We just got word that my family's Christmas party that was scheduled on Sunday has been canceled, my aunt just called and said that my grandmother fell and hurt her arm, she is at the ER right now, she is in her late 80's I am very worried about her.

I'll say a prayer for her Xmas.

EXACTLY!!! That's the way I feel, I really don't watch Hallmark, the movies are a little to sugary sweet for my liking, but I feel comfort that they are still on. I hate how the rest of the world rushes to put Christmas to bed. That's why I have that idea of a year round Holiday movie cable channel. cheesy

Good afternoon, Christmas family !!

I am off for three days and really glad even though I don't get paid for being off on New Year's Day. I don't have any big plans, no New Year's Eve parties or anything like that. I will just be staying home with my furkids, my tree and watching the New Year come in with the usual dread that I have. I guess it's the Eeyore in me

I plan on watching some of the Christmas movies on Hallmark since this is the last weekend they will be on for a while.

I got a summons for Jury Duty this week. I have never been on a jury and will find out if I am required to serve the evening before.

Hi guys, just popping in to say HELLO!!

Hey! Glad to see you posting! Stop in more often when you can!

Well it took me a couple of hours but I finally read all of the posts from Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. So I think I am caught up now.

Congrats! I am sure it feels good to be caught up!

I need a better phone.:-(

I did get a cheap android tablet that I wanted for christmas. It's a whole lot easier to take with me than the laptop was but I still need a wifi signal to connect.

If you do get a better phone, it is so worth it. DH said he didn't need a smart phone and once we got them, he said he didn't know how he lived without it. It does EVERYTHING. They're wonderful.

Home at last I'm glad to home. Really not a nice ride home. Roads snow covered and slippery. Several cars in the ditch, several accidents, real happy we
are home safe.

Just stopping in for a minute to say goodnight, I just watched the Penguins lose to the Flyers, really tough loss and watching Jagr get a goal and Talbot get an empty net goal made it worse

It just makes me sick, I know that for sure! Dang those Flyers!

My back has been doing pretty well, thanks CM3. Ella is doing well, too! Hope all of your furbabies are well.

Thanks CM3!!! Her steroid injections went well. She didn't have any kind of reaction and it seems to have helped the pain a little.

Awesome!!! How is that Nook?!?! I've been thinking about it... I have the Thrive tablet and even tho it isn't an IPad I love it, they have an app for Kindle (sp) and I have thinking about it...

I love my Nook Tablet! I had the original Nook, but wanted a color one and then they came out with the Tablet. It's so nice because it's just like the iPad, but just a little smaller. It's half the price too. It works so nicely for MMC! I LOVE it!

Haven't heard anything about the office closing early today, but I have hopes. Cross your fingers. We're going out to eat with some friends tonight and will give them their Christmas gifts. (We usually get together with them after Christmas.) Then a three-day weekend---yay!

Have you ever heard of My Twinn? I bought one for my granddaughter, added a wheel chair since Lily has to be in a wheelchair most of the day, and bought the same outfit for both Lily and the doll. Very special.

That doll sounds so sweet. How lovely!

Quiet day here as well...recuperating from some sort of bug that comes with sore throat, aches and pains-ick.

Lost a good friend this morning.....he was like a father figure to me. It's good, everyone has been preparing themselves for this. Hate to sound ugly, almost a relief because of the fight that he was enduring.

Here's to hoping that his quality life of being a sound person, great husband, and awesome father will allow him to encounter an eternity of peace.

May he rest in peace. Here's to the family finding peace in their loss. Praying for them, all his family, and for you, Coach. God Bless him.

We got back from taking the boys to the Dr's office they both have ear infections. LC woke up in the middle of the night screaming because of it. I am finally starting to feel better, a lot less pain today, but I am sure tonight it will come back.

I got a nice wrist watch for Christmas, but had to take it to Macy's last night because I discovered that the security device was still attached. Had to go to two departments to get it detached, because the watch department doesn't have the tool that opens the device ... huh? Had to take it over to handbags. Thank goodness I had a gift receipt. Can you imagine? "Hi, this is a gift, but I need the security tag removed ..." "Nice try, lady."

We had to do that once, what surprised me was that it set no alarms off leaving the store, but did coming back in to get the thing off!

Hi every one! how are you guys! i am extremely busy and stressed, need to get so much done before the end of january and before christmas it seemed so far away, but now it's approaching so fast!

this is quite a good time to be working, listening to the top2000 of all time (which is always broadcasted on the radio between christmas and new year here, it's a nice tradition!! and a very good way to get ready for new years from christmas!

I know what you mean about the busy! I just finished mixing up the filling for the croquettes. Mom called this morning and wants me to drive her to my brothers place tomorrow, 1 1/2 hours from here. Bill is home for a few days, he drives truck and is not home often. So hopefully I will get all the work done before we leave so that when I get home again we will be all set to enjoy the evening. Need to do some cleaning up around here.
Guess we just have to keep working with a smile on our face no matter how tired we are!

Good morning, Christmas family. It is foggy and chilly here in northern California. I have to be out and about later on, so thank goodness I live in a small town and don't have to drive far!!!

It was snowing last night and right now it is raining and foggy. All the snow is quickly disappearing.
Hopefully it clears up a bit before we have to go to St Thomas tomorrow.

so sorry to hear of your loss. You are right about the relief, we felt the same about dad when he went home. He suffered so much at the end.

yes, you will...from what I figure, you are about 5 hours ahead of us here in Ontario. My sister is in Bangladesh with a group of her nursing students and they are already into Saturday afternoon (about 11 hours ahead of us)
It is so nice to get to hear from everyone around the world.!
