A quick good morning and then I am off to rest and nap. The day after the Neulasta shot are really UNCOMFORTABLE, to say the least! Relay for Life is this weekend. I am going to TRY to do the Survivors' Lap. I am not sure how long I will last since I just finished a round of chemo. Last year, our small town (about 6,000 people) raised $61,000. That's not too bad! I hope to TTYL.

good a.m. my mc family! only 1 more day till the weekend!! woo hooo!
we are starting our slow season @ work so we all end up taking extra days off where needed. like everyone i need the work but i sure am looking forward to the time off. i just feel worn out & achy all the time so i guess the extra time off will be nice.

we are doing P90X. it's a cluster of dvd workouts. very very intense & you have to be a machine to be able to do the entire thing, especially just starting out. hubby & son workout in the shop together but me & daughter work out inside where the a/c is after they finish. we don't last as long as the peeps on the dvd but we are doing it. the guy says to just do as much as you can so that's what we do. according to the guy on the dvd we should work our way up to it but......it's kind'a strange, the soreness from it doesn't come until the next afternoon & WOW it really hits you hard. i am sooo out of shape!! lol!

Good for you!! I hear it's pretty tough!

the weather here is muggy & hot. i am thankful i have an indoor job this time of year. i still have some areas of the yard that need mulch put around them. i didn't plant much @ all this year.

my s-i-l & i are not really talking right now. she allowed my daughter to do something we never would have. it happened back last fall but we just recently found out about it & i confronted her. i did not yell, just told her we were very upset w/ her & daughter.
s-i-l lives w/ my rents. daughter has been back over there & s-i-l doesn't really talk to her as if she's mad @ daughter for telling us. my brother didn't know about it until after she had allowed daughter to do this & he even said something to daughter for telling us. hello!! my daughter had gotten into trouble the weekend school got out so she was already in deep trouble but then her brother was talking to her & found out s-i-l had let her do the same thing last fall. hubby, son, & i were livid. i think my daughter was so upset by disappointing us that she just told all. now, even though, we did nothing wrong, my s-i-l & brother are causing a wedge between us & my rents...& that ain't gonna happen! my dad is 80 & knows nothing of it but my mama does. i'm sure he's wondering what's going on. hubby said to let it go because atleast it will keep my brother & s-i-l from coming over all summer to the pool & hanging out. that's the only time they hang out here. i'm extremely close to my rents & it's not that i'm staying away from them, i've just been really tired from work, but i'm worried mama thinks s-i-l is the reason.....i think i'll go over this evening after work to see them.

Hope you get this straightened out, merry- it's always tough when it's a family issue. Good luck! Like Shellie said, regardless what happens w/ your brother & s-i-l, make sure your mama knows the whole story so all is good w/ her. I'll be thinking of you, friend.

Relay for Life is big deal around here, too. All the local businesses sponsor teams, and the have a great time out on the Rec Dept. ballfields. The, of course, walk thier laps, and have games, reverse beauty pageants, karaoke, etc. Lots of fun, and a good cause!

We took my in-laws to the airport this morning- why is it so hard to say goodbye?! The house always seems so quiet after family leaves...

Nancy brought home P90X DVDs a couple weeks ago. I'm scared!!

I had a workout last night... I had to get up from the couch to walk over to the fridge to get a cold beer.; about did me in:lol:...... No seriously, my wife has been after me for a while now to start loosing that "winter insulation", that I have been slowly picking up over the past few years. So, I went out and got a treadmill and a exercise bike and yet nothing happened, didn't loose a pound. The other day she said to me, "You know what, I think you would have a better result, if you actually got on them and used them"! She said I had that typical man/ husband look on my face; you know, It's the one where we do the Tim Allen, Huhhhhhhh...... :lol:

It s 5.30 here and just in from closing the shop
I have lit the bbq and waiting on it to be ready to cook. just got burgers. hotdogs and ribs and galic potatoes..
Got a lot done today but wood still have needed a few hours . i dont no what to do with it now as the shop is full and there is 2 pallets tomorrow
But that will do me to wednesday of next week. as this is another bank holiday and then there is another day of for the banks and post office for the queens jubilee..on the tuesday
Its more england i guess. but am gonna open the shop but use it as a excuse not to bring stuff in.

Guess Who's baccccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Time to own up to my absence, decided i should "man-up".. Obviously you all know That I haven't sent out my christmas cards still... Can you believe it! Cause I can't. I still intend to get them out, Whenever i get some extra $. Last couple months have been financially strained to say the least.. but luckily my wonderful DB was hired at his new job, started monday.. So hopefully bills etc. will be caught up and I'll be able to send out Your guyses cards!! I missed it here badly, but, being my silly self.. I was and still am so embarassed that I didn't send the cards.. that I strayed away from the site. Please do forgive me for not sending them yet hahaa... but seriously, i am so Sorry Hopefully you all won't be receiving two cards this christmas.. (ha-ha.. )

Anyways!! Man I have missed this place! And all you wonderful people!!!! AND WOW do I have a ton of reading to do

Good evening, Christmas Family !!

Okay. Here's the scoop !!

As you know I was freaking out because my iPod just w/o warning. I thought it was dead. I kept reading everything everyone told me to do to get my files back and also checking on the web for iPods that all of a sudden DIE. I found one suggestion I thought I would try first before trying to retrieve them through Icloud.

The suggestion said to resurrect a dead iPod try pushing the button down toward the bottom center at the SAME TIME you push the on button !! IT WORKED !!!!!!

My Ipod was just needing its battery charged !! Of course I didn't know that ........When I plugged it in to the charger and it didnt make that noise make I figured it was GONE. So.........I charged it and it acted perfectly normal.

This morning the first thing I did was hook it to my laptop and I got a message asking if I wanted to import all the photos and videos to my laptop and I said YES !! So all my files are now safe. If it dies again there is no worry. I have my Ivy preserved or at least her image !! as well as all the other photos and videos !!

I am hoping that perhaps I just panicked and assumed it died because of the water that in reality it just needed charged. Time will tell. It is acting PERFECTLY NORMAL though.... Before it came back this time I did let it soak for a few moments in alcohol just in case because of the potential threat of corrosion from water. I hope that helps.

So far, so good. For now it is back and my files are transferred. Also, I wanted to share that I put about 10 silica gel packs in with it along with the uncooked rice and there is NOT EVEN A TRACE OF WATER DAMAGE to the srcreen now!!! It is AMAZING.
