funny how just putting a cushion that says "Merry Christmas" on the couch can lift my mood...

Well, church today then we're picking up the tree! Yay!!!! Have a good day everyone! :merry:

good evening all!

just sipping a bucks fizz, watching deck the halls and admiring the glow of my beautiful christmas tree.

it's been a tough year, i lost my precious grandmother in january, my wonderful auntie in june and my dearly loved cousin in november. my aunt and cousin were huge shocks with no warning, they were also far too young to go.

even though this has been a VERY challenging year, my christmas spirit is stronger than ever. i'm enjoying every second of the build up and look forward to 2012, it's going to be my year, i know it! at the very least it can't be any worse than 2011.... can it????
