Wayne and I took our oldest grandson (8 years old) out yesterday all over town doing Christmasy Things! He spent the night Friday then Saturday we went to 2 malls to take in some free entertainment, had a visit with Santa, went out to lunch, and a did a few other things. We ended the night driving around looking at Christmas lights. I am wiped out today! We started the day around 9 am and didn't get home until almost 9 pm.

Next week we plan to take my younger grandson (6 years old) out for the day then while Wayne is on vacation we will take my 3 year old granddaughter out for the day.

Wayne and I do this with the kids each year. We started a tradition for the kids to have some one on one time with us every December running around having Christmas fun. It's great because each child has a different interest in what they like doing so we focus on one child and let them pick and plan their special day. They really enjoy it very much!

Looks delicious !!! I will take one dozen of each please !!!! xo

They are on the way!!

Made, those cookies look delicious!!

They don't taste half bad.

That looks like a ton of cookies, made!

Made.....

That's the most cookies I have ever seen....I'm so glad I wasn't there....I would have been so sick....

That's just what we made before lunch. So imaginie that times 2 and a half you will have what we ended up with.

OMG lol what a load of cookies what do you do with them all like do you and your family eat them or do you give some away and if you are, do you have my address ?

Most of them will go to coworkers, neighbors, and friends but we will eat a good portion of them too.

No time for exhaustion you still have to make 102 more dozen to send to Texas! :D Those cookies look delish!

I'll make them as long as your coming over to do the dishes afterwards!!!

What day are you taking me out?? Let me guess, after I make those cookies?

Good Sunday morning everyone! it's a cloudy balmy temp of 65F outside, they say it may reach 80F today and tomorrow...unreal..but what can you do.lol IT's hard to believe it's just alittle over 2 weeks for the big day,and I am going to try to be here as much as possible..

It's been such a busy year, last night at one point both babies were crying at the same time...I think at one point I was even sheddin a tear or two....Brandi has decided to take 2 more weeks off work and not go back until after MLK holiday in January so she will officially go back on the 22nd instead of the 7th...I don't know how she does it...I hope everyone is doing good and getting the kind of Christmas weather you want.lol I think me and Brandi are going to have to postpone our ski trip until mid January because even the fake snow in the Wv is melting...We have decided to go to Canaan Valley resort in the Allengany MTS...if anyone has been there let me know how you liked it...they claim to have over 120 inches of fresh snow a year...anyway I am super excited about that...and everything is going great I'm just tired, but I guess that is to be expected....Have a great day everyone!

Made - How are you and your family feeling ? How is your niece's arthritis doing ?

My sister, BIL, and oldest niece are doing better. My aunt went back to the doctor on friday to get another round of antibotics and I think me and mom are going to end up there tomorrow. We just can't seem to get rid of this cough.

My niece has been really hurting. She goes in monday for her next infusion and they are going to up her dosage of the medicine.

Praying you get some relief soon.

I did buy some new dish washing gloves the other day and had to take them back yesterday because one of the gloves were missing!!! I have new gloves now so bring on the dishes. That will cost you an extra 102 dozen cookies!

Yes, just bring the cookies with you and we will all go to Six Flags Holiday in the Park and ride a bunch of roller coasters! =)

Good to see you and I hope the babies let you and Brandi rest!

We had to sleep with the air conditioner on last night. It's warm out right now but the temps will start dropping at noon and possible snow flurries overnight!!! From air conditioning to heater in 24 hours. :D

I plan to do all my baking tomorrow since the weather will be perfect!

204 dozen? The kitchen aid is going to be smoking.

Roller Coasters? That's a deal breaker. I want to go to the Christmas Store.

Oh I forgot to add...poor snowball has a bladder infection...(no really) he does so I am having to give him 2 different rx'es for 7 days then take him back to see if it has cleared up on Tuesday...I have a great Vet..we had to wait one hour last Week when we took him in because the vet was doing an emergency surgery on a black Lab that had tackle and hooks down his throat...great news though the dog made it out of surgery and is okay...although it sounds horrible for the poor little dog....I can't wait until we move to Utah and snowball actually sees snow for ther first time...this time next year we will be there.I just hope Brandi finds work out there I heard it is hard to find a job out there even for teachers...anyways have a great day everyone!

CAH, thank you! We are ready for moving day to get here. Just not fully packed yet..hahaha!

I saw that on the news this morning that Dallas was going to have a major temp drop in the next 48 hours. As for us in southeast Georgia we are going to be warm until Tuesday but even then it will not be "normal" this is a repeat of last year...(no winter)!!!I hope you can get flurries though!!!:!!

gabulldawg, I will keep snowball in my prayers as well. Please give him a hug for me.

We are both moving to snow country! Adrian & I Are moving back closer to our families in Wisconsin right after Christmas this year!

Utah is beautiful. Best of luck to you guys!

Good Morning MMC!!! It's going to be another rainy and cold day here in Central Indiana. I think I'm going to be a bad boy and skip church this morning. I think my day is going to involve a lot of Christmas movies and some football. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

Sounds like a perfect evening!

That looks like a ton of cookies, made!

We had a great evening watching the Basil Rathbone version of "The Stingiest Man in Town." So complex for a live production. The director must have had nerves of steel! I loved it last year, and I'm even more impressed with it this year. We also looked at the 1959 Lawrence Welk Christmas show, which was also a treat. Both on the big screen via the video projector! With popcorn, and Coke in glass bottles.

Good night!

THis is like the first time I have been online all week...and I am looking at some shows to start watching in the new year when things settle down some...American Idol comes on starting middle of January...I always try to watch that show but in the last few seasons I haven't. I love Celebrity Apprentice and it starts March 3rd and this year is going to be the All starts version...can't wait ! Usually this time of year I like to take it slow and relax but this year everything seems to be going way too fast. I actually can't believe we are on day 27 of the season!!!

Oh, Shellie, take care of yourself! This is not the time of year to be sick! My friend at the Elks Lodge sometimes says she's going to shed a tear for Ireland, but I never heard her say she was going to cough for Ireland. LOL!
