I am actually the same way with needles. I obviously have to start IV's on people and draw blood, but I hate having it done to me.

They came and finished putting the shutters on our house today. It looks so nice!

Last evening turned out to be kind of stinky - after I last finished posting here, I went to pick the kids up at daycare and I came home to a message on the answering machine and it was work, they wanted me there at 7. Boy was it a night from you know what. We were so busy. Summer is always like that. Lots of women having babies!

Hope all is well. Been a busy month. Seems like I have less time to come on here when I am job hunting. Looking for a job. Too bad it is nearly impossible to find one when you're overqualified for everything.

My mom is having the same problem. You would think with 20+ years of retail management experience it wouldn't be to hard for her to find something but everyone here is just looking for entry level people.

Another long day at work, day off tomorrow. I will be extra busy here, I have the cable guy coming early, so I got to get the kids to daycare early. Oil change, getting my hair cut ( I got quite the blond fro going on right now) getting LC's birth certificate, and a few more things on my honey-do list I can't remember at the moment.

I am sorry that your night was bad. I hope things start to get better for you! It's 5:35 PM here but sometimes training goes on for quite some time - if you're still in there I am sending prayers your way!

Can't believe in less than 3 months is Christmas in July.

I know! How exciting! As much as I want it to be here right now, I don't want to wish the whole summer away. It is giving me something special to look forward to.

couldn't sleep too good last night. guess it's because hubby's not home. that's 2 nights in a row now, heck i'll probably fall out this evening as soon as i get comfy.
the men are about done laying the new carpet @ work & geez what a mess they made. boss is fussing about it, can't find anything right now. i guess we will be reorganizing & putting stuff away in our down time...yaay
haven't mentioned this but my mama has pink-eye. i don't have any idea how this little woman gets all this stuff but...she went to the doc last week & they gave her some eye drops, had to go back yesterday & the other doc there told her the ones the doc gave her had only made it worse. hopefully these will take care of it, i just hope the rest of them over there don't get it, they say that stuff is very contagious.

daughter told me last night to wake her up @ 5:30 this morning, well i did & she says, "mama, i can't this morn'in, i gotta real bad headache. let me sleep till 7 please". dadgummit, i could've slept too ya' know.

Pink eye is no fun, I know that one from plenty of experience. At least if anyone would get it, it passed quickly with the drops. I am sorry that you haven't been sleeping well, I hope that you sleep better tonight!

Coffee waiting

Can I substitute my coffee for hot chocolate? It makes me a little more calm and manageable in the morning lol!

I have a lot of music on my computer at work, and I leave it playing all day and night on a continuous loop.

I typically take the Christmas music out of the loop till Christmastime, but when I walked in this morning, Santa Claus is Comin' To Town by Michael Buble' was playing. What a nice surprise!

That is such a nice surprise! It's nice to hear Christmas music when you aren't expecting to. That song is one of my personal favorites.

I can't believe it'll be November in 6 months!

I know! It seems like the months are just flying by in 2012. I feel like yesterday was Christmas break from college!

Cable guy is here doing his thing, my massive errand day will start as soon as he leaves. It is terribly rainy here today, no sign of zombies yet, but the part for my Saturn I ordered came in but I won't be able to fix it today, I need to get it done quickly, because our car won't pass the safety/emissions inspection until it is done. I have never done this type of repair before, but I watched a Youtube video on how to do it, and my cousin in law will be here to help me if I need it. He is a professional mechanic, so he can help me if I can't do it. But I want to do it so I can learn more to be more self efficient on fixing my car.

You know the cable guy is working down in the basement, and the only thing I fear him taking is my Christmas stuff, not anything else. cheesy I am sure he won't take anything though.

I hope you had a good day and that you manage to fend off the zombies or avoid a zombie attack in general. I think they hide during the day, so you should be safe even with some rain! I don't trust leaving people anywhere in the house! It always bothers me that people are going to snoop or take something that they shouldn't. Maybe I should be a little more trustworthy!

Har & I went for a walk with the neighbors and their dogs last night, it was nice.

After that, we finished watching A Golden Christmas 2. It was good (I never dislike a Christmas movie) but not as good as the first one. Not as much Christmas cheer as I like in a movie, but cute w/ the Golden Retrievers.

Well, today (1st) was suppost to be the day we moved to our new home. Unfortunatley a planning problem two weeks ago put paid to the whole thing and we are back to square one. Bit depressed to be honest, but it just wasn't meant to be. Onwards and upwards.

Monday is over and I kicked it's butt! Came home, rode 10 miles, and it kicked my butt. But I'm bound and determined to lose some weight...so I'm gonna pay the price.

Going to be a busy rest of the week...I'm afraid I won't be back until Thursday....or Wednesday night at the latest....hopefully not! So I will see you when I see you! Until then, be good or be good at it!
