Good evening friends! I bought a small 2' artificial Christmas tree to hang Halloween stuff on then after Halloween I'll hang Thanksgiving stuff on it and then of course it will be time to make it a Christmas tree! I've never done such a thing before, I hope I'm not disrespecting the Christmas tree. cheesy

That is a great idea! cheesy

Wow, here's the rain 'dawg was talking about!

I have managed to do a quick read through of all the posts since I was last here.

It has been a busy day, my son had to have a throat scope this morning to check on what was going on with his hiatus hernia. We almost missed it because for the first time in ages I actually slept in! But we made it. Everything went well and it looked good the doc said. Just have to wait for the biopsy to come back.

Now I am home from my TOPS meeting and enjoying a quiet evening at home.

I hope everything is fine with him!!

That remind me that I got lots of candles from
Yankee Candles in the mail yesterday! =)
Awesome! What scents did you buy? =*)
Winter wonderland, Sparkling Snow, Home Sweet Home
Black Cherry and Kitchen Spice cheesy

You asked me about witch movie I should see one day here
(can't find the post) and it was Trading Christmas
But I haven't finished it yet.. =]

good a.m. all you gorgeous MyMC peeps!!!!!

it's raining pretty hard out right now. no thunder or lightening but lots of rain. super humid here, says 73 degrees but w/ this humidity it feels much warmer. can't wait for more fall like weather to come.

star, i sure hope the docs find out what's going on w/ your son. i will keep him in my prayers.

solice, i hear ya' girly! hobb-nobbing w/ the big wigs!!!!! & in the grocery store no less!

have a dr. appt this morning but i think i'm gonna cancel as i was just there last week.

my son, Seth, is considering physical therapy once he completes his associates of science in December but he 1st has to get his GPA up. he was kind'a upset last night thinking about all of it. bless him. i did assure him everything will work out.

y'all have a wonderful day!!! love, hugs, & smiles all around!

I'll keep Seth in my thoughts & prayers, my friend =)

Good rainy morning MMC! Looks like the rain is done here, but it came through overnight! We only have a high of 64 predicted for today! I'm heading out in about an hour with 2 neighbor ladies for a walk! Which means, I did end up taking the day off! The temptation was too great! I feel I am benefiting from this day off more than my brother Mike (I took off to celebrate his 1st heavenly birthday) but I could use a day off at home & why not today??? Speaking of...time to get the Christmas candles (or fall candles) burning & turn on some Christmas music! (Done!)

Seems like there was something else I wanted to ask or tell, but can't think of it now, so I'm going to start cleaning out a closet. Oh boy....

HAPPY 1ST HEAVENLY BIRTHDAY BIG BROTHER MIKE!!! WE MISS YOU LIKE CRAZY!!

Happy Birthday to Mike!! Thinking of you, today. xo

(Let me know what you think of Family Stone once you watch it!)

Good Afternoon (soon evening) ♥

Good Afternoon, Solice!! :-D

Not so good today.. Thanks for asking =]
But how are YOU feeling?? Im thinking about you!

Sorry to hear that =( Sending hugs & get well wishes!

Winter wonderland, Sparkling Snow, Home Sweet Home
Black Cherry and Kitchen Spice

YUM!! I bet your home smells wonderful!

I love Trading Christmas! The premise reminds me of The Holiday. Both great movies! Enjoy the rest of it =] xo

Soon I will be leaving in the morning when it's dark, and coming home from work in the dark. I like the dark and cold though, so it's not that big a deal for me. I am an odd duck!
I'm with you. Fall and winter are my favorite times of the year. I love cold weather. The six years we lived in Dallas really made me dislike summer.

I share a similar sentiment. I really enjoy Fall and Winter. Even in Canada, I have no problem with the weather. I love the lead up to Winter Solstice, but I also enjoy the new life afterwards as daylight, once again, increases.

I am hearing from several here that you are hearing rain falling in your area, it is here too.

I have to be at work at 9am, not used to morning shifts, usually do the closings. Oh well, it will be much busier because the order comes in today but that should also make the day go by fast.

Hope you all have a great day!!

Raining here today also, have a great day at work.

Wow, here's the rain 'dawg was talking about!

It seems as if the rain is falling everywhere today... It's been non-stop here since I arrived at work. At least the morning walk was nice!

Xmas, your not alone, as much as I like to garden in the spring and summer, there is something so relaxing and nice about the darker and cooler nights.

I don't know exactly what it is, maybe it's the welcome change from the summer heat, humidity and mosquitoes to the Fall that makes me just want to jump for joy this time of year. I feel like I have more energy, more things to look forward to like (Halloween, veterans day, Thanksgiving Day and of course Christmas) and in November, we have three birthdays that month to celebrate as well.

I kind of like it at times, when I drive back and forth to work in the dark (except, I'm skittish about the deer this time of year, the rut is coming in and the deer act like their crazy, running all over the place)!

Hey! Hey! Hey!
Christmas is on the way!

Was just out at Crabtree to get some photos of the "A Christmas To Remember" store (still not yet open) while the crowds were small and the mall cops less attentive.

Thought I would walk through Sears, Macy's and Belks in the off chance they might have something up this early.
Would you believe!
Both Belks and Sears had their Christmas sections fully stocked up and ready for action!
And Macy's was in the process of setting up.

(Got some more photos for the Blossoms thread!)

I don't know any tips, but I hope it's better quick!!!!

Why does a day off work go SO much faster than a day at work???

why do the easy mechnical jobs always turn out to be the hardest? I mean putting a neutral safety switch on my nieghbors van should have taken 30 minutes. It's 3 bolts and one screw. I've been working on it for 3 hours now though and still can't get the old one to come off. If only there was room for my sledge hammer.

Try putting heat to it for 15 minutes and then ice for 5. That's what they have my brother in law do when his back is acting up.
