Good Morning my MMC Friends!!!

Well, ***looking a little shame faces*** I have not logged on since Friday!!! But, oh how I enjoyed the last few days, I keep replaying them over and over...

While I missed so much here, I did think of you all... I am so glad we passed 30K posts now what will be the number for next year!!!

I hope you all enjoyed your Christmas, I am still basking in the glow of the wonderful time I had.

I was glancing through the posts and noticed that some of you have been writing that you have not experienced the Christmas Blues, well same here, no blues... I think MMC is my reason, I know that even though my one neighbor has all their Christmas Displays down already and soon my other neighbors will follow suit as will I, MMC will be fully enhanced with the Christmas Spirit and I can come here as often as I need to bask in the wonderful glow!!!

I thought I would share my Christmas Celebrating that has been going on since last Thursday!

Thursday- I subbed in a kindergarten class and we went to all the other grades in the school and Christmas caroled for them :) After school was done, I went to see my friend's children and give them their gifts :)

Friday- I went to my mom's pre school class where i sometimes sub and we had a holiday ice cream party...but then had to un decorate for the new year

Saturday- I worked the morning shift, then went to church with my family. After we go to grandma's for snacks and A Christmas Story (the first showing)

Sunday- everyone came to my house at 2 and stayed til like 11 for dinner dessert gifts and wii bowling tourney.

Today is Christmas with my boyfriend's family:razz:

For the Blues I recommend a steady dose of Reds & Greens available at the Merry Network all year. Don’t let the un-Yuleing from the rest of the world pack up your Christmas enthusiasm and spirit when their limited celebration goes back into the attic!

On the ol’ Yule-O-Meter of Glad Tidings & Joy seldom do I fall below a level seven Jolly Units. I do admit an elevation and spike during the time the rest of the world catches up to our year-round Christmas Spirit. That elevation just doesn’t fall much when the plug is pulled on the lights elsewhere.

Christmas was coolarity at our house. Of the four grandchildren, two experienced their first Christmas! I am thankful that everyone from the immediate family was well and accounted for this year. Though there was sadness in the second family tier, we shall prevail!

Hear, hear!!!

I am becoming quite distressed hearing about so many members here suffering from the blues plaque.
This insidious virus seems to be spreading.

Apparently it is spread through used wrapping paper. Please make sure you get all of it out of your house, you do not want this virus!

Once you get it out of the house make sure to spray areas with febreze cranberry scent to remove all contamination. (and do not visit anyone who still has used wrapping paper at their home to keep it from re contaminating you)

If you find you did get it, soak in a tub of eggnog, while sipping candy cane hot chocolate and listening to Christmas music.
If symptoms persist, repeat treatment until all traces of this virus are gone.

Good morning, Christmas family. It is chilly here in northern California. I have plans to organize my scrapbooking materials today. Organization is always the theme of the beginning of any new year for me. I guess I am influenced by a lot of the ladies' magazines. I, too, want to add my thanks to all those on this site, from Jeff to all participants. All of y'all (I know that's redundant, but, hey, I'm a Southerner [Tarheel]) are the most special people on Earth. I want to add that we also have the funniest people on Earth right here. I can come here for grins any time of the day. I have finally invested in those wipe cloths for the computer to wipe off all the coffee spews when I read many of the special posts during Christmas in July, the Love Fest, and all the others. Thanks for the memories!!!

I agree. I used to get really down after Christmas, but that was before I found this place and all of my wonderful friends here. I get odd looks from family and friends when I talk about Christmas in July, or Rudy Day on the 25th of every month, but so what? You guys know what I mean!

OMG I completely missed this from CS!!! Love it!!!

I was a little blue yesterday (just a light blue, not deep blue) but my husband and I went out to eat, and then I felt better. Must have been the bread pudding I had for dessert.

We went to Columbia Mall to spend our Christmas money afterwards, and neither of us found anything we wanted. Imagine being so blessed that there's nothing else you want! This, indeed, is Christmas!

Hey everyone...just got in from the morning game and taking a little break before I begin doing some work. Got about 5 hours or so before I head back, so hopefully I can cram in some serious work....we will see.

The best thing about the break is I get to do work at home. That's nice. I would love a job working at home, but who wouldn't? I don't think I can get 500 kids in my house though, so I will stick to going to work.

See everyone late tonight....

I just got back from Wal-Mart and it was DEAD!!! I bought three Christmas sweatshirts, some Christmas M&Ms, a candy cane cup which I will use in the summer, some stuff for this weekend's eats, and a Christmas scented-wax warmer. The warmer has a cardinal on it, the state bird of NC. I could not believe the lack of activity. I guess everyone from here went to Chico!!!

Won't be long!

Both children (son and daughter) and all four grands plus others will be here soon enough! That's what Christmas is all about!

Hope you enjoyed their visit!

Truly amazing!

Thank you canninemom3! I love the gift you sent, he is so cute. I promise to always protect him!

Aww, how sweet!

I got a St. Francis University sweatshirt, (from my niece -it's where she goes to school) I got a leather recipe binder with recipe cards to hold my own recipes, and 2 nice rubber spatulas & tongs, I got a k-cup drawer that sits under my Keurig, I got Ohio State slippers, & a cute, wonderful smelling candle! In the exchange I got a big bag of butterscotch toffee coffee & a homemade cheesecake (my sisters friend has a baking business) & I can order a pie of my choice to be delivered whenever I want it! :) My hubby & I haven't exchanged yet. We go to my in-laws tomorrow & since we buy our own gifts for there, I will be getting a Columbia vest with a shirt underneath & Wii Outdoor Challenge. It has been a good Christmas!

If you mean the St. Francis in Pa, it is about 15 to 20 minfrom my house!

Good evening, friends~

Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!!

Ours was nice, but went by so fast :(

And I do have lots of those Christmas blues like most of you..
Thank God we have each other, right?!

We have been having fun with my parents, staying busy. So nice to have them here.

Life has also thrown us a few curve balls, so just trying to figure stuff out. Trying not to stress, just want to enjoy the next week, then back to reality.

I have not been able to keep up with the countdown for the past few days. Please forgive me. Sending thoughts & prayers to you all~

Enjoy the last week of Christmas movies! So sad not hearing the Christmas music on the radio any longer. I am off to bed, going to watch Polar Express. Sweet dreams, all~

:smile:Stacey

I hope things get better for you, my thoughts are with you.

Time Sensitive !!

Get over to http://www.thayrone.com/bcms/ and download the December 25th show now before it slips from the archives! It’s the “Bone Conduction Music Show Christmas Extravaganza” baby! Four hours worth!

While you are at it, click the dropdown box and grab the December 18th show too. It's a repeat of the 2009 Christmas Extravaganza! Now you will have eight hours worth!

I ain’t kiddin’! And if you make contact with host Thayrone X, tell him I sent you!

And while I am at it, don’t forget that Christmas music is still available at WCSF, 88.7 from St. Frances University in Jolliet, Illinois until January 2, 2012!

All Christmas with an online listen link - https://www.stfrancis.edu/spirit/

And of course, boys and girls, MCR & MCR-2 never stop!

Now, no whining because of lack of Christmas music just because that lame commercial radio station you listen to pulled the Yule plug on the same 100 Christmas tunes played over and over and over and…

Big, wet flakes of snow are coming down - rather pretty out right now :rudolph:
