I usually get excited for baseball season also, but I am not too high on my Red Sox at this time, too many holes still. I have my Bruins, hopefully until mid/late June.

We had a plan like that at my previous place I worked, if we won we were going to show up (there were 9 of us) in a limo on black Friday and tell them we all quit, and party the day away. That would have been funny to see their faces but I guess it was a mean plan.

Got out of work early today, because I worked late yesterday. I came home and surprised my wife with a homemade chicken pie...it was horrible, I don't know what I did wrong, the flavor was off, my gravy all dried up, you win some, you lose some. My day off is tomorrow, I have a quick doctors appointment tomorrow, but that is my biggest plan, so relaxation is on tap for tomorrow.

Good evening, Christmas family

Oh Gosh !!! Tired. It was pretty windy here today. A little warmer than yesterday but still a little chilly. Weather never stops Hermione from going out. Even when it is pouring down rain, she will go out in the yard and find a stick to lay down with and chew ! She does it to "get my goat" but you would think she would mind the rain. Go figure with Bloodhounds !! xo I think Hermione and I are really forming a bond. She no longer has to go in her "house" to sleep at night and early this morning since I am staying on the couch right now in case she needs anything, I was awakend by a wigly four month old Bloodhound feverishly giving me puppy smooches. I couldn't do anything but laugh. It was so cute.

Sabine - I am so, so sorry your poor little grandkids are going through this awful stuff. Bless you for taking them in. I pray they will be okay xo It always make me so sad when bad things happen to children, human and furkids xo

Xmas - Have a WONDERFUL day off tomorrow !

Made - How is your niece ??

Sugar - You take care now, being a nurse I am sure is so stressful. People do not realize all that you do. My very dearest friend of more than 40 years was a nurse on the floor for most of that time before she went into Care Management. Thank you for all you do for the patients and the doctors ((Hugs)) xo Nurses are the BEST !!

Most be over a week since i posted but i have always been looking in at the posts
What a week i have had. i have done nothing all week only spead money. work and run
Last was the last week to get stuff from the supplier that was closing down so i was buying all i could. but he let me go on to monday so i got some good deals monday and tuesday.. So i now have 17 pallets of mixed stock and 15 pallets of christmas stock. never in my life have i had christmas stuff in as easly.. my transport firm are going to have kittens..
As well as that last wednesday a friend this past while was always complaing of being able to hear his hear beat and being so sleepy all the time. so i made appomtment with his dr as he was not gonna do it. and he made him go to casulity and they keep him in. turns out he has a enlarged heart due to muscle damage. . that started a running session..everynight i had to take the father to the hospital which is 25 mile away . there is no one else as his sister died n her sleep 2 years ago .no one knows why and his mum died last year..i looked after the mum so i always was in touch
But it kinda was scary. as he is a big tall fella whi worked hard. and now he cant even walk 10 yards untill he is out of breath..
Anyway the father and him cant understand anything the dr are saying so i have to talk to the head nurse and them try and explain it to them.
They kinda have it under control. and last night are talking about letting him home. i wood love them to keep him in. as they have no one to help with food. washing or cleaning..and the son always looked after the father as he is a bit hard work as hes 83 and has heart problems. and the father can be very stressful . he even annoys me and am pretty hard to rattle.
They asked me to help and wood pay me but i dont think i can do it as it wood leave to much pressure on me. and i live 10 mile away

Weather is nice this morning bright but a lot cooler round about 7c
Not a lot to do today so just gonna do some shopping and get my easter stuff down from the attic. and a few things to the shop
The shop yesterday was really busy dont no what was going on but i had to go about 3 times with more stuff . i dont mind its only a five monute drive and i am thankful in this day and age where a lot of shops are closing down
My mate with the heart probelms got put yesterday from hospital. so had to go down last night. as him and the father have no one to cook for them. so had to go to a aunt which they had kinda fell out with and ask her wood she make dinners for them and sort out payment for her. It was hard as the father and her dont get on as he is a bit 2 faced.. but got it sorted.. i think and hope!! i told the father to shut his mouth from now on and not to be starting any trouble if the sis will walk away..i cant do it as i live 10 mile away but i said i wood do it friday/sat. that was it.
Was flicking over the tv channels last night and saw a christmas movie on.
Hoping you all have a nice day and and all furbabies are doing good and being good (some hope lol) take care and talk soon

good morning ya'll!! haven't been up to much here, just working, cooking, cleaning, etc.
sure do wish Christmas was here! that's the happiest time!
we are still working on proms @ work. 1 high school has prom & another has Catillion this weekend. my hands already ache thinking about making all the wristlets & boutinierres (my spelling is horrible!) i think there's 1 next week & then maybe 1 more after that. i'll be glad when they're over. i love seeing the kids come in & i love to see their dresses & stuff, but the actual "making" of them is getting more & more painful for me.

enough of that. i hope everyone is doing great today! oh by the way, i finally got our grass mowed. it was so bad i had to go back & rake the strips of piled up cuttings. it was good exercise though.

MADE- has your niece been doing ok? i know you had said she wasn't having any symptoms, i hope that continues. i'm praying for her.

my sister is still in pain but is healing. she had some of the staples removed from her back yesterday, the rest weren't healed enough to remove. my mama is still there tending to her. please pray for her too! ya'll have a fabulous day & i hope it's filled w/ love, hugs, & smiles!!!:p

Good Morning, Post-'Pines Day Personages.

Carl reports a good time was had by all at the old Shispering P yesterday.
And what fun was had with Carl's new game, "guess the mystery coffee blend".
Of course, Binger won as expected with the correct guess of vanilla extract blend.
(Wouldn't surprise me if they were the ones who co-created it.)

Well.

Less than a month away now from the 1/3 Christmas Day Milestone and exactly a month until the 200-day Season Window opens.
(Hey! That means just one month from today we drop down into the 100's.
Incredible!!)

Warmer yesterday with no rain.
Got some outside work done.
More of the same predicted for today.
Even the pollen fall seems to have lessened.

yes, I admit it, wanted to see what would happen...sorry. It wears off after 3 or 4 days.
