I am done working for 2011!!!! Only problem is I have surgery tomorrow afternoon. It should be a quick procedure, but nerve racking just the same. I have solved my "problem" at work and it looks like I have made a great friend, I am so glad I took CM3's advice.

I am glad to hear you are done working&you got your problem resolved, now you can truly enjoy Christmas. I will think of you during your surgery! I'm sure every thing will work out well!

I haven't been on in awhile.. school and college stuff has been very stressful and time consuming.. but now i'm on break so I should be on more often.

Just 41 years ago I gave birth to my first child. We came home from the hospital on Christmas Eve, 1970. So much has happened in my life since then. During Christmas 2007, my second child was diagnosed with leukemia. My third child, a daughter, had a stroke during labor when she was 22, and my granddaughter was born with cerebral palsy because of that. BUT I totally REFUSE any of that to color my Christmas Spirit. If WE don't believe, then who will????

Hi all , It has ben sometime that I have posted. As some of you may know this has been a difficult year for me. I want you to know that your thoughts and prayers are much appreciated. I did put up a tree this year. I know my husband would have been very dissappointed if I didnt. It almost seemed insulting to him ,his memory and our life together to not put one up. It certainly dorest have the same "Christmas Sparkle" that our trees of the past have had put at least its up. Hope you are all well. I'll be lurking around over the next few days, hopefully I can get caught up.

Hi every one! I need to get some work done before Christmas, somewhat stressing out, but also joyful because of the approaching Christmas! I'm sitting with my back against the heater, with two stacks of books next to me and my Christmas blanket around me, and my santa mug filled with coffee standing on top of my books. If I have to work, it's not going to take away my Christmas spirit!

HI my christmas friends.. 2 days omg guess this is what they call christmas eve eve
got away last night and got some things another run should do me
We have to do the shop today as one of the girls asked for the day of and she only does 3 days a week it has put me under a bit of preasure i did ask another one of the girls that does part time could she do it but she had plans. but my parnter says he will do it and i can do other thiings

Just popping in for a quick visit. It's only two days until the big day and I'm not in the Christmas mood at all. I don't know what to do. The movies haven't been doing anything for me. Maybe it's because I have seen all of them, but it hasn't been just that. It's the first Christmas without my sister and my parents have been arguing. Mum has been great, but my dad is hot and cold. One moment he is nice and jolly, then another moment he is angry and bitter. I'm having trouble and I really hope to be in the Christmas mood by the big day. I'm going to see the Christmas lights tomorrow night with family friends and watch the carols when I get home, so I hope that changes everything.

I wanted to get on here before traffic gets to heavy, I did have trouble getting on this early though. Depending on how I am feeling, I will try to be on here for the "Love-fest" tonight. I have been awake for more than an hour and I cannot go back to sleep, the surgery is weighing heavily in my mind, I know it is routine, but I haven't "gone under the knife" since I had my appendix out back in 1986. I wanted to get on here before traffic gets to heavy, I did have trouble getting on this early though. Depending on how I am feeling, I will try to be on here for the "Love-fest" tonight. Good morning everyone! stilll no baby! but brandi is feeling somewhat better and the fake contractions have stopped. Her parents are flying this afternoon from Mass. I talked to my dad last night and he sounded really depressed and I think it's getting to him that he really wants to go home since it's the holidays. And I guess I feel the same way,I feel like I need to be there with him and my mom but I can't with the baby about to come I can't be 2 places at once...anyhow I hope my dad can recover some more and be home by May! Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!! It's going to be a sunny day here with a high of 44 degrees. It's going to be a busy day. I have to run to the grocery store and then it will be back home to make up the macaroni salad and a couple pies. Then it's off to my sisters to babysit again since she didn't get to do her shopping yesterday. Then it will be time to come here and ring in Christmas Eve with Darlene Love. I can't believe it's been a year already and that Christmas is just 2 days away. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!
