Someone posted about making Tobelerone cookies within the past few days. I got the recipe online, bought the candy today, and will make the cookies this week. The recipe looks DIVINE!!!

Another burnout day at the office, with plenty more to come. Thinking of all of you and sending up prayers for one and all. This has not been a sparkling Christmas season---I hope that Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and the Monday holiday will help to make up for it before returning to the "salt mines" on the 27th.

This is good news ... I'm so behind on my Christmas movies! Tell Carl to dig out the old 16mm Bell & Howell, 'cause I'm bringing a print of "Star in the Night" to screen for everybody! (It's less than half an hour, so there'll be plenty of time for all the other movies.) I'll probably be running late, but I'll be there!

Good afternoon. I can't believe how close Christmas is. I'm so excited. Getting a new phone and I'm spending it with the people I love. That's what I'm talking about. I have to give my parents a lot of credit. The mall is like a zoo. It's chaotic. I hope everybody has a safe and Merry Christmas.

Just getting back from the grocery store it was a madhouse...I had a list of things to get in produce and some kid who worked in the produce dept was on the phone laughing the whole time i was looking for green onions and could not find them so after 10 minutes I walked up to him and asked him to help me and he pointed to where they were and I said no walk over and show me I have been looking over there for 10 minutes...my nerves are shot..and at this point I am just ready for everything to calm down..I feel like such a scrooge this year...my lights inside half of them are not working now. My outside lights I have completly gave up on..so I guess it's only natural my indoor lights will start failing now..I feel like I am going to go to sleep tonight and be visited by 3 ghosts! oh and it's going to be in the upper and 70's to low 80's all this week. I hope everyone is doing good and is having a great week this week!

we just got back from the store too, just as crazy here in Canada!
I am missing several strings of lights, no idea what has become of them.
It was cold here, but all the snow is gone!!

I just said something to my DH about it and I said, "Did you lie to me and make me look like an idoit?" Haha...he said he actually thought one of the news people said that. Glad you're okay then!

That's great news what the doctors said! I think your typing looks younger too! :grin: LOL

I had a wonderful time at my breakfast this morning. I did find good deals shopping this morning too, so I am now officially done, thank goodness. I also found a coat too!

The chiropractor worked wonders with me, too. My right hip was out, which was causing me the most problems. I have to go 4 more times, then start going every 6 weeks to keep the problem from happening he said. Hope it will help. I believe it will!

Thanks, sugar & Made! They made it to Wichita & are getting a hotel for the night. They said it was touch & go in some areas, but that there was more rain than anything. They were worried about ice, but it wasn't freezing temps until they had stopped. Phew! Thanks again for thinking of them.
So glad to hear you had a nice day, sugar- and that the chiropractor helped. I can't believe your right hip was out- ouch! Hope you're on the mend!
