Hey everyone! Looks like I'm going to be stuck in tomorrow. The meteorologists were only calling for an inch of snow from this evening to tomorrow morning, and we already have three. I looked out the window and it is a complete white out. They are calling for more snow tomorrow, tomorrow night, and some Saturday. I really can't afford to be missing class but I'm going to have to if the roads are bad!

Stay safe!!!!!!

Sorry I didn't say this yesterday...but hope everyone had a great milestone day. Happy Milestone Day #1. We're getting that much closer to Christmas!

Happy Belated Milestone Day to you too!!!!!!!

Has everyone heard about that cruise ship that turned over in Italy? I thought I had heard it all after the captain abanded ship and was arrested on manslaughter charges. That makes me so angry. Now I have read online that also grown men were pushing pregnant women and little kids out of the way so they could get off! I believe there is a special place in the afterlife for folks like that! i guess I will sound like my parents and say it's just a sign of the times we live in now. It's really hard to believe 100 years after titanic sank that a cruise ship can just take on water and sink like that. I sure hope that they find everyone that is missing. Last I heard it was 11 bodies found so far and a few dozen still missing. That story has haunted me this week and the photo's actually look photo shopped. I know they are real but it's looks so wierd, and they were actually so close to land. That is my rant of the day.. Have a great day everyone!

This story is truly sad. You don't know what can happen anymore. People are crazy and downright sad. People only think about themselves. I hope all the bodies are found too, for closure for the families. God Bless them.

It's Snowing! cheesy

I'll also be monitoring the weather north of seattle for sister. They got about a foot of snow yesterday and they could get another foot today. That will probably close down their town for at least a week

How is the weather going for your sister? Hope everyone there is staying safe!

So pretty! BTW I was sweeping off the back patio last week and still have some christmasstars on the ground from where I opened your Card in december!lol made me think about you....those things stick to the floor!
Glad I can continue to brighten your days! (they are programed to hang around until next Christmas)

Good evening MMC friends. Hope you're all having a great evening. Nothing new here. Sorry I haven't been replying to all of the posts in the last few days, but I have been spending a lot of time with DH and the kids. I feel that really is the most important thing anyway!

It is currently snowing here right now. We're supposed to get 1 to 3 inches of snow tonight. It looks so pretty.

Well, I am going to try to read some of the countdown. I work tonight, then I am off until Sunday night!

snow seems to be the thing to have today. We are still getting it on and off.

They ended up with a little over 16 inches of snow. So they didn't get as much as expected but it still has everything shut down. My sister is worried about taking my niece down to the children's hospital tomorrow for her appointment because they got a lot of ice down in Seattle today. She was going to cancel the appointment but they couldn't get her back in until April. So my BIL is going to take off of work and take them in his blazer since it's 4 wheel drive.

Last night Jordan slept through the whole night from 11 pm toe 5 when I got up. He goes back to the Dr for his 2week visit friday. I weighed 6 pounds 6 oz when he was born, and now I think he may be up to 7 pounds.

Glad to hear Jordan is gaining well and sleeping through the night already for you. That is awesome!

Wednesday ... a slow commute to the office, as usual in mid-week. I may be coming down with Mr.'s cold, but I'm trying to convince myself that I'm not. He's home sick again today.

Hope you and Mr. feel better. Thinking about both of you!

Work just called and put me on call for tonight. I guess we will see how long it stays like that for. It will be nice it I never get called in though. I will end up having a 3 day weekend and then I can sleep all night too.

It will also be nice because then I won't have to drive in this snow!!!

Another day I will be taking it easy, my foot is feeling a little bit better, I can put a little weight on it barefoot which is progress, but I have my boot on now though.

Glad it is starting to feel better. Keep resting when you can!

Morning, everyone!

Have to run and get ready but I wanted to thank you all for the prayers for my mom. She got a call this morning and was told that she has an infection so it most likely is not bladder cancer. If the infection doesn't go away after taking the antibiotics for a few days, then they will run more tests to see. But if it goes away, then all is good!

Thank you so much, such a relief :)

That is great news, Jennifer. I will continue to pray for you and your mom. Keep us updated whenever you get the final word.

My lungs are being a little on the "rattly" (spelling ??) side ......It seems all this up and down with the temperatures is affecting my asthma. So far my inhaler is handling it.

I hope you feel better soon!

My wife watches American Idol some but I don't care for it. We go to church on Wed nights so she missed most of the show. Except for sports and the new 'Last Man Standing' sitcom, we watch almost no network TV. We are very much a baseball family and watch the MLB network all year long. We also watch the history and military channels some plus the Hallmark channel during the Christmas season. During the MLB off season, a lot of our family TV time is watching old movies and old TV series. We are currently watching season 5 of Gunsmoke, (my Christmas gift).

OK once when I was in the hospital, like six or seven years ago Gunsmoke was like the only thing on TV, I became a fan, it was and still is a feel good show to me. I also remember my Nana liked this show called Rockford Files, gosh I think he was a cop or a PI she just loved that show, and I guess I have fond memories of it. I love history and discovery channel. I really get into Deadliest catch, Swamp Loggers, Swamp People, and Coal. I use to like Black Gold but since it moved to Try TV I feel it is all fake now, the people are really different.

I was surprised at X factor as well. I thought it was going to do much better in terms of ratings.,I have heard some ppl say they like it better than Idol, others say not as much, but I did not watch at all. I liked Simon, sometimes he is harsh but some of those people do need to hear someone tell it like it is.lol Now sometimes he does go overboard but he usually gets it right. I guess I will start dvr'ing Idol, because that is all that comes on until Big Brother starts in July. I try to watch survivor too but by the time September rolls around I am too worn out because sept is when Big brother ends. With Idol I always wonder if this will be the final season or not. Over the years it has had some great moments.I never will forget that Sanjaya dude that went almost to the end! ahh good times. you could tell that upset simon alot.lol

I remember him - how about his hair!!!! I LOVE the show Deadliest Catch I have been watching from the 1st season so I am really hooked on that, and this other show called Swamp People, don't ask me why but I am in awe of these families. I also DVR a show called Full Throtel Solomon it is weird but I kind of get into it.

I like Simon too and I miss him on Idol but I agree that he went overboard at times. I guess you could say I have a love/hate thing with him. Ha ha! He really wasn't as harsh on X-Factor and seemed to have a better balance with his critique and wasn't quite as rude.

I watched X-Factor but the problem is that it ran through the holidays and there was a lot on TV that I wanted to watch that was on at the same. It made it difficult for me to get into as much as I do American Idol.

After Idol is over in May I am done with competition shows for awhile. I just get worn out after all that!

I guess maybe that could be why I didn't get into it-I didn't think of that. Yeah I feel the same way too I get a little worn out by them come the Summer, we hardly watch any "live" TV we seem to DVR and watch them whe n it is more conveinent for us. Maybe if they move the time period for the x Factor I could try it out, I also liked Paula.

Mom is actually doing GREAT since the surgery on her knee, saying that her pain is almost completely gone. I am so thankful for that!

That is such great news. I am so glad to hear that!
