Christmas Countdown - 2012

Good evening,

I had a very long day today, I got out of work late, as it was inventory day. I got my Easter hams in this morning, and I had to separate and count them all by weight, we received over 6,000 lbs of hams, and 3,000lbs of turkeys also, to say the least I am exhausted, I didn't sleep well last night due to anxiety issues, but I believe I have solved my anxiety issues today, my appetite has returned, and I feel 100% better. My schedule got changed to an early shift tomorrow, due to a bigwig coming to tour, so morning will be here soon, got to go cheer on my Bruins.

Well I bought 5 tickets for the lottery tonight. If I win the 363 million I promise to fly everyone to Santa Claus, Indiana for a get together.

Yep, the tubes are out, and I exhausted myself this morning taking a shower!!!

Good afternoon, everyone! I am FINALLY caught back up on the countdown. I hope to not get behind like that again for awhile. I just get a call here a little while from work. They want me to do 12 hours again tonight, so scratch the idea of homemade chicken potpie for dinner. DH is going to pickup pizza for dinner on his way home from work.

I am going to do a few things around the house here quick, then I have to go shower. I will have to leave the house around 6:20p or so.

Made: I read all the posts about your niece. Glad to see her last day or so has been well for her. Hope it continues. Please do continue to keep us updated. I think and pray for her often, as well as you, and your entire family.

Star: I read the post about your son. Any news on his tests results? Praying for good results. Please let us know when you know something.

Seawaters: How did your appt. go yesterday? Did you get the tubes out? I still continue to pray for you everyday. Stay strong. Xoxo.

I think I may be able to sleep tonight !! I am actually kind of drowsy tonight. It was still kind of chilly here today but the sun was out and it was so pretty. I can't believe next week is Holy Week already. Sunday is Hermione's first day of puppy class. Wish us luck and maybe say a little prayer that my baby will understand.

Jennifer - I feel so bad about your bad experience at that salon. I HATE IT when I get my hair cut and it isn't right. I am so blessed though because I have had the same stylist for the past several years and she is very talented. I hope they can make it right for you!

So after a yesterday's news and a serious talk between me my son and my wife we have decided to look into a school change for next year we are considering a catholic high school and also a trade high school however with my son's aspirations to follow a career in law a trade school seems out of the running.We keep telling him to get as much out of high school as you can because its gone before you know it then he keeps getting his legs cut out from under him.It is taking all of my will not be on the phone with the school but my son is begging me not to because it seems anytime a parent complains the coach makes it a point to tell the rest of the team so and so's mom or dad called to complain then it becomes hell for the kid because the rest of the team taunts them relentlessly.

That idea might be a good one about changing schools.. bit the phone call might not. if the coach is like that which ke should not be. then it wood be better not to. its your son that will get the hassle.

Hello Christmas Friends


I know I haven't been here in a long time, Just wanted to let everyone know why. Little know fact about me, my ex father in law has been in my life for 12 plus years. even when his son and I divorced, and I remarried pop stayed with our family. he is my 2nd dad. On January 30 2012 our family was turned upside down. pop suffered a Hemorrhagic stroke. it's a stroke due to a brain bleed and it was in the middle of his brain. he suffered it here at home and I had to get him help. it's been a ruff 2 and a half months since then. Will he ever fully recover? we don't know..... but he can say a few words and he knows who everyone is and can at least move the left side of his body. it's going to take time, faith, and prayer.....

and now as I type this all but two of the 7 kids has the stomach virus and I haven't slept in over 24 hours.................. but I'm momma and when they are sick they want me

That is really nice of you to still look after your fil...am sure its not easy. but with a bit of time he may get a good bit better..Your hands are full at the moment with the kids sick as well. you take care of yourself to.

I think my brother in law is getting off to easy while my sister is out of town. My mom cleaned their house yesterday and I just did all of my niece's laundry. Plus someone has cooked them dinner everynight. All he has had to do is give my niece's their bath and put them to bed.

Well all am saying to that one is.." there is people in this world willing to do it(you ) and there is people willing to let them(father)...
Sorry made but yes i have to agree with you..i keep saying it again and again.. your a brillant uncle and i really hope your sister realises that

Good morning my mmc friends
Hope all is good your all this morning
Most be over a week since i posted but i have always been looking in at the posts
What a week i have had. i have done nothing all week only spead money. work and run
Last was the last week to get stuff from the supplier that was closing down so i was buying all i could. but he let me go on to monday so i got some good deals monday and tuesday.. So i now have 17 pallets of mixed stock and 15 pallets of christmas stock. never in my life have i had christmas stuff in as easly.. my transport firm are going to have kittens..
As well as that last wednesday a friend this past while was always complaing of being able to hear his hear beat and being so sleepy all the time. so i made appomtment with his dr as he was not gonna do it. and he made him go to casulity and they keep him in. turns out he has a enlarged heart due to muscle damage. . that started a running session..everynight i had to take the father to the hospital which is 25 mile away . there is no one else as his sister died n her sleep 2 years ago .no one knows why and his mum died last year..i looked after the mum so i always was in touch
But it kinda was scary. as he is a big tall fella whi worked hard. and now he cant even walk 10 yards untill he is out of breath..
Anyway the father and him cant understand anything the dr are saying so i have to talk to the head nurse and them try and explain it to them.
They kinda have it under control. and last night are talking about letting him home. i wood love them to keep him in. as they have no one to help with food. washing or cleaning..and the son always looked after the father as he is a bit hard work as hes 83 and has heart problems. and the father can be very stressful . he even annoys me and am pretty hard to rattle.
They asked me to help and wood pay me but i dont think i can do it as it wood leave to much pressure on me. and i live 10 mile away

The weather is really nice over here. warm but cool at night. think they are giving it cooler for the weekend
Shop is busy thank good and went to a car boot sale on sunday for a while and i did good. had to clear some stuff
Clocks when back saturday night. i was so scared of not waking for the car boot sale i set 3 alarms. but i woke ok.
I cant beleive its almost easter, today i think am gonna get my easter stuff down and get it up weekend. and i have my shop window to do up as well.
The two guys i had on the scheme are finished and they had another one due to start monday. but guess what .all of a sudden he signed on the insurance. so he wood not have to work. this country is great.if your not working.
Any way i really hope your all good and of course all fur babies as well.
My birds and dogs are doing good thank god. the birds outside are up from about 6 now it so nice to hear them. we have a table and chairs out the back with them and my partner takes his coffee out there every morning. and just sits watching them.( beats looking at me lol)

Greetings my fellow Christmas lovers. Like pretty much everyone else I have spring fever. I'm a huge sports fan so I use sporting events a milestone markers on the march toward Christmas. Hard to believe the baseball season kicks off next week (not counting that game in Japan this morning). It's all so exciting and wonderful. Wishing you all a beautiful day!

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's a dreary morning here in central Indy but the sun should come out soon and we should reach a high near 70. My brother in law works late tonight so I don't have to babysit until noon. I think I'm just going to bring my niece's back to my house and let them stay the night so I don't have to get up early tomorrow. I also have bad news for everyone. I didn't win the lottery so no party. The good news though is that no one won it. So we still have another shot on friday. Well I'm off to get some stuff done before I have to go get the little ones.
