Good Morning Everyone!!!!! It is going to be another wet one here in central Indy. I have to babysit today so my sister can finish her christmas shopping and then we are taking mom out for her Birthday tonight. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

I have tried numerous times to stay on here and read the countdown post only to have a hard time with the pages loading. Good sign we are busy on here!

I am still suffering a cold and trying to stay Merry through it all!

I just hope to be well by Christmas Day! Our day will start out with going to work to feed the animals. We are closed but the critters must get fed. Then off to church and home to celebrate Christmas with the family! A few people will be here at my house getting things ready for Christmas while I am gone in the morning to lessen up the work here! =)

A slight possibility of a little snow on Christmas Eve mixed in with rain. Some snow is better than no snow!!!

I know, it's so busy here! Lots of Christmas spirit going around!

Is anyone going to watch the outback bowl on Jan 2nd with Michigan state vs Georgia? Meceka aren't you in Michigan?? Anyhow it's in tampa fl, tampa,Miami,and jacksonville all host annual Bowl games and all the traffic comes through here around Jan1 st on I-75...for a few days it's bumper to bumper all the way through atlanta,plus with the regular holiday traffic! I always like the hustle and bustle of these last 2 weeks of the year! And I like the slow down after the first of the year although it can be depressing!

The public safety radio action is hopping for this event each year too! Listen here.

MerryCarey, did your co-worker respond yet? Try to do not feel bad about it, some people are just socially not that strong, and maybe she feels embarrassed because she did not get you something, or she just isn't that great at expressing her gratitude.
I think it's a very nice surprise to put a gift-bag on someones chair, i'm sure it spreads the joy!


I hope all of yuou are well! Today I baked two cakes, made some ganache and wrapped my gifts! Now I'm going to continue with my christmas news quiz, i also got my shopping done, all I really still have to do is cook and get some homework done!

Well, my parent's made it to Albuquerque, NM last night. And they called & said they got an early start this morning. Hope they have good roads & weather ahead of them today. God willing, they will get to Vegas tonight! I can't wait to see them!

Last night, we sat in front of the tree & watched Polar Express. Then, the new Prep & Landing. Very cute!

How's everyone's weather? So strange this year.

It's cool & very breezy here, with dust & high wind warnings. Highs near 50. I'd love some flurries! Hey, it's happened before! Plus, this is the time of the year that miracles happen, right?!

Darlene Love's "Baby Please Come Home" is on the radio. I'm thinking of you all! Hope you all have a jolly day!!!!!!!

Good morning, Christmas friends. Chilly and breezy here in northern California. I have to get Hubby's gift today while he is out gathering donations for the Elks Scholarship Crab Feed. Well, excitement is building here at the office. Many Christmas presents have been shipped here for the secretaries' family members, and we are also celebrating Hanukkah along with Christmas because our wonderful boss is Jewish. One of the girls found a Hanukkah CD last week, and we play it along with the Christmas CD's. The patients are interested, but some of them are now confused. It seems that one elderly patient was in the waiting room telling everyone that the 8 days of Hanukkah were a lead-up to Christmas Day. That tickled my Boss no end; he thought it was pretty funny.

I haven't been around here for a while, I hope your are all well.
I'm having a great time nowadays: never did as much christmas shopping as this year. I even took some days off, so I could enjoy it more! I also like te take a walk in town in the evening, to watch all the christmas lights and ornaments. I wish I could stop time for a while.

Hello All

Hi all , It has ben sometime that I have posted. As some of you may know this has been a difficult year for me. I want you to know that your thoughts and prayers are much appreciated. I did put up a tree this year. I know my husband would have been very dissappointed if I didnt. It almost seemed insulting to him ,his memory and our life together to not put one up. It certainly dorest have the same "Christmas Sparkle" that our trees of the past have had put at least its up. Hope you are all well. I'll be lurking around over the next few days, hopefully I can get caught up.
