Mine as well!!!

My wife teases me all the time and tells me that it's not normal for a man to like shopping as much as I do, (heck I don't mind it at all when she shops for clothes either) she say's that I have too many of one and not enough of the other (the X and Y thing)...lol!

I don't know, I like to go, I'm easy to please just by looking around (window shopping) and I even get fascinated by looking at all the people there, etc...

That is great!

My husband, Snow-in-Texas enjoys shopping very much! We go to the malls and historic downtown shopping districts all the time. Because of him, I now enjoy going out on Black Friday. I never did until we got together. He said it was his tradition. I am glad he got me going because I love it! We do more "window shopping" than spending. It's just fun to hang out at the malls at Christmas time!

Edit: Sorry, I thought you posted that last night and now I see this is a new post this morning. I pray Wish will be okay. Sometimes my little chihuahua has days of not eating well then she is just fine. Hopefully it's just a little tummy ache and Wish we be fine later today.

Hi guys! Just listened to the podcast... loved hearing all of your voices and greetings! I tried to catch up as much as I could but I've been in a cookie haze this week.. and we got 2 new kitties - a mama and her kitten. The kids are over the moon! (They are named Gingerbread and Sugar Cookie!) I will share pics when I can get a decent one!!

Took JP to his Dr appt, he has to get a CAT scan due to the headaches he has been experiencing. I am nervous about this. Please keep him and us in your thoughts and prayers.

Wayne and I bought these K-Cups for our Keurig yesterday. I wonder why I am still laying here in bed! We have a big day planned but I feel this cold is not letting up and my energy level is low. I will try to get moving here shortly!

Nice! I wish my wife was more like me when it came to shopping, I'm like the Timex watch commercial... "I keep going and going..."; lol! Usually, I outlast her, especially after 8- 12 hours of shopping! Wow, I didn't realize that you both were husband and wife... and both here at MMC; That's kinda neat, I like that!

Happy Pines Day!!!! I can't beleive it's the LAST Pines Day before Christmas!!!! It is coming WAY. TOO. FAST! I have movies to watch yet, and more candy to make. And Christmas books to read. And wrapping to do. And visiting to do! Ahhhhh...and why does it happen that we (I) get so busy Christmassing that I run out of computer time to log onto my favorite Christmas website of all time!? Ironic!

I hope you are all doing well & loving this build up to Christmas as much as I am!! My hubby is working on getting a cold, so we need him to lay around on the couch tonight - take it easy & GET RID OF IT before Christmas!!!! Heck, before tomorrow! HA!

My Bro/SIL are supposed to be coming in from Cape Cod tomorrow or Friday. They are driving. I'm hoping they come tomorrow b/c we are supposed to get a snow storm/wind later tomorrow night/Friday!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the snow, but please let my family make it home 1st!!!!

Good evening,

Last night shift of 2012 is done, 4 more shifts to go! I get home tonight and my wife's Dr called her and said she has pneumonia, they gave her a wrong diagnosis it is not bronchitis. I should probably get checked out now because I have had this cough since the first week of November and it doesn't seem to be getting better. No call from JP's Dr yet. It's always something.

I got to get ready for bed, back to the funhouse at 7am.

Just dropping by for a sec before we start another busy day. Wayne and I had so much fun with our granddaughter yesterday on her Special Christmas Day. She was like a little princess getting to do her own thing. We took her to historic Downtown Grapevine, Texas (Christmas Capitol of Texas). She had so much fun looking at all the pretty things the stores had.

Look what was on the movie marquee at the theater in Downtown!

LOVE this! What a great list of coming attractions!

I see that "A Christmas Story" was added to the National Film Registry this year---way to go, Ralphie!

Saturday we'll be having a special Christmas/movie party. We have a friend who does our outdoor work for us. Over the years we've had him and his wife and little boy in for a few times at Christmastime for pizza and a film show. Our schedules haven't meshed in recent years, but this year we're getting together again. Their little boy---the one who used to get bored with the movies and spill Coke on the rug and get wired on Christmas cookies---is graduating this coming spring and going into the Marines, and he's eager to have one more Christmas/pizza/movie party with us and his parents. Next Christmas he'll be somewhere out in the world with the Marines. It's touching to know that he remembers those movie shows so fondly, and wants to make one more memory of them. So it'll be a special evening for all of us.

That is so nice ~ I'm sure it will be a great night full of wonderful memories for all of you!

My sister, Mom, and I are going out to dinner tonight, then we're going to see Lights on the Bay. Last night, Mom and I went to church and then drove around looking at lights in Chelsea Beach. We've been having a pretty good time!
