No set time. Folks just start drifting in during the latter part of the evening.
However, we like to have things in place by no later than 11:00 PM EST. If you come after that, you're likely to miss most of the action!
 
Thank you, Made, I almost forgot about the Season starting at midnight! That would have been too bad!

I'm home today with sciatica. I was home yesterday with sciatica. Sciatica is getting to be like that house guest that doesn't know when to leave. It pops up unexpectedly, and it's a pain in the seat. Ah well, I worked on my Christmas Cards yesterday to take my mind off of it, and got them all done. Now I'm working on a Sunday School Christmas Pageant for a small number of kids. The commercially available ones always assume you have this huge Sunday School, and we just don't. It's fun to see what I can come up with each year. After I'm done with the pageant, I guess I'll drag a kitchen chair into the living room, and 'fluff up the tree'. I'm not sure what Hubby did to it last year when he put it away, but it looks like it's going to need a lot of fluffing. It's looking kind of congealed right now.

Back to work!

Today I spent making Potato Crescent rolls to put into the freezer for Thanksgiving. I freeze them before the last raising and on Thanksgiving and Christmas morning I take them out of the freezer and put on cookie sheets. When they are thawed I brush real butter on them and let them raise then bake them. They are definately a favorite of all that has tried them.
I made 110 of them so that should take us through Thanksgiving then I will make another round for Christmas and New Years.
I have also gotten all my recipes out that I will use for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas truck light show, and New Years and made my menus and then the food lists of all the things I will need.
Now I need to make my schedules of what day and time to make which item as several recipes can be made out a couple days a head which is always nice.

Thanks Shellie... I spent Sat cleaning the house from top to bottom - the oven, the curtains, moved the chouch you name it... Felt good after I was done, w/o hot water you know it just didn't "feel" clean in the house!!!

How are you doing, is everything OK - I remember a few weeks ago a friend of yours was in a bad way? I could be wrong, but thinking of you.

Well, my son has gone and done it - he's signed a contract to work at Disneyland Paris over Christmas. He starts on Dec. 22nd and finishes Jan. 6th. I realise that it's a very short contract but IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm very proud of the man he's turned into and commend him for finding his own way in life but I'm selfish enough to scream IT'S CHRISTMAS and go find your own way in life on Valentine's Day or Labour Day Weekend. From another perspective, I have 16 (count 'em) 16 days left to work before finishing until January. My, that number looks good!!!!!!

LOL!!! Track when I was in College I worked at Disney in Florida every summer I was Dale the Chipmunk!!! Loved working there!!!

I was wondering the same thing!! It seems like just yesterday that we were watching Lisa talk about locking her niece's and nephew's in the basement during Christmas in July.
