Good Morning Everyone!!!!!! It's going to be another warm one here in central Indy but it looks like a cool down is coming to ring in the new year. We have been running about 10 degrees above normal but Monday and Tuesday we are going to be about 10 degrees below normal. Today I have to finish some cleaning and then it will be time to start making some dishes for my New Years Eve Party tomorrow night. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

I just had Steak n shake for dinner last night!!! I loved Jack in the box too and I just found out that they are going to be opening 5 of them around Indianapolis and who can resist a blizzard from Dairy Queen.

OK I am now officially JELEOUS!!!!! Fries & shakes, and ice cream to boot!!! Oh woes me and they say NYC has the best restaurants around!!!! HA, HA, HA!!! We had this old place for years called A&W Root Beer Stands, I loved the hot dogs there but they closed the last one here years ago, I still miss them!!!

They have pretty good food there too

Yeah DQ isn't bad for a quick bite!!!

I love Rally's seasoned french fries!!!! I use to have one about a mile up the road but they closed it and opened a new one about 5 miles away.

This is a new name for me, is it like a Bob's Big Boy or like a 5 Guys?

All this talk about food is making me hungry.

Even tho it is 8:42 AM I am now craving french fries!!!!

I used to be like that until 2 years or so ago. Have you ever tried putting sugar on it? My mom swears by it and says it makes it not sour anymore!

I have an Iphone, plus DH got me a Nook tablet for Christmas, so I am able to update from more than just the house now. I've been logging on to MMC lots of places now. I take you guys with me everywhere I go. I love it!

Awesome!!! How is that Nook?!?! I've been thinking about it... I have the Thrive tablet and even tho it isn't an IPad I love it, they have an app for Kindle (sp) and I have thinking about it...

Seawaters- Thanks for the million dollars!!!!! I just wish that you had mentioned that they were Zimbabwean dollars. When I went to exchange them I was kind of shocked to learn that they weren't even worth a penny in US currency.

last night, my cousin and i went out to do some post Christmas shopping. We went to the mall- i bought nothing. Target and Barnes and Noble- same story. On the way home we decided to stop at Walmart- All i bought was my welch's 6 packs of juice( Im 23 and still love the welch's juices), a piece of cheesecake from their bakery and reese's cups.

Today I am relaxing at home until my friend gets done work at 5, then her and I are going to hang out and catch up. What is everyone doing on the eve before new years eve?

We have an American Girl Doll store here. We went to the mall the other day with my grandchildren and wanted to take my 2 year old granddaughter there just to look around and see what she thinks but we ran out of time and never went in there. She is a little young to take care of a doll like that right now. I have looked online and just not sure I can afford that for her right now but maybe someday! They are pretty dolls! =)

Great to see you too :thumbsup: I never got to have an american girl doll. With a brother and 4 male cousins my mom used to baby sit- the doll may have never survived my house. I'm hoping that when I get married, I will be able to convince my husband to get a doll from there if we have a daughter

Hello, everyone! The year is getting short!

Haven't heard anything about the office closing early today, but I have hopes. Cross your fingers. We're going out to eat with some friends tonight and will give them their Christmas gifts. (We usually get together with them after Christmas.) Then a three-day weekend---yay!

Went to the supermarket last night for Chex Mix fixin's (homemade Chex Mix is a must for our New Year's Eve movie marathon), and there were big displays of various brands of Christmas tea on sale. I couldn't find Christmas tea earlier in the season---the shipments must have come late.

I got a nice wrist watch for Christmas, but had to take it to Macy's last night because I discovered that the security device was still attached. Had to go to two departments to get it detached, because the watch department doesn't have the tool that opens the device ... huh? Had to take it over to handbags. Thank goodness I had a gift receipt. Can you imagine? "Hi, this is a gift, but I need the security tag removed ..." "Nice try, lady."

Hi every one! how are you guys! i am extremely busy and stressed, need to get so much done before the end of january and before christmas it seemed so far away, but now it's approaching so fast!
this is quite a good time to be working, listening to the top2000 of all time (which is always broadcasted on the radio between christmas and new year here, it's a nice tradition!! and a very good way to get ready for new years from christmas!

Check Amazon - I was looking at the chai tea on their site and although you have to buy 6 boxes to get the deal, it is less than half what it costs in my area - even on sale.

My granddaughter has 2 brothers and I was thinking the same! They love to do "kung fu" moves with dolls and stuffed animals and I would see the same with the doll. I have a stuffed animal of mine that I had since I was a little girl. I do allow my 2 year old granddaughter to play with it because she is so gentle and caring with it. When my grandsons come over I put it away. That stuffed animal would turn into an "action hero" and end up torn! :lol:
