I am going to try that for New Year's Eve and have leftovers on New Year's Day. Thanks bunches!!! Do you do anything different for your deviled eggs?

Sauce
1qt miracle whip
1tsp apple cider vinegar
1 1/4 cup sugar
Yellow food coloring optional

I add that to one 16oz box of macaroni as soon as I drain it and then I mix in diced celery, onion, and hard boiled eggs. I normally use about 6 or 7 stalks of celery, 1 large onion, and six eggs.

I am right there with you! I've been sick all day. I am missing my in-laws Christmas, but there was no way I could make it. I hope this is just a 24 hour thing and tomorrow I will be all well. I hope you feel better soon. And yes, when Mom is sick, nothing gets done. LOL

Hope you are feeling better today!

tomorrow at 10 we will leave to visit with my brother and his family and eat a big christmas lunch there and spend quality time with the family

Hope you had a nice time!

It is great to "see" you here. I just wish you felt better. I have just a smidgen of a headache, but not a lot going on here that I have to be in tiptop condition. I still have two projects to finish before tomorrow!!!

Hope you're feeling better today as well!

Hey everyone! I am slowly getting caught up on the posts from the past 48 hours.

DH , the kids, and I are going up to his mom and dad's for dinner tonight, then I work at 11.

Hope everyone has a great evening!

Well I have been up since 4am and now I am exhausted. I think I went to every store on the east side of Indy but I just didn't find much of anything. I bought 5 ornaments and a blow up santa for outside. Normally I would buy 20 ornaments at target alone but I just wasn't impressed. I couldn't even find a Santa that I liked. Most of the money I spent was on stuff for my niece's. I got them a Santa that sits in a bath tub and sings "splish splash I was taking a bath". I also got them several ornaments and one of those little electric donut makers. Well I guess I should start cleaning this apartment. It looks like a bomb has went off in here. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

I was shocked! Father said the Vigil Mass was packed, so we had a half-filled church on Christmas Day!!!

Our's was packed for Vigil Mass too and was beautiful!

Where did you get that? EA would love that!

We used to go every December when I attended the California Math Conference at Asilomar. Many happy memories; just wish there was more money for teachers for conferences!

I am SO looking forward to this! We've been there three or four times before, but always with family members. This will be the first time with just the two of us!

I am going to take a break to write up a menu and grocery list for this weekend. I just love looking at the food in the Christmas magazines. On the menu for sure will be Made's Mac Salad!!!

Hi everyone! Hope you all are having a nice day so far. Last night I was extremely bummed that Christmas was almost over. Today? I'm making my best effort to make it Christmas, round two! We are having the same delicious food, carols are on the radio, and we are going to watch a Christmas movie or two tonight. My mom and I just had some wedding soup and salad for lunch together, now we're going to venture out to the mall. Hopefully it's not too crowded!

I was looking through the guide on my television and I saw Rudolph is going to be on tonight. I got super excited until I saw it was the New Years special. Blah. Please, can I have some Christmas shows back?

I just hate how it goes from constant Christmas shows, specials, movies, and songs to "hey let's just hurry up and rip all of our decorations down and get all of the boring programming back on!" Boo!

Back from dropping my daughter off at work. Stopped in at the mall quick, not very busy there. I did get wrapping paper and Christmas cards for next Christmas!

Good evening everyone! Hope everyone is doing great!
The post-Christmas blues are starting to set in a little for me, but fighting them off by trying to tell myself that it is still the holiday season for another week and I got lots of time left to enjoy Christmas decorations before it is time to take them down!

I did spend some time checking out online clearances of Christmas items today, might go out to some stores tomorrow and check out what I can pick up for next Christmas at a bargain, was thinking of heading out today but wanted to avoid the crowds of people returning gifts, etc.

:tree:

Hey everyone!!! What a lovely Christmas Eve so far. My grandpa just left and he really enjoyed himself. In all of the years since my grandma passed away, I never saw him so happy.

I am absolutely STUFFED and I don't think I'll be hungry again until supper time tomorrow! I just filled up the cookie platter so Santa will be getting some yummy treats tonight :)

So glad to hear that your Christmas Eve was nice! Glad to hear your grandfather enjoyed it as well!

Wayne and I ran around most the day and Christmas music was playing at all the stores and even on the radio. It was so nice to hear!!! I still feel "Christmasy"!

I am still putting up snowflakes! I put them on the ceiling every year, usually done by now. Leave them up until spring. Adds a nice sparkle to the place and keeps it from looking to bare whe the tree comes down in January.
