Good morning, MMC! How is everyone on this fine day? I am well. It's the weekend and I'm off, so it makes it even better!

Something funny: I was trying to get caught up on the posts last night and haven't even posted my own post last night. I had just read the post about Coach and Made both saying they fell asleep, in bed, reading the Countdown. Well, I had been in bed, because EA wanted to watch a DVD in our Great Room before going to bed. I was reading the Countdown and must have fell asleep - the last posts I remember reading were those! :)

Nothing a whole lot planned for today. DH is doing some work outisde and I am going to spend some time with the kids until he comes in. This evening, we have church and dinner with my family, then we will spending time with them.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday. I know so many of you need prayers or are sick. Know that I am thinking about each of you and I am praying.

Off to read the Countdown and the rest of the threads!

Good Saturday morning, my Christmas friends!

I am once again posting live from Bernie's General Store in beautiful downtown Bellville, GA! The sausage, bacon and eggs are all cooked, the coffee pot is full and I'm ready for you guys to show up! Seawaters will pick you up in her Lear jet when you're ready!

I'll be here till lunch, then I have a funeral to attend, then my daughter's dance recital.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

I am game for a pick up, Seawaters! Have fun at your daughter's dance recital.

Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

I finally got a haircut yesterday, and although there was apparently a bit of drama going on between the three ladies that work there, it turned out pretty good. At one point the girl cutting my hair, while having a barely-civil conversation with a fellow hairdresser, walked out in tears...with half of my head cut! I thought I would leave and come back another day...but half of my head was cut!

She finally came back (15 mintues later), apologized, and started cutting again. Her hands were shaking, and she hooked my ear a couple times with that sharp comb of hers, but we got through it with minimal bloodshed. Yippee!

I'll be opening Bernie's store tomorrow, then I have to go to my cousin's grandmother's funeral, then we're going to Elizabeth's dance recital. Sounds like I have a full day in store.

I'll look forward to seeing you all at Bernie's for breakfast!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

That's pretty funny! There always is a lot of DRAMA when you go the salon. I can't believe the gossip I always here.

Thinking of your family in this difficult time. Prayers for them.

I can't remember the exact quote or who said it, but it says, "When you get to heaven, every dog you've ever owned will come running to greet you."

I've never heard this quote before, but it just makes me smile. Thanks for this, Merry.

My blood test was normal; well, as normal as it could be!!! Another chemo on Monday and the doctor said the hair will probably come off next week. Who needs any?

Glad to hear it! I will be thinking of you.

So my sister has booked a cabin down at Lincoln state park right by Santa Claus, Indiana for the last week of may. When she picked up my niece this afternoon I mentioned that I may come down and visit them one day and then head over to check out the town. She told me I wasn't allowed. That they just wanted to get away for awhile.:x Uh hello. I just planned out your whole vacation for you because you didn't even know what all was there. Not to mention the fact that I just babysat your kids for 2 weeks so you could go to Seattle. Now you can't even let me stop by for a couple of hours during your week long vacation. Let's see what happens the next time I'm told I have to babysit without even being asked first.

Ok rant over.

Ok...so what I am going to say (I hope you don't mind me saying so...) You're such a great uncle and you do so much for your family. (I am sure you realize this by what you just posted.) I feel so bad for you - you obviously just wanted to spend time with your family anyway. What would your sister do, if one day, you decided you didn't want to help her as much...so on. I know you would never be like that though. Hope things get worked out for you.

Ok...my rant over now! :)

Seawaters, I haven't talked to you in awhile but I am always thinking of you! Sending good thoughts, prayers, and hugs your way!

Made, that is really awful for yoru sister to behave that way! You are a great uncle.. I hope she comes to her senses.

Good evening, Christmas family

Thank you all so much for all the kindness and love you have shown me on losing Ivy and even before, when she was in the hospital. Thank you all also for the the amazing graphics on some of your posts and CHRISTMASSTAR thank you for that wonderful article you sent me. It did help me to put all things in perspective.

I apologize deeply for any negativity I put out last evening. I guess it was my way of trying to accept the situation and for some reason, lashing out seemed to be what I wanted to do. I am so sorry if I offended anyone.

Ivy went to sleep today at 1:30 EST....She was very peaceful and she went to sleep with both of us kissing her and telling her how much we love her.....I know she is in the arms of the Great Physician even as I write. Perhaps even on His lap....The house is somehow MUCH EMPTIER without my "little bean"........I believe her spirit is partly still here because this is where she grew up and was the only home she ever knew.

((((Cm3 and Ivy)))

I sent you a PM

It's my wife and my anniversary today, number 10! It seems like yesterday we made our vows. We have been together for nearly 14 years now altogether.

Good Morning MMC!

I have a bunch of little jobs to do today and some sewing to get done. Need to run down to the store as well.
But for now, will enjoy a cup of tea and hang out here.

Have a great day!!

Morning, gang! All caught up on reading posts. Just sitting here looking out the windows and enjoying the sunlight that is coming through. It's windy out, but I love the breeze....can't beat it.

Today, our high school baseball and softball team play in district tourneys, so I'm going to spend the afternoon at the ballpark. After the games, I've got the steaks ready to go and the grill cleaned. Going to be a nice day. However, this morning I've got to spend a few hours at the office.

Anyways, I'm going to enjoy a little more coffee and time on the board. I'll see y'all later!
