one big tree to decorate
2 cheese cakes to bake
8 dozen cookies to bake and decorate,
15 gingerbread houses to bake and put together for others to decorate,
and 18 Christmas center pieces to make

I have condensed my jobs to the 5 days of Christmas!!

good morning y'all! long time- no see! how's it w/ everyone?
not sure if y'all remember, but i had asked for prayers for Will's gr.mother earlier last week. unfortunately she passed away on friday. this was his gr.mother on his dad's side. (Will is my adopted son). when he got a car & was able to drive he would go see her on Sundays. he is doing good now. he was very upset @ 1st, of course, but put it all in God's hands & he said he felt @ peace w/ what happened. the struggle she went through made it easier to say goodbye. she was in terrible shape.

hope everyone is well. the flu seems to be going around pretty bad here. no one sick yet in our household. God willing we won't be. i've heard of lots of little 1's getting it. poor things.

don't mean to be a downer, just wanted to fill y'all in.

CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY #28



Good Morning.
And good heavenly days!
After today, FOUR WEEKS of Christmas Season 2012 will be complete.
Just not possible.

About as possible as this:
Days to Christmas Day: 15 (TWO WEEKS from TOMORROW!)
(I can almost hear the bells on Santa's sleigh!)

It was a bit cooler and a little damp yesterday but all in all, pretty good for December in these parts.
Should be a tad warmer today and hopefully drier.
We are at 63 degrees here currently, under cloudy skies.

Wooohooo! I finally saw the Hershey Kisses Bells commercial on TV this year for the first time. I had to share it I was so excited to see it.

I love that commercial !!! There is one commercial I really miss from childhood...I dont know how many here will remember it.....It was for, I believe, Norelco electric razors and it has Santa Claus riding down a hill of snow on a razor.........It was always my mother's favorite commercial and I always knew Christmas was right around the corner when I saw it !!!

Just getting ready to get started for the day......I am really hurting this morning. It must be the rainy weather....It will be better in just a little bit but right now - OUCH !! - My deep empathy to Made's little niece who is much more of a trooer than I !!! So far my new med is just making me tired but that will change all in good time..xo

Sugar - Your little daughter's picture is so precious !! Your babies are just beautiful. I see you and your husband in both of them !! xo

and it is my day off after 6 days of work. Not that it really is a day "off" I will be baking, shopping, baking, cleaning, baking, assembling, sawing, baking and in between doing typing of a report, faxing all my work records so I can get paid. A TOPS meeting tonight then more baking if not done yet. My breaks are coming here to visit with you all !

MMT... So sorry to read about your families loss.

All is well here no one sick, thank God! Hubby's mom comes in this Friday from Settle England, can't wait to see her!!!

We went to two tree lighting's this past weekend it was fun, I love those types of events. On Sunday, we were bad... No church, we went to the Giants game and had so much fun; I know that sounds crazy that we didn't go to church but we went with a group of friends and the bus left at 9:30 AM we had a great time tailgating and the game was awesome (at least for us Giant fans). We are a tight knit community at church so I did let them know we wouldn't be there so no one worried.

It rained all weekend and it is still raining today, it has been on the warmer side. As usual the Christmas Season is flying by, I try to savor some moments, so much to do.
