You better get a real electrician. Sounds like the wiring may be grounding to the plumbing pipes somewhere.

I watched X-Factor but the problem is that it ran through the holidays and there was a lot on TV that I wanted to watch that was on at the same. It made it difficult for me to get into as much as I do American Idol.

They also kept changing the times and days it was on during the baseball playoffs. That's when I lost interest in it.

We actually had a snowstorm! It only lasted about 3 hours, but hey, it was a snowstorm!!!

We only got about a half inch today. It looks like we will some some sleet tomorrow.:-?

Hello all! I haven't been on here much lately. I was sick for a while but am feeling better other than just feeling plain exhausted. The weather has been all over the place and I think that makes me feel bad. I hope everyone is having a great week! Take Care!

Brandi is getting exited about going back to work,they started a new semester on the 9th which means she got new students until the last day of school in May.It is hard to believe the end of the school year will be here before too long. She has decided to teach summer school this year too. She taught it the summer after her 1st year and that is where teachers really make better money. But then again she said the students are BAD at summer school she loves her kids during the rugular year where she teaches gifted kids Shakesperian Lit! Well I better finish up here at work so I can get out of here on time today...have a great afternoon everyone!

Good afternoon,

I went and visited my grandparents today, they are doing well. My foot is hurting a bit today, I truly feel like I am going stir crazy being stuck here most days. Snow coming tonight, not much, but Saturday they are saying 6 inches with that storm.

I am totally psyched right now! I just pre-ordered a CD that I have waited to be released for almost a decade. The Move: "Live at the Fillmore 1969" It is the only fully recorded concert in the bands short history in existence. It should be here in the middle of February. Happy late birthday gift to me! I cannot wait until it gets here.

Glad to hear she loves to teach. Such a difference when a teacher loves what they do.

As far as I know here by law dads and moms can get 3 months off. she gets paid however only for 6 weeks. She has been off since thanksgiving (nov 24th) so her time is about up anyways. It just stinks that even teachers are getting laid off now. But yeah she loved her job which is good,I can remember many teachers I had growing up I could tell they hated being a teacher and hated kids even. That is why it is so great to see teachers and others like nurses and such that actually love what they do!!cheesycheesy

Sneaking a peek ... I'm about burnt out on the work I'm doing. I still don't have a full-blown cold, but I do feel crummy ... sore-ish throat, tired, kinda achy and headachy. I hope there's time to relax tonight.

I went to post last night a BIG multi post and my wireless went down, we tried everything BUMMER!!! It is back up and running, but by the time we got it done I was too tried and went to bed... I will need to review the posts!!!

Try this: When I have a lot of posts to catch up with, I start doing one multi-post reply per page of posts. Then you can just use the list under your "back" button to get back to the last page of posts you read. Repeat until you're caught up. Then you've only lost your reply for the last page of posts if the connection drops. Works pretty good for me.

I find that funny that we have digital cable but guess what Wayne and I watch every night before bed? M*A*S*H! We own the entire 11 seasons on dvd and we choose to watch that instead of whats on tv.

When we have free time in the evening, we always watch DVDs instead of "what's on." We have the "M*A*S*H" box too, but lately we've been watching "Barney Miller," "Get Smart," and " 'Allo, 'Allo."

Snow coming tonight, not much, but Saturday they are saying 6 inches with that storm.

we are having bands of snow coming off the lake, so it works like this...

Good evening MMC friends. Hope you're all having a great evening. Nothing new here. Sorry I haven't been replying to all of the posts in the last few days, but I have been spending a lot of time with DH and the kids. I feel that really is the most important thing anyway!

It is currently snowing here right now. We're supposed to get 1 to 3 inches of snow tonight. It looks so pretty.

Well, I am going to try to read some of the countdown. I work tonight, then I am off until Sunday night!

Hey everyone! Looks like I'm going to be stuck in tomorrow. The meteorologists were only calling for an inch of snow from this evening to tomorrow morning, and we already have three. I looked out the window and it is a complete white out. They are calling for more snow tomorrow, tomorrow night, and some Saturday. I really can't afford to be missing class but I'm going to have to if the roads are bad!

(Actually, it is technically a day later than normal owing to it being a leap year.)

Sorry I didn't say this yesterday...but hope everyone had a great milestone day. Happy Milestone Day #1. We're getting that much closer to Christmas! :smile:
